In this explosive episode of The Backlash, host Rebecca Hargraves sits down with Daniel McAdams, Executive Director of the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity and longtime advisor to Congressman Ron Paul, to break down the battles shaping our world today.

We cover the two-year anniversary of October 7th, the U.S.–Israel relationship, and how younger Republicans are rejecting endless wars — leaving the “party of war” scrambling for answers. McAdams reveals why he believes the Constitution has been reduced to a PR tool, the state of government overreach in free speech (including the Jimmy Kimmel scandal), and where things really stand in the Ukraine–Russia conflict.

From boomers to normies, from Washington to Tel Aviv, we ask: is America waking up to the costs of empire — or doubling down on destruction?

Well, thanks so much for having me on. I really have to join you. Awesome. Episode 81 [0:04:37] Rebecca Hargraves So I binge watched your interviews the judge to Paul Tano this week. [0:04:40] Dave Reilly And I heard you say that you view the Constitution as an excellent PR tool. [0:04:47] Rebecca Hargraves And I thought that was an interesting perspective. [0:04:48] Dave Reilly We often talk about the Constitution and how we move from constitutional conservative to wherever [0:04:54] Rebecca Hargraves we are on the right right now, because the Constitution has failed to protect us in a meaningful way. I was hoping you could elaborate on that a little bit. [0:05:02] Dave Reilly So the Constitution is used by whoever's in power to do whatever they want to do to us, [0:05:07] Rebecca Hargraves whether it's according to the letter of the law or not, the Constitution was written to [0:05:11] Dave Reilly be the law of the land. I mean, it's a law just like you can't drive through a red light. But when you have, when the Democrats get in, they use their interpretation, and they tell you what it means this, and the Republicans come in and they do something the opposite or something actually very near what they do, but with their own spin on it. And they say this is what the Constitution, everyone is a constitutionalist in Washington, DC. [0:05:33] Rebecca Hargraves The only thing missing is the actual Constitution itself, you know, and at the concept of [0:05:37] Dave Reilly federalism, you know, and that's all gone by the window. So yes, it's used as a PR weapon by the political class in the US. [0:05:44] Rebecca Hargraves Do you advocate for us to return to constitutional values or to uproot the system? [0:05:50] Dave Reilly I mean, I don't want to speak for Dave, but we both have kind of come to the conclusion [0:05:55] Rebecca Hargraves Episode 81 that we're going to have to work outside of the system in order to achieve our goals as [0:06:00] Dave Reilly a movement. Well, I endorse a session, and if it's not whether it's states, that's fine too, whether it's regions, that's fine too. [0:06:10] Rebecca Hargraves There's a lot of really interesting things going on out there in the West. [0:06:14] Dave Reilly My former stomping grounds of, you know, parts of states wanting to secede, but it also can be your communities. It also could be just your own household to secede as much as you can from what's out there that's harmful to your families and to your communities and to your states. So it's a little bit more necessary to point that out, but I've done it in a religious [0:06:36] Rebecca Hargraves context to be honest, I don't want to go there for not ready to go there, but I gave a series of talks about how I'm having to be a practicing Roman Catholic, and I've given a lot of talks [0:06:46] Dave Reilly about how Catholics should divorce themselves from the state, to very mixed reviews, I might say, because these are mostly conservatives and traditionalists. [0:06:57] Rebecca Hargraves I called it the evil empire why American Catholics must oppose the state. So that's, I think, whether you're a Christian or not would have you, but this idea of succession, [0:07:06] Dave Reilly I think, is so important. [0:07:07] Rebecca Hargraves We're both Catholic. Something that was troubling that has happened in the last few years, and I'm sure you're aware [0:07:11] Dave Reilly of, is how FBI agents became entrenched within traditional Catholic churches, and have monitored them, infiltrated them in very astonishing ways. How can we secede, meaningfully, if the federal government is clearly not going to allow us to do that? [0:07:35] Rebecca Hargraves Yeah, that's absolutely true, and it's a problem. I mean, it's a long, hard process. [0:07:40] Dave Reilly We also have to convince a lot of other people to join us. Thankfully, we don't have to convince 50% plus one, because once you reach a critical mass, things will go in your direction, but it is very difficult, Episode 81 and the government that has the power to do things like that to put people on watch lists, to put whole churches [0:07:55] Rebecca Hargraves on watch lists. [0:07:57] Dave Reilly I guess if you are sitting there in church and someone says, let's go over to the government, [0:08:01] Rebecca Hargraves well, you know, that's probably the Fed. [0:08:02] Dave Reilly Okay, in your midst, that's always the case, hey, let's do this, let's do that. [0:08:07] Rebecca Hargraves Let's storm the Capitol. [0:08:08] Cameron M Okay, there's your Fed right then and there. [0:08:11] Dave Reilly So yeah, it is very difficult, and they've, you know, they've got all the tools to use against us, but that doesn't mean, you know, we should stop trying, that we should oppose it. [0:08:20] Rebecca Hargraves And I think, in fact, in the case that you're talking about, just the fact that we brought [0:08:24] Dave Reilly that to light made it to be an example of federal overreach, and people will bring that up. Even people who don't like Catholics will bring that up and say, this is crazy, you know. So it actually rebounded and became, I think, a benefit to us, at least in terms of rhetoric. Yeah, no, I think I completely agree with you. I just had it up on the screen. Do I still have it? Yeah, this was, we covered this, or no, I covered this, I went on a different podcast called The Run Down, which is like a Catholic podcast based here in North Idaho. And we went over the whole House Judiciary Committee report because they illegally spied on a priest. They contacted MI6 and the Counterterrorism Unit in London to open an investigation to an American citizen that the FBI was not authorized to do. And so they used MI6 and, you know, British intelligence to get around that. It was really, really messed up. And you know, in here in Idaho, I wasn't, I wasn't going to bring it up, but now I am. It's working. We had over the weekend, I've got some video here. We had like a thousand Catholics or so that showed up and we did a nice rosary procession around City Park and Cortal Lane. It was, oh, let me see, can I skip so you can get a size of the crowd. It was absolutely massive. Probably the biggest one that we've had, I think, in about five years. And it's a far cry from where we were because I remember in 2022, a gay pride group reported a rosary procession in Cortal Lane and they started to investigate me, so anyway, it's nice that I feel like the boot has been lifted from the neck a little bit, but what does your take on all of this stuff that's been going on? Community relation service has been defunded. The FBI does, it does seem like there's something Episode 81 happening internally there. Are you optimistic or do you think that most of this stuff is just a show for the MAGA base or whatever? [0:10:27] Cameron M Yeah, I mean, I don't think the MAGA base is our friends necessarily. [0:10:31] Rebecca Hargraves I mean, there might be some tactical alliances, but they've shown that they like to use power [0:10:35] Dave Reilly in an unconstitutional and abusive way just as much as the, as the Libs did when they did it. And that's just the case. I mean, that's why I really believe the only solution is to shrink the size of government. [0:10:47] Rebecca Hargraves I mean, if, if only tribes were as rad as their, as the FBI claims they are, that would [0:10:53] Dave Reilly be, that would be nice. But I liked that public display and my old church St. Athanasius near Washington, D.C. we had quite a few of those every year and it was always nice to do that. Of course, back in Hungary was a little bit different because the entire town would come [0:11:06] Rebecca Hargraves out. [0:11:07] Dave Reilly And, you know, I was, I spent some time in Chopra, which is the western part of Hungary and the [0:11:12] Rebecca Hargraves entire town shuts down and everyone goes to the streets. [0:11:15] Dave Reilly It was, I forget the feast, maybe it was the assumption where Rose petals were, were spread in front of the, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, beautiful thing. It's always nice to see that sort of thing. Yeah. Now, we are coming up on the two-year anniversary of October 7th. And so I think a lot of our people, we already kind of know we were following along from the beginning. There's a lot of people that tune into the show. They hate watch the show, just because of how much they hate what we have to say. But I guess I was curious if you could kind of give a, a little bit of a rundown of like, what we have learned in the wake of October 7th, what actually happened that day? What can be proven, were there 40 beheaded babies, were there mass rapes that were committed? And then what, what have we started to see as, as the fallout for this, as we, as we approach this two-year anniversary? Well, thanks to the brave work of people like Max Blumenthal in the Grey Zone. We know that the whole thing was the Hannibal Directive, you know, where you just start killing your own people. And it was pretty obvious from the very beginning that that's what was going on, but of course, just like after 9-11, you weren't able to say anything that went outside the accepted [0:12:25] Rebecca Hargraves Episode 81 narrative where you'd be drummed out of polite society. But you know, when you had a bunch of guys parachuting in on lawn chairs with AK-47s, and then you look over and you see an entire parking lot of cars completely burned to a crisp [0:12:42] Dave Reilly while no AK-47 that I know would do that. [0:12:45] Cameron M I mean, so it's very clear. [0:12:47] Dave Reilly And the other point, not to rehash these old things, because I'm sure your audience knows [0:12:50] Rebecca Hargraves it very well, but when you have the most tightly controlled and compacted and surveilled part [0:12:56] Dave Reilly of the entire world would make, you know, each Germany or North Korea look like an open society. [0:13:02] Rebecca Hargraves But when you have this, and it still takes hours upon hours for any sort of response, you do have to start scratching your heads and wondering, well, maybe this was a setup for a particular [0:13:12] Dave Reilly reason. [0:13:13] Rebecca Hargraves And then you ask what happened in the two years that followed, and you see the absolute destruction. [0:13:20] Dave Reilly Here we go. [0:13:21] Rebecca Hargraves This is the AK-47s don't do this guys. When you see the total destruction and annihilation and genocide and Gaza, Christians and Muslims, [0:13:31] Dave Reilly then you can see that you can certainly at least surmise that there was a reason for all of this to happen, and it was to give the green light for the final solution to the Palestinian [0:13:41] Rebecca Hargraves problem. [0:13:42] Dave Reilly Episode 81 Wow. Now, I had a kind of a wild experience over the weekend. I went to a buddy's house to smoke a cigar, and his boomer mother came out, and she was hanging out on the porch with us. [0:13:53] Rebecca Hargraves And the anti-Semitic shit that came out of her mouth was unbelievable. [0:13:58] Dave Reilly And total normy, total mega, you know, raw, raw Donald Trump up until the election. There is a shit amongst normy conservatives. And it shocked me, I mean talking about, well, yeah, you saw they were trafficking kids and the tunnels, didn't you? And it's like, holy shit, what happened to the boomer mega moms? Because they've gone, they've blown right past us, and they are hanging out in the crazy territory. So I was curious, from your perspective at the Ron Paul Institute, you know, being among, I would think a little bit more polite circles than us. [0:14:34] Cameron M That's not true. [0:14:37] Dave Reilly What are you seeing happening among the conservative base and among, I guess, patrons of the Ron Paul Institute, as far as this awakening goes? So definitely people who support us understand that we stand for Dr. Paul's principles, which is no entangling alliances, regardless of where they are. Now these days, the number one entangling alliance is the US and Israel. And so there will be a tendency, and this is, of course, one of the tools they use to keep us from talking about it, is that excessive focus on this means that you're anti-Semitic. [0:15:08] Rebecca Hargraves And actually Max Blumenthal put out a funny post on X the other day when a new poll came [0:15:13] Dave Reilly out showing the very large percentage of American Jews opposed Israel and opposed what they're doing. He said, I guess, most Jews in America are also anti-Semitic because they take this position. But certainly, there's a massive split on the right. And that's where it counts, I think, because you had, as you pointed out, it was definitely generational. You had this generational appeal or this lock that the evangelicals had on a good chunk [0:15:39] Rebecca Hargraves of America. [0:15:41] Dave Reilly And I think that you've seen that completely split open, not only just in general among conservatives but even among evangelicals who are seeing a big split. [0:15:48] Rebecca Hargraves You see the rise of, I mean, you see people like Chuck Baldwin, Pastor Baldwin, who have [0:15:52] Cameron M Episode 81 very outspoken. [0:15:53] Rebecca Hargraves And there are many more like him at the time. [0:15:55] Dave Reilly He was the outlier, but now he's pretty much, you know, getting toward the mainstream. [0:16:01] Rebecca Hargraves Every poll, and we just, we cite this all the time on the Liberty Report, but every poll you're seeing about conservatives and Republicans starting in the spring of this year has shown a massive, massive shift away from support for Israel. Yes, it's generational, but it's across the board as well. [0:16:18] Dave Reilly I'm a new poll came out. It was a Pew poll. I think it came out over the weekend. I don't have a right in front of me, but it was something like 59% of Americans in total [0:16:28] Rebecca Hargraves oppose Israel. [0:16:29] Dave Reilly And the numbers are just, I mean, they're just astonishing, 59% yes, 59% opposed Israel in [0:16:36] Rebecca Hargraves the United States. I never thought, you know, I've been around for a while, unfortunately, but I never thought [0:16:40] Dave Reilly I would see things shift this, this quickly. [0:16:43] Rebecca Hargraves Right. This is manifesting in some troubling ways, though. We've talked a lot about Charlie Kirk since this happened, and amongst our own circles that include a lot of normies, we saw some people go turbo conspiratorial on the Charlie Kirk thing, [0:16:59] Dave Reilly and they immediately were like, this is misad. [0:17:02] Rebecca Hargraves This is misad. Now, we've talked a little bit about this, like I personally don't think that it was, but are you also seeing people use situations like Charlie Kirk to express their distaste [0:17:12] Dave Reilly Episode 81 with Israel? And how should we, as a movement, be really, really prioritize focusing on what is true rather [0:17:24] Rebecca Hargraves than what is going to further us on the dissonant right? [0:17:27] Dave Reilly Well, there is always a rush to, to, you know, to benefit yourself, your political, you [0:17:34] Rebecca Hargraves know, position from any tragedy that happens, it's happened throughout history. [0:17:39] Cameron M My only count in argument, my one count in argument to that would be that all the conspiracy [0:17:43] Rebecca Hargraves theories of the past 20 years have all come true. [0:17:45] Dave Reilly So if you're betting on the conspiracy, you know, you probably have good reason. I think a better question would have been to ask, and this is what I try to do, because there were some people who've been consistent with the critical of Israel who just said they did it. [0:17:57] Rebecca Hargraves And I don't know who, I don't know who did it, but I wanted to, I would, my position was [0:18:02] Dave Reilly to ask the question, well, who benefits, who has the means and who has the motives? Well, Israel has shown its propensity to assassinate anyone, it believes are its enemies, [0:18:13] Cameron M including Americans like Rachel Cory, who they, who they murdered in broad daylight. [0:18:17] Rebecca Hargraves They've assassinated hundreds of not thousands of, of, of engineers and scientists in places like Iran and elsewhere, they're not even afraid to fire missiles into Iran, to assassinate [0:18:28] Cameron M people or it, or into Iranian territory. [0:18:32] Dave Reilly So do they have the, the motive and means, yes, they absolutely do. If it's true, and I didn't follow Charlie Kirk, as well as many others did, I knew how powerful he was and influential he was, but if it's true, us some people like Tucker Carlson, Candicello, and people who, who apparently knew him fairly Episode 81 well, if, if, as they were saying that he was turning away from his extremely pro-Israel position and starting to wonder which every normal [0:18:59] Rebecca Hargraves person I think would do when they looked at Gaza, then I could see that with a very, very [0:19:03] Dave Reilly good motive to silence him. So did, do we know that they did it? [0:19:07] Cameron M No. [0:19:08] Rebecca Hargraves But have they proven that they can do things like this, and they don't care where you come [0:19:12] Dave Reilly from? Yes. They've even said it openly. So I think it's an open door, it's an open question. Yeah. And it's like to say nothing about what happened in Doha was that last week or two weeks ago, they like bombed Qatar, and they bombed the negotiators. They bombed the negotiators. They bombed the negotiators. [0:19:29] Rebecca Hargraves But kill you. Oh my God. [0:19:31] Dave Reilly Now, maybe you'll know this, I had somebody over the weekend trying to tell me that Donald Trump forced BB Netanyahu to call Qatar and apologize. Did that happen? [0:19:42] Rebecca Hargraves I don't know. [0:19:43] Dave Reilly But it really matter, though. Not really, but it is kind of funny. [0:19:46] Rebecca Hargraves I doubt it would. [0:19:48] Dave Reilly Yeah, he did. He did. It was during a meeting. But it's like everything with Netanyahu, starting to interrupt you. No. It's like everything with Netanyahu and Trump. It's all performative. [0:19:56] Rebecca Hargraves I mean, it's all like, I'm really mad at BB. [0:19:59] Dave Reilly Episode 81 I'm really going to give them what for this time and then nothing happens. He just set it over the weekend. Oh, he's always so blanking negative. And then someone says, oh, Trump is finally starting to look out for America first. But nothing happens because of you know, this is all a PR push. And the sad part is that Trump understands that this is bringing down his popularity in a big way among people that truly are America first yet he can't seem to be able for whatever reason. [0:20:25] Cameron M Now, there might be some conspiracies there, but for whatever reason, he can't seem to [0:20:29] Dave Reilly bring himself to just simply, you don't have to turn against him. [0:20:33] Rebecca Hargraves He doesn't say, stop. You need to put a stop to it. [0:20:35] Dave Reilly There's no more weapons, no more bullets, no more bombs coming to you. That's it. It's done. You know, that's all you have to do is we would do with any other country is doing the same thing, but he can't seem to be able to do that. He's also unable to do that with Ukraine. I was curious. I think you've been following the war and Ukraine probably closer than I have. I've just kind of checked out. You know, it's like, you know, he said he was going to end it in 24 hours. I like that. You know, I pulled the lever. [0:20:59] Rebecca Hargraves Then we're talking Tomahawk missiles. [0:21:00] Dave Reilly I got the fell forward again award. [0:21:02] Rebecca Hargraves I did not. [0:21:03] Dave Reilly But you could get it. It'll reveal publishing.com, but you know, sorry, I had to do the shameless plug, but yeah, so we gave Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine is that this is what I'm hearing now. [0:21:17] Rebecca Hargraves We said it's not off the table. [0:21:20] Dave Reilly Okay. So what would happen if Ukraine used Tomahawk missiles against Russia? What would happen next? I think it depends on the target. If it hit in the middle of red square, I think there'd be a big problem. You know, Tomahawks, from what I understand, I'm not a weapons expert, but I don't believe [0:21:40] Rebecca Hargraves Episode 81 there's any platform that can ground fire a Tomahawk missile. So I just wonder how they're going to fire them. [0:21:45] Dave Reilly They have 16s get shot down every the time they go up the air. I think this is kind of more theater. [0:21:50] Rebecca Hargraves If you remember, if you followed it, the wonder weapons started from almost day one, we have [0:21:56] Dave Reilly to give them the javelin missiles. That'll win the war. [0:21:59] Rebecca Hargraves Nope. [0:22:00] Dave Reilly That didn't happen. We got to give them the Bradley tanks. That'll win the war. Nope. [0:22:04] Rebecca Hargraves Didn't happen. Down and down and down the line. [0:22:06] Dave Reilly The high Mars, that'll do it. Nope. Didn't happen. If 16, that'll do it. Nope. Didn't happen. [0:22:12] Rebecca Hargraves You know, the storm shadows. Nope. Didn't happen. [0:22:15] Dave Reilly This is how it's going on and on. Now it's a Tomahawk. It's basically, it's basically Charlie Brown and Lucy. And we keep following for this whole idea that this will change. No, it's not going to change the time. [0:22:22] Rebecca Hargraves It doesn't. It's not rocket science. If you are a country that's like a tenth the size in terms of population, in terms of industrial output, in terms of modernization and sophistication, you're not going to win [0:22:35] Dave Reilly against the other country that's, you know, 10 or 100 times the size of you. Of course. It's just not going to happen. It's easy. Anyone could have predicted it. [0:22:42] Rebecca Hargraves Um, Ukrainian media sources, they're, they're 90% funded by the United States. [0:22:47] Dave Reilly Episode 81 You're going to say ID, right? [0:22:48] Rebecca Hargraves Yeah. [0:22:49] Dave Reilly Um, so do you believe that Donald Trump is actually getting faulty information? [0:22:53] Rebecca Hargraves I mean, it seems to me that he should have superior information than the media sources that, that were funding. [0:23:00] Dave Reilly Like, I find it hard to believe, even just him using his common sense, which I know he doesn't have a lot of, um, that he would not see that this is an unwinnable war for Ukraine. Well, there's two things coming into play here. The first of all is Trump's ego. [0:23:15] Cameron M And I think that's the reason why as we started, as you said earlier, when we started out [0:23:20] Rebecca Hargraves as very positive. It's not my war. [0:23:22] Dave Reilly I'm going to end this war, uh, which if you were to listen to people who actually knew how to do these things, the answer would have been just stop funding it. It'll be over very soon. And they'll, they'll understand this is unsustainable without US backing. But his, his ego wasn't, it didn't allow him to do that. He wanted to be the big peacemaker on the scene. And that was very unfortunate, uh, that he, that he did that. But the fact of the matter is, you know, he, he, this is not a war that can be one no matter [0:23:48] Cameron M what we do. [0:23:49] Dave Reilly A lot of weapons, by the way, you know, we shot off the, at least 25% of our dad missiles helping our buddies Israel when they decided to do a sneak attack on Iran. [0:23:58] Rebecca Hargraves So we're running out of weapons. [0:23:59] Dave Reilly We don't produce a lot of weapons. We're, we're backing the losing horse and it would have been very easy just to walk away Episode 81 [0:24:04] Rebecca Hargraves from it. Right. Um, younger generations, especially since October 7th and, um, the Ukraine war and Iran, they [0:24:13] Dave Reilly are overwhelmingly genuinely anti war, not in the way that Republicans often purport to be. [0:24:19] Rebecca Hargraves But I think the era of Lindsey Graham is over. [0:24:21] Dave Reilly And although I don't believe that we have an, an inter solution, uh, inter, um, party solution [0:24:27] Rebecca Hargraves to, uh, to help us, um, what do you think is the fate of the Republican party? Do you think that they're going to adopt these new ideologies that are coming through younger [0:24:35] Dave Reilly generations? It could happen that way. [0:24:39] Rebecca Hargraves I mean, you could have, you could see the rise of a third party, but that's really very, very difficult to have happen. [0:24:44] Dave Reilly Uh, you could see apathy, you could see even nihilism if it gets that far. Um, but you're absolutely right. I think this report is completely gone, uh, in the younger generation for this. [0:24:54] Rebecca Hargraves And, uh, and that's like one of the few positive things I've seen in the last five years that [0:24:59] Dave Reilly it's happening, but the gene is out of the bottle. [0:25:01] Rebecca Hargraves You can't put it back in. [0:25:02] Dave Reilly Uh, what are they going to do? [0:25:03] Rebecca Hargraves They're not going to vote Republican. Young people are, they're not going to, you, you can sell everything to Larry Ellison, the Episode 81 [0:25:09] Dave Reilly entire world to Larry Ellison and have it rammed down their throat and they're not going [0:25:12] Rebecca Hargraves to buy it. [0:25:13] Dave Reilly Um, that's one of the few benefits, I guess. Uh, well, one of the several benefits of the internet generation is people just look it up. [0:25:20] Rebecca Hargraves You can look it up. It's probably why they want to control AI. So you can't just look it up, but young people, they're able to look it up and they're not going to buy it. [0:25:27] Dave Reilly So where are they going to go politically? [0:25:28] Rebecca Hargraves Uh, I don't know. [0:25:29] Cameron M I mean, I would be nice to see the Republican party with a Democrat party actually becoming [0:25:32] Rebecca Hargraves anti-war party, but both of them are so sclerotic. Uh, they're so, you know, full of parasites and, you know, all of these horrible, cruddy [0:25:40] Dave Reilly things that, who knows if they could ever be cleaned out? Hmm. Now, I see, uh, you have a tweet up here, gee, I wonder who runs paramount. Uh, and so that kind of, uh, segues a little bit into this Larry Ellison thing. They're going to be, I guess what, coming out with a fictionalized version of October 7th that they're what releasing tomorrow or something, um, you know, probably, obviously, there was no video of the Beheaded Babies because that did not happen. There was no video of mass rapes. That did not happen. These were all fabricated reports. And so now we've, of course, got this massive merger, the Chubby Lesbian, uh, what's her name? Barry Weiss. Oh, yeah. Right? Now, taking over CBS, uh, this giant merger deal with, uh, paramount, uh, the TikTok takeover, uh, that's happened. Um, do you think that, do you think that these Jews are going to be able to get the narrative back? Or do you think the cats out of the bag forever, where do you think we go from here? Because, you know, are we looking at censorship laws, hate speech laws, or, or has that boat sailed? Oh, it can get to that. I mean, it already is in a way. I mean, look, it's happening on college campuses. They tried to suppress speech by, you know, adopting this new definition of anti-Semitism, which includes criticism of Israel. And that's one of the interesting things that the, this new poll that came out showing the [0:27:04] Cameron M most American Jews are opposed to Israel, you know, as Max Blumon said, that means we're Episode 81 [0:27:09] Dave Reilly all into semis now, according to this new definition. [0:27:12] Rebecca Hargraves So they can't do that. Um, they, they, you know, you mentioned Boomer earlier, basically, uh, Israel's PR machine [0:27:17] Dave Reilly is a boomer based system. And even when they have young people doing it, I don't know if you saw this, this young [0:27:23] Rebecca Hargraves influencer, I'm going to give you a tour of, you know, of Bretton Brooks, uh, yacht that [0:27:29] Cameron M she was sailing on, you know, and it's, oh, there's narcotics here. [0:27:32] Rebecca Hargraves There was condoms here, you know, and it's like, woo, wow, what are they doing? [0:27:35] Dave Reilly And immediately it was ripped apart. [0:27:38] Rebecca Hargraves And now that we learned, thanks to our friends over at Responsible Statecraft, the $7,000 per post. [0:27:44] Dave Reilly Now that's become a meme in itself. And so anytime something pro-Israel is posted on X that's over the top, someone will throw in a meme saying, you got your $7,000 and so it's just a huge backlash now and they don't [0:27:56] Rebecca Hargraves know how to fix it. They can buy as much as they want, but they don't know how to fix it, you know, it's, it's [0:28:02] Dave Reilly gone. Yeah. No, and they're, they're also like, they're switching up, we've seen here in Idaho, we, we had this thing was it two weeks ago that happened, the 50 states won Israel conference. And uh, word is now coming out, uh, that this trip was actually paid by the Israeli foreign, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs directly. Like a lot of times they will have churches or some sort of nonprofit that will pay to bring legislators over. This is the first time that the state of Israel itself got legislators from every single state and brought them over. Uh, there's been some FOIA requests, I guess, that have come out about this, uh, showing that all of these different entities had to be registered as a foreign, uh, what is it called, uh, a foreign agent. And so anyway, these are some of these, they do it with media figures as Episode 81 well, Megan Kelly who has spent her life being a Zionist dude and has recently kind of rapidly come out against [0:28:59] Rebecca Hargraves Israel. [0:29:00] Dave Reilly I heard her say that, uh, she has never been invited kind of forcibly, forcibly to go [0:29:06] Rebecca Hargraves to Israel more than she has in the last six months to a year because people are just hounding her to get over there. I think they want the, you know, kiss the wall moment to just credit her because she's picking [0:29:16] Dave Reilly up steam. [0:29:17] Rebecca Hargraves Her career is, uh, very strong right now. [0:29:19] Dave Reilly Mm hmm. Do you have any offers? Is real. [0:29:22] Cameron M I was going to say they think about Israel bringing over these lawmakers that they're not paying [0:29:26] Dave Reilly for it. Even though we say they pay for it. We're paying for it. Right. You know, the US, US taxpayers paying for it because we give them, you know, especially these last few years after October seven, that seems kind of a big windfall for them because we've multiple, multiple times what we've been giving them. [0:29:41] Rebecca Hargraves We give them now. [0:29:42] Dave Reilly And you can say, yeah, but you don't give it directly to the Foreign Affairs Ministry to bring over lawmakers. But money is fungible. You know, all of that aid that we give them is fungible, they don't have to fund this so they can fund this. So we are at very least indirectly paying for our own lawmakers, American members of state houses to be propagandized. We're paying for them to be propagandized. And that, of course, is true on the federal level. The first thing that happens when you get elected to a federal office to the House of the Senate is you get your trip and, you know, Thomas Massey did a great interview with Tucker Carlson. A few months ago about that, you get your trip, you get to go there and you get a little thing that you have to sign and you have to do your homework and you have to have your APAC Minder. All of those things are very familiar to me in my, you know, 12 or so years on the hill. Episode 81 [0:30:29] Rebecca Hargraves It's just now that it's coming out and you can actually talk about it without having to shut up, you know, the days of Pat Buchanan, there's drummed out of polite society for saying that Capitol Hill is real occupied territory. [0:30:40] Dave Reilly That's pretty mild nowadays for what you can say. Yeah. Yeah. And I know the same thing is, the same treatment was given to Cynthia McKinney, you know, people have forgotten about her, man, she got thrown under the bus so hard, you know, and it's just incredible to see how vindicated she's been and obviously Dr. Paul, Pat Buchanan, I mean, it's painful to be an early adopter, though, and we should be grateful for their sacrifice. No, absolutely. I mean, it was, for me, it was actually, I think Ron Paul that actually kind of started to wake me up for this. Oh, me too. The 2012 re-love-lution thing that he was doing that was hugely impactful. And it's, it's actually funny, you know, having worked in politics and stuff like that, Ron Paul is kind of like a dog whistle. It's like, oh, you're, you're Ron Paul guy, you know, it's like, okay, and that comes with this whole series of like assumptions, which is great. [0:31:33] Rebecca Hargraves How do you think libertarianism, not necessarily philosophically, but with the group that associates [0:31:41] Dave Reilly itself with libertarianism, has changed especially over the last few years, because when I was [0:31:45] Rebecca Hargraves a libertarian in college, it was all about marijuana. It was just, we were into normal, and that's, and that was our cause, and we know, we hated the federal government, but we didn't really know very much about politics. [0:31:57] Dave Reilly And as millennials, that's, that's kind of the association. We did all of Ron Paul for, for various reasons, and he's been so important in my political evolution. [0:32:07] Rebecca Hargraves But over the last few years, I'm seeing a lot of Dave Smith style libertarians, and it seems [0:32:12] Dave Reilly like the movement has changed a lot in the last decade. Yeah, I mean, I, I came to Dr. Paul a lot earlier, I'm a previous generation. [0:32:22] Rebecca Hargraves I came in the late 90s because I was opposed to the US attack on Yugoslavia, and I recognized [0:32:29] Dave Reilly there was a member of Congress, who happened to be Republican, who was opposed to it as [0:32:33] Rebecca Hargraves Episode 81 well. [0:32:34] Dave Reilly But when I went to work for him, and I've told the story before, but he asked me if there's anything, because I really have never considered myself libertarian per se. But he asked me if there's anything one of his decisions that I didn't agree with, and I sort of came from the right. I said, yeah, I'm the drug stuff because I hate drugs, and I'm, you know, I'm for the drug [0:32:50] Rebecca Hargraves war. [0:32:51] Dave Reilly Just take your time, study it as much as you can. You're probably coming around to our view, which is true. And his view, as he said so many times, is he doesn't support using marijuana or heroin. He doesn't support using alcohol, but he doesn't think people should go to jail for doing it, you know. And so you can be morally opposed to something that you think is harmful, but if it's a victimless crime, then you don't want the government to put this person in a cage for five or 10 years, [0:33:19] Cameron M especially if you're a minority. [0:33:20] Dave Reilly If you get, you know, you could get caught with a, I don't know, maybe it's better now. [0:33:23] Rebecca Hargraves You get caught with a little bit of marijuana and you're black, boom, you're in for 20 years, [0:33:27] Dave Reilly or something, you know, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a serious issue. [0:33:31] Rebecca Hargraves So I think that has appealed to a lot of people. [0:33:33] Dave Reilly That's what, that was the appeal of libertarianism, but the question is, how has it changed? [0:33:37] Rebecca Hargraves I think it's also fractured. [0:33:38] Dave Reilly And you talk about like people like Dave Smith is a friend of mine, and he's gone more socially conservative. And the reason crowd has always stayed very socially liberal. But I think there are, just as with conservatives even in liberals, there are, and this is sort of the founding principle of the Rom-Paul Institute, we're not libertarian organization, we're an organization that brings together people and ideas Episode 81 from as many diverse places as possible to agree on, agree on a few basic things, you know, which is no U.S. Empire, no intervention overseas, protection of civil liberties at home. So we have, you know, just on our board, we have people like Dennis Cassini from the left. We have former representative John Duncan on the right. And everything in between, so I think there can be great coalitions of people as long [0:34:22] Rebecca Hargraves as, you know, we may have, you know, I have my personal views about abortion. That might not be appropriate for discussion with someone else who I want to work with on [0:34:30] Dave Reilly the anti-war issue. [0:34:31] Cameron M So we have to know when and where to have what kinds of conversations. [0:34:35] Rebecca Hargraves I have a hard time with that, I do, but I mean, the thing is it's like, can we get the CIA [0:34:45] Dave Reilly thrown in jail, please? Like that's who was doing all the drug trafficking in the 70s, the 80s, you know, for their, their black, black ops and all this stuff. So it's like, we're punishing people for using drugs, but we're like, using, we're using them to like fund CIA black ops to like kill Gary Webb. Like, come on, like this is, I don't know. I mean, I'm kind of torn on the whole thing, but it is interesting to see the young Americans for liberty. Now, have you been following them that the young Americans for liberty was actually a political pack that was started from what I understand, to kind of like support, Dr. Paul. And recently, let me see if I can pull up the tweet, recently they've been meddling here in Idaho. And it's been kind of problematic. Brian Lenny has a tweet out today, yeah, here it is. How do you feel about some of your Idaho legislators getting trained by Texas libertarians? And this is specifically in relationship to the young Americans for liberty who've been coming up in Idaho. And they've been not only supporting the drug marijuana legalization thing, but they've been attacking conservatives that are not pro-Israel enough. And they've been doing it under the guise of calling them a stab. Oh, you're establishment, you are, oh, you bought, you got donuts from the speaker of the house. And it's like, conspicuously, every single one of their targets isn't taking the trips to Israel, isn't putting forward hate speech laws and stuff like that. But then you get people like Barbara E. Hart, Josh Tanner, John Scherz, that are all taking the trip. And the young Americans for liberty are totally silent on that. So do you know anything about this group and how, what has happened there, were they taken over or something? [0:36:34] Cameron M Well, I don't know the specifics of their activities in Idaho, or really, or overall, really [0:36:40] Dave Reilly because they're more involved in campaigns and more and more involved in education, but [0:36:44] Rebecca Hargraves I know their origin was students for Ron Paul from his, I think, his 2012 run. Episode 81 [0:36:49] Dave Reilly Maybe it was the, oh, wait, run if I'm not mistaken. [0:36:52] Rebecca Hargraves But I just, I don't follow and I don't know enough about candidates anymore. [0:36:55] Dave Reilly I used to know everyone in the house, you know, by face and by name, but those days are gone. Certainly in state races. [0:37:02] Rebecca Hargraves I don't know very much about it. [0:37:04] Dave Reilly It's hard to know what the criteria is for it. [0:37:06] Cameron M I mean, I'm not a big fan of electoral politics. [0:37:10] Rebecca Hargraves To be honest with you, I haven't voted in a really long time, so hopefully that's not [0:37:16] Dave Reilly the case. Hopefully there's a better explanation. [0:37:18] Rebecca Hargraves I mean, if you get, if you get bought off by a bag of doughnuts, that's pretty sad. [0:37:22] Dave Reilly I'll take this, I'll take the seven grand from BB, you know, I do about 100 posts a day. So BB wants to give me seven grand per post. I might change my position for a couple of weeks and I'll go to confession. [0:37:35] Cameron M I said the same thing of like, I need a new deck. [0:37:39] Rebecca Hargraves I want to know where's our real money? [0:37:41] Dave Reilly Come on, man. [0:37:42] Rebecca Hargraves Episode 81 I know they wouldn't touch us with the 10-foot pole. I did have a few questions about free speech. So for years and years, all of us have been advocating for absolute unfettered free speech during the wake of this Charlie Kirk thing. [0:37:54] Dave Reilly I mean, Dave and I went on a personal campaign to get people fired for the Charlie Kirk thing. [0:38:01] Cameron M I think we got three. I did, yeah. [0:38:03] Rebecca Hargraves I think we got three. [0:38:04] Dave Reilly And so I was getting a lot of people in my DMs like, you claim to be for free speech, but [0:38:08] Rebecca Hargraves this is, this is so hypocritical, blah, blah, blah. Like, well, there are consequences for the outcomes of your speech. [0:38:15] Dave Reilly And I do believe that we're in a war and there should be retribution. [0:38:19] Rebecca Hargraves Do you have any opinions on this? [0:38:21] Dave Reilly Where do you draw the line between free speech? [0:38:23] Rebecca Hargraves I mean, I think we can all agree that the concept of hate speech does not exist. Right. [0:38:30] Cameron M Yeah, it doesn't. [0:38:31] Dave Reilly There are repercussions, I mean, for abusive speech, you know, you can't get fired from a job. You know, I mean, everyone approaches it their own way, I suppose. I wouldn't really try to get someone livelihood taking away from them because they said a knuckle [0:38:44] Cameron M head thing because that would probably mean about 80% of America would be out of work, you know. [0:38:50] Dave Reilly Episode 81 But you know, everyone approaches it their own way, but people did say some really astonishingly distasteful things, even if you didn't care for Charlie Kirk. [0:38:57] Rebecca Hargraves And I had a lot of problems with Charlie Kirk when I thought he was super pro is where real. [0:39:02] Dave Reilly That's true. And I said a lot of nasty things about him because I thought he was on the payroll and [0:39:06] Rebecca Hargraves turns out he kind of was, but he was kind of turning away. [0:39:09] Dave Reilly So, you know, it's there are repercussions and, you know, if you're especially, I mean, especially [0:39:14] Cameron M if you're like us, we're out there, you know, we're not hiding behind anonymity on X. [0:39:18] Dave Reilly And you know, so what if I were to say something, you know, really bringing discredit upon my [0:39:23] Rebecca Hargraves boss, whether it was in the house or now, you know, someone would find out and tell me, you know, come out. [0:39:29] Cameron M So, you know, just a question is how far you want to go in and everyone has to make [0:39:33] Dave Reilly that own decision on that. Yeah. [0:39:35] Rebecca Hargraves I want scouts. [0:39:36] Cameron M Yeah. [0:39:37] Dave Reilly I mean, I think, I mean, from where I'm coming from, I mean, when I got canceled, I got canceled in August of 2017. This was before, Covington Catholic happened. This was before the Tucker Carlson Fox News boycott. This was before cancel culture was even a word. [0:39:51] Rebecca Hargraves Episode 81 We have no help back then. [0:39:53] Dave Reilly People didn't even know. It's like, no, the newspaper called you a Nazi, you're a Nazi. And it's like, what planet am I living on? Hello. And so, you know, I, I remember when I had my radio show back in 17, I had to turn in my resignation in a fucking bulletproof vest. [0:40:11] Rebecca Hargraves That is so paranoid. [0:40:12] Dave Reilly That is crazy. I mean, there were news stations camped outside my house. They were camped outside the radio station. There was about 75 antifa bust in from Philly. [0:40:23] Rebecca Hargraves Wow. Nothing would happen now. [0:40:25] Dave Reilly Philly is happened today. No. There's stuff on Twitter now that's 100 times worse than whatever I said back in 2017. You know, I mean, I was, I was supporting Charlie Kirk back then. You know, I was like going up on Bloomsburg University posting the Professor Watchlist posters. See, okay, we had to deal with this in 2016. [0:40:45] Rebecca Hargraves I'm sure you got a lot of that too. [0:40:46] Dave Reilly We should have no mercy on these people. No mercy. [0:40:49] Rebecca Hargraves I want my scalps. [0:40:51] Dave Reilly I want my vengeance and I have a hard time. Once they come back, if they happen to get more power than they had last time, they're going to be 10 times as bad on you. [0:41:00] Rebecca Hargraves So I don't know. [0:41:01] Cameron M I don't know the answer. [0:41:02] Dave Reilly For me, I worry because the beast you unleash could certainly come back to bite you. Episode 81 [0:41:06] Rebecca Hargraves You know, that's true. But I'm not seeing any evidence that they are tempering their evil tendencies, irrespective of my behavior. I think that they're going to come after me 10 times harder no matter what I do. It's just the people that they are. They're relentless. [0:41:23] Dave Reilly Well, I guess my question is, like, what do you think about, so I mean, I think most people are getting to the point where they're finally recognizing that the Israel relationship is probably the most important issue that we have to deal with in America right now. But there is this kind of counter narrative about combating the left. So what are your thoughts on the left right fight that we have in this country? Do you think that that's something that we should bridge the gap on and try to find ways to unify with even liberals that we would disagree with, let's say, 90% of everything, but maybe they're correct on the Israel thing. Or do you think it's like a distraction, the left right fight, or do you think it's meaningful? Well, I think, as I mentioned earlier, I think tactical alliances are one way to go when there are ways that we can agree with people that we don't agree on everything else. [0:42:19] Rebecca Hargraves I really don't understand what the left right means anymore. [0:42:22] Dave Reilly It doesn't make much sense to me anymore. I mean, I was my first vote was for Ronald Reagan. That shows how long ago it was and it wasn't until Pat Pecanon opened my eyes in the mid-90s [0:42:37] Rebecca Hargraves that I realized that there was another Republican party. [0:42:40] Dave Reilly There's another kind of conservatism that was very, very different and then appealed to me in much, much, much more than the original or than the neo-con view. So what is the left and what is the right nowadays? [0:42:54] Rebecca Hargraves I don't know, for me, I've squared the circle by saying the only thing that I think will benefit us [0:42:58] Dave Reilly is if governments reach and strengthen is diminished. [0:43:02] Rebecca Hargraves And anything I can do to diminish that across the board in terms of culture, politics, economics, what have you, entertainment, news, and to prevent this pattern that we've had. [0:43:18] Dave Reilly It started to get very intense during COVID and it hasn't relented, which is the government [0:43:22] Rebecca Hargraves Episode 81 and the corporations getting it to bed together, and corporations willingly doing what governments [0:43:28] Dave Reilly are not allowed to do and doing it for government benefit. [0:43:31] Rebecca Hargraves And that's what we saw with TikTok. That's what we saw with the Twitter files when we found out that, [0:43:36] Dave Reilly oh, well Biden couldn't just cancel you, so he calls up his buddy Zuckerberg and says, hey, this guy is really questioning these shots. So you got to get rid of him. [0:43:45] Rebecca Hargraves So I worry about that. So I think the broader space we can carve out for personal liberty [0:43:54] Cameron M and to do what we wish, some of us, if we had the other half of our money and we didn't have the [0:43:58] Dave Reilly government breathing down our necks, we could spend more money and time on our religious attractions, things of that that are important to us. So we can do whatever we wish with those things, but I think the key is to to reduce the power of government. Yeah, now we're going to get to some of your super chats. Any questions that you have for Dan McAdams, please send them to the backlash.net slash super chat. We've already got a couple. I have a couple last, last minute questions that I'm thinking about, which is, what is your take? What is Dr. Paul's take on what we're seeing happening in Chicago, LA, Portland, with the ice facilities, the ice raids that seem to be happening. There's a lot of activity. I know Portland over the weekend, there was a detachment from Corte Lane that went out to Portland and started raising somehow. What's going on here is this like an attempt for the Trump administration to try to incite the left and to try and make like a mass scale riot or do you think that this is [0:45:04] Cameron M genuine and they're actually trying to try to crack. [0:45:06] Dave Reilly Yeah, because there's a lot of different competing things. I've seen a lot of corruption charges thrown around when talking about like the police in Portland or in LA. What's your take on this situation? Well, I mean, certainly, our founding fathers did not foresee having a federal army that could [0:45:27] Rebecca Hargraves be certainly deployed against the United States of America, citizens of the United States of America. [0:45:33] Dave Reilly So I think this is a massive overreach. It's an unconstitutional overreach. I mean, Patrick Henry himself. And there's a great piece by Ryan MacMacon on the Mason Institute website. That was how I think a couple of days ago about this problem that we have. Now, the problem that makes it sticky for us, we Episode 81 talked about this today on our Liberty show, [0:45:50] Rebecca Hargraves Liberty Report show, is that a lot of people on the right that we sympathize with. [0:45:54] Dave Reilly I mean, when I saw what was happening in Portland and I saw these antifa guys getting cracked over the head. I was like, yes, bring my son in here. Take a look at this. [0:46:02] Rebecca Hargraves It's awesome. Replay, replay, replay. So when they burned down the town with this, this Floyd fellow, it's terrible. [0:46:12] Dave Reilly But I also think it was meant, part of it, that emotional response that elicit in us is now being used against us to accept, to normalize the idea that you can have federal, you can have military. He owes the Department of War, not just national guard, but a federal standing army that could be deployed against Americans wherever he wishes. And I think that's an extraordinarily dangerous thing. And I was actually, I mentioned this on the show. My good friend, Judge Andrew Napolitano had one of [0:46:43] Rebecca Hargraves that I think the most astute observers, Aleister Krueck on his show today, as we speak. And they discussing this craze speech that Stephen Miller gave, and sort of a lot of memes [0:46:55] Dave Reilly on her on X, like they put it in German and say, it sounds better than the original. [0:46:59] Rebecca Hargraves That was funny. [0:47:01] Dave Reilly But when Aleister Krueck, who was in British, he was a British diplomat in the Middle East, and that was back in the day when you spoke all the languages that you were representing, etc., etc. But he made a very interesting point and he said, this is sort of the Israelification of the United States, because Israel doesn't have a federalist society. They don't have a separation of the military and sort of a civil police force. Everything is all put together. And it's always [0:47:28] Rebecca Hargraves like, let's get out of this, right? It's like, if you're not with us, we will destroy you. [0:47:34] Dave Reilly And that's what we're saying. So I think that's a real danger. We're adopting this mindset. And it's probably a propaganda. It's probably a side up being used against us to accept the Israelification of our society, even if rejecting it has some downsides, downsides, which of course it does. You're not going to see me praising Antifa on the contrary. In fact, I mean, I went to UC Berkeley when I signed Tifa going on campus and attacking the free speech people on Berkeley, Episode 81 [0:48:01] Rebecca Hargraves I thought, these guys lost the plot. So it's a very complicated thing. [0:48:06] Dave Reilly Yeah, no, there's a couple of things that I wanted to mention. I just forgot one. I'm remembering the first one that I mentioned, which was that the 2020 riots, I don't think we have the full read out or transparency over what happened there. There's a big part of me that is extremely suspicious about things like, was it chop or chas or whatever they called it? These riots, these places that were burning down, this was happening in opportunity zones. Almost nine times out of ten. They were these federal opportunity zones where developers and real estate moguls can get a crap ton of federal money to build new things, to build businesses, to build new new skyscrapers and whatnot. And it was just like, wait a minute, are they using Antifa to devalue these neighborhoods so that vulture capitalists can swoop in, buy up the property? So it's not about George Floyd. This is a real estate play disguised as revolutionary activity basically. And so I just wanted to point that out. I don't know if you'd heard of it. That's a great point. I've heard some of [0:49:12] Rebecca Hargraves that. That's a great point. The Larry Ellison's of the world swoop in and there you go. You can no longer [0:49:17] Dave Reilly buy a house. You can have the leisure house. Yeah. Well, and relating back to that, you talk about this is railification of the United States. Where did the knee on the neck thing come from in the first place? I don't think we've ever really talked about that on this show. The whole knee on the neck [0:49:31] Rebecca Hargraves that George that supposedly killed George Floyd. He died of a drug overdose. Maybe they'll listen [0:49:36] Dave Reilly now. But the knee on the neck thing, that was taught to American law enforcement by Israel. You know, we've talked about that on this program a lot. How Israel trains a lot of our FBI or sheriff's departments. There's our local sheriff's department. Jinsa, the Jewish intelligence, national security, whatever, blah, blah, blah. Jinsa. But there's also this kind of element happening where you know, I would imagine I wasn't alive back then. But I would imagine that like back in the 1950s, you know, you would have people that grow up in a town. They want to be a cop. They want to protect and serve their community. They graduate high school. They go to the academy. They become police. They live in their town. They, you know, swing around a beat stick. You know what I mean? They walk up and down Main Street. Nowadays we have this kind of, uh, israelisization that's happening. I guess where we're getting some of the most brutal people from like, I don't know, New York or Philly that then move to these rural towns and they become cops there. They have no ties to the community. They don't give a shit. They just want to crack skulls. And the same kind of thing happens in Israel where these Americans get propagandized through, you know, the Jewish defense league or Baytar or the Canary mission. They think that it's like some existential crisis. They leave. They go to Israel. They have no connection to the people there. Uh, no background. And they just start cracking skulls, shooting kids in the back of the head, uh, and doing all kinds of stuff. So I think it's a, it's a great [0:51:03] Rebecca Hargraves Episode 81 point, uh, that you make. Yeah. A lot of that started with the militarization of the police, the federal government using giving out, uh, surplus, uh, tanks like you got, like, I think, I mean, [0:51:14] Dave Reilly maybe I'm remembering wrong, but I live in a small town like Jackson. I think they got a tank, like what? Yeah. Yeah. The bear problem here is like people being drunk and running red lights. A tank is not going to help you with that. Yeah. I remember when we had those, um, in, in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, we had this big block party thing that would happen at the university. And every year, all the kids would get together and they go drink in on light street. And I remember it was like two thousand three, maybe maybe like two thousand five. They like rolled up in a fucking bear cat wearing bulletproof and armor. And they like rolled up on this giant college party and started shooting canisters of tear gas. Why? And it's like, it's drunk college kids. You don't need a tank to take on drunk college kids. What's wrong with you people? And, uh, anyway, government overreach, [0:52:06] Rebecca Hargraves if you are amenable to it, we do have a few audience audience questions. Yes. Sure. I've got a couple [0:52:11] Dave Reilly minutes. Let's see if you got book track groups and 10 dollars. Daniel McAdams, do you believe Monarchy is returning meaning many kings? Have you ridden a horse? Have you spoken to Cory Moller? [0:52:24] Rebecca Hargraves I should have read that before. I don't know who Cory Moller is. I wrote a horse when I was 12. [0:52:31] Dave Reilly And I got, um, and yeah, I, I'm philosophically a mom, I'm a pro monarchy person. Interesting. [0:52:37] Rebecca Hargraves That comes from my interest in the half spurgs, but also from reading Hans Sermon Hoppe about [0:52:44] Dave Reilly monarchism being a better form of government than democracy. But do I think it will return anywhere? Unfortunately, the people from all the noble families in Europe are all, for the most part, brain dead now. So I wouldn't want them to return. That probably was always the case. So it's sort of a pie in the sky idea. But the idea that you pass down the realm to your progeny means [0:53:05] Rebecca Hargraves that you're going to do your best not to screw it up. You know, you're not going to have a prolific expender. You're not going to start stupid wars. Now, it has happened in history, but there's also [0:53:15] Dave Reilly the chance that you will be killed by your people, you know, regicide is throughout history. So, you know, I think you're going to protect these knuckleheads get elected for two years in Congress. What's their incentive? Get as much as you can before you are voted out, man. You know, do as much as you can. But if you're going to, if you're responsible for giving this, this, this title to your children, you're Episode 81 going to try to preserve it as much as you can. Yeah, no, I think, I agree. We were actually, we went through a phase here in Cootney County where the local Zionist church was accusing everyone that they really thought was anti-Semitic. They were accusing them of you're a monarchist because they wanted any excuse other than calling an anti-Semite, you know, [0:54:01] Cameron M and so. And by the way, I watched, I don't know if you saw, but that little video that I did, [0:54:05] Dave Reilly which I think I'm going to post on all of our Spotify and like our actual podcast things, has angered the local Zionist church so much that they spent Wednesday night talking about me and [0:54:17] Rebecca Hargraves the little podcast that I did in Sunday. Oh, great. So, we got a two for one, and they are now at the [0:54:21] Dave Reilly point where they have lost the plot so much. They're like, yeah, the Jews are evil and they're anti-Christ and they're blind and they're wrong and they're into gay stuff. But if you don't support [0:54:31] Rebecca Hargraves them, you're an anti-Semite. Wow. That's where we're at, right? That's the evangelical position. [0:54:35] Dave Reilly Unbelievable. Okay. Queensborough, bridge and joy are sent $10. As Colonel McGregor said, Ron Paul led the way and we are all just following along. By we, I mean, anyone discussing Neocons, Israeli control of DC, the Fed, Big Brother, Spying and Foreign Wars. Dr. Paul was a lone voice in the wilderness for decades on these issues, influencing millions. Long live the Ron Paul Institute. And he sent a second super chat saying Daniel is correct during the ratification debate. It was promised that the Supreme Court would not rule on state law. The Supreme Court gave itself that authority over the years with one terrible decision after another. There is no going back to something that has been broken for so long. Thoughts? Yeah, well, you know, Dr. Paul often says it, [0:55:21] Rebecca Hargraves you know, it may be the absolute monetary collapse that will cause us to recalibrate our system. [0:55:28] Dave Reilly He says he hopes it won't happen that people will wake up and see. And he believes that people are waking up, even on some of the issues that we've talked about are waking up and seeing the light. But at the end of the day, it does look more and more like, and this is what Colonel McGregor says quite often as well. It looks like an absolutely economic catastrophe will be the only thing that makes Americans wake up and say, hey, we can't sustain $37 trillion in debt. We can't spend [0:55:51] Cameron M trillions of dollars just servicing our debt. You know, I mean, I don't know about you guys when [0:55:56] Rebecca Hargraves Episode 81 I went to college, I got my first credit card. And I was like, yes, this is awesome. And I started [0:56:01] Dave Reilly charging cool stuff, like some cool boots, you know, and then all of a sudden, I got the bill. And I was like, oh, crap. This is no fun at all. So our nation is like that on steroids. Oh, yes. All right. Well, we've got some other super chats, but I don't think any of them rise to the level of dignity of actually asking, asking you, we will be reading all of the super chats in just a moment. We've also got some ads. And we're not going to subject you to those, but please tell everybody where they can find you, follow you and your work. Sure. Well, [0:56:33] Rebecca Hargraves the most important thing is that Ron Paul Institute dot org. We publish two or three articles every [0:56:38] Dave Reilly day that we curate and think that these are the things you should be reading. So we don't take [0:56:43] Rebecca Hargraves too much of your time, but these are things that I read closely as well. Daily Monday through Friday, [0:56:48] Dave Reilly we do the Ron Paul Liberty report live at noon. For the moment, we're live on rumble. We make go [0:56:54] Rebecca Hargraves back to YouTube. That's another story. And also the Ron Paul Institute, one of the things we do as we mentioned to the show is bring people together. We have conferences. We do two or three of them a year. [0:57:04] Dave Reilly We just finished one. Our DC conference is usually in the summer. It was a massive success. We had [0:57:10] Rebecca Hargraves Colonel McGregor was there. We had Professor Jeffrey Sacks there. We had that [0:57:14] Dave Reilly experiment all there. You know, it was a tremendous event, but also not just the speakers, but for people getting together and getting to know each other. Guys, I think this is one way we can defeat the monster and the machine out there is we have to get to know each other in a sort of a non digital way. We have to go back to the analog world where you know someone and you can trust someone. That's what we try to do. Building communities is what we try to do through our conferences. [0:57:41] Rebecca Hargraves That's awesome. And don't forget you can follow him on ex at Daniel L. McAdams. [0:57:47] Dave Reilly Episode 81 Thank you so much for joining us. This was great. We really appreciate the time. Thank you. You have a nice day. Thank you so much. Thank you. Okay. All right. That was great. See, I told you it would be a good guest. Of course. Oh, man. That was great. I really, the Ron Paul guys have come along such a such a far way from from the old days. It's really great. And it's also nice to see that they're not swatting down. You know, like so many of these people heritage foundation, all these different, you know, think tanks and you know, they they look at people like us and they're like, get the fuck out of here. Shut up. You're extreme. It's blah blah blah. Not Ron Paul. Yeah. Love them. Always love Ron Paul. He also remember Vince was talking about when I guess he went to visit him once in Texas and he had a giant picture of the USS Liberty hung up in his office. Seriously? Yeah. You didn't know that. Fantastic. Yeah. Very good. All right. We've got a couple of super chats. Some of them I just couldn't I just couldn't read. I just don't understand this one. Man, I love you so much. Book track groups for $10. Daniel McAdams. Do you think we can build colleges from scratch for us? Weed is liberal. Tobacco is based engineer. Odds anyone that continues to use Weed does not go well. I know a guy that grows. Okay. I understand that perfectly. I don't. Smoking weed is a leftist. It's a leftist thing to do. Yes. It destroys your motivation. You just [0:59:15] Rebecca Hargraves want to listen to music and do nothing all the time. And we've said it before. nicotine is the right wing drug. Get yours at mickknack.com. They do not sponsor a stop it. When I get done with them, Dave want sponsors so much that he'll just start hawking products that like we have no association [0:59:36] Dave Reilly with, like hoping that they'll see it and be like, Oh, yeah, we'll sponsor you. Look at how sweaty I look right now. Why are you so I don't know. We're doing this weird like the interim thing we're relieving summer. We're going into like the fall. It's cold outside, but I'm like internally hot. And so I'm just like sweating. And then I get cold. And it's I'm set up before and I'll say it again. I hate Italians. Hey, watch it. Watch it. The wing and us are sent $20. Love the show in great guest. Thank you so much. Thank you for the big Super Check Gladius. I forgot to mention that you guys. My [1:00:07] Rebecca Hargraves YouTube channel got monetized. You can send super. I cannot even believe it. How do we? It makes me think that Dave actually is a fed because how did this happen? I got demonetized like a few months into my [1:00:23] Dave Reilly YouTube channel that I started in January 2016. I just applied for an appeal or I just appealed. [1:00:30] Rebecca Hargraves That's redundant, right? Applying for an appeal. Yeah, it is redundant. I appealed. I don't know on a whim. And I was in progress for three and a half months. And I was like, this is never going to go [1:00:39] Dave Reilly anywhere. And then I get an email. You have been approved for YouTube partners. Now, I don't want you guys to get used to it because this is not going to last long because I have no interest in not saying things that are going to get me demonetized. We're going to do what we do. We're going to keep doing exactly what we're going to do. I had my handlers at CIA put in a good word for you. I know. Yeah. [1:01:01] Rebecca Hargraves Episode 81 I know that's what's going on here. And I kind of don't care. If you guys want to send super [1:01:06] Dave Reilly chats to my YouTube channel, you can. Please do. I also work for the FSB and I'm paid by [1:01:17] Rebecca Hargraves Qatar and Iran. Oh, okay. How does that all of them? I do all of them. They all give you the money. Yeah. I'm like a super fed. $7,000 per post. No, I don't have the Israel sponsorship yet. [1:01:29] Dave Reilly What's the point then, man? I don't know. I don't know. Gladius five sent five dollars. But whether the constitution really be one thing or another, this much is certain, it has either authorized such a government as we have had or been powerless to stop it. In either case, it's unfit to exist. Lysander Spooner. That's a great. Who's that? If you guys do not listen to the great legal man at US Crime Review on Twitter, he has done a Spooner, but an infinity part Spooner breakdown [1:02:03] Rebecca Hargraves on his podcast, The Quash, that is excellent. Please check out legal man. I'm going to try to get him on. I think that'd be good. I've never talked to him. Oh, he's just he's just the best. Yeah. [1:02:12] Dave Reilly Did you do the interview with him at my house? Yeah. That was like three or four years ago. It wasn't really. It was after I had a baby. Yeah. I think it was after you had the first one. Then it was five years ago. That was a long time ago. Geez. Wow. How the time [1:02:26] Rebecca Hargraves flies. We're getting old. This is not good. Do we have any super chats that I missed on YouTube? [1:02:33] Dave Reilly I don't think we do, but I guess you have a moment to send in any last minute super chats. Well, we talk about the end of the economy. It's bad. It's not good. Gold, of course, is up today. $65. Holy shit. Seriously? Yeah. We're going to be hitting $4,000 on gold [1:02:52] Cameron M probably by like the end of today at the rate that we're going. Silver, $48. [1:02:59] Dave Reilly It's crazy. Let me pull up the where's the chart? Where's the chart? Look at this thing. This is just out of control. That's the two-year Bitcoin. Don't talk about it. Don't be afraid of dead air. No, I keep worrying that I'm [1:07:05] Rebecca Hargraves going to see a kid fall over the railing. Yeah. Ryan Hart sent $10 that I missed. I've come to [1:07:12] Dave Reilly the conclusion over the years that all of my core principles are both hierarchical and conditional. If adherence to a certain principle threatens something higher in my value system, like family or honor, then I will violate it when necessary. That is the way to be. Yeah. That sounds logical to me. That is exactly. Ryan Hart is so insightful. I can't read that one. We're not hooked up [1:07:36] Rebecca Hargraves to your YouTube. So you've got to read your. Oh, Thunderstorm said all European countries are occupied. That includes Russia left right as a Skinner box. P.S. I like the glass pumpkin. I thought he was saying I like your glasses pumpkin. But that's he's talking the glass pumpkin. Yeah. No, Dan. [1:07:52] Dave Reilly I'm actually posted about this earlier today. Didn't he? Where did it go? [1:07:58] Rebecca Hargraves Thunderstorm. That is the first super chat I've had on my channel ever because I got banned. Yeah, [1:08:05] Dave Reilly look right here before super chats. One hour ago. Right before this is like what he tweeted right before going on our show. Disappointing. Putin and Israel's Netanyahu just held a phone call. They discussed the Trump Gaza plan talked stabilizing Syria and a negotiated solution to Iran's nuclear program. Netanyahu wished Putin on the eve of his birthday. Yeah. There is a Rousseau Israeli thing. Hobad. I think we can just put one word on it. Hobad exists. It's a problem. Hobad. Hobad. And yeah, it's going to be so interesting to see what happens over the next 48 hours. Yeah. Whether there's some sort of false flag or just the sheer propaganda campaign that happens. But this October 7th stuff is going to be big over the next 24 to 48 hours. Probably going to do a big show. Like nothing you've ever seen before. [1:09:08] Rebecca Hargraves Good. We got to catch some viral topic because our show last week is doing terribly. [1:09:12] Dave Reilly Really? Which one? We did three. Oh, the Wednesday show is actually doing the worst. [1:09:16] Rebecca Hargraves Really? That's odd. Oh, I got a sneeze coming. Do we got more? Cook said I like your glasses, pumpkin. Ha, nice. Will it into it? I appreciate that. All right.
