[0:03:27] This is going to be big.
[0:03:29] This is going to be huge.
[0:03:30] So over the weekend, a once in a two-year event occurred.
[0:03:35] That is the Idaho GOP State Convention.
[0:03:39] So not to belabor the point, but just so everybody's aware.
[0:03:43] I know like people get involved in politics for all different kinds of reasons.
[0:03:46] and you don't always know or understand the actual mechanics of how party politics works.
[0:03:53] So over the past several months, we have been tracking these precinct committeeman races here all over the state of Idaho.
[0:04:00] There are thousands of precinct committeemen.
[0:04:02] There are these county central committees of which the precinct committeemen sit on the county central committee.
[0:04:09] Then the county central committee chooses their leadership, the chairman, vice chair, the state committee man, state committee woman, and all of those people go together to form the Idaho state GOP central committee.
[0:04:24] That's like 100 people or so, I think, that sit on that. But every two years after an election, there is something called the GOP State Convention where these precinct committeemen that we voted on choose delegates to go to Boise or wherever they hold the state convention.
[0:04:48] And all of these delegates go down to vote on various things such as the platform, the rules of the Republican Party, and also the resolutions, as well as choosing the leadership, the chair, vice chair, first vice chair, second vice chair, the treasurer, secretary, and all of that.
[0:05:09] So it does have a very profound impact on politics in Idaho, especially because Idaho is essentially a one-party state.
[0:05:16] 70% of Idahoans are registered Republicans. So the Republican Party means a lot. It's not like
[0:05:25] it's a 50-50 toss-up, and it's not like the Democrats are going to be getting anybody elected
[0:05:30] to statewide office ever. So in order to engage in politics, you have to engage in party politics,
[0:05:36] namely the Republican Party. So this is a very consequential meeting. It's very
[0:05:40] important. And this year was unbelievable for several reasons. Number one, just, you know,
[0:05:49] I want to say that I was blown away with all of the interactions that I have with people.
[0:05:56] Everybody was so nice. Everybody was helping one another and cooperative with one another.
[0:06:02] There's some here. I got some photos. This was from the very first day. I was able to sneak up
[0:06:07] on stage and get a couple of photos. This was the, um, rules committee. That was a photo from
[0:06:13] the rules committee. This is a photo from the resolutions committee. Uh, and so lots of people
[0:06:19] that came down, I think overall there was about 605 delegates to the GOP convention that came from
[0:06:26] all over the state of Idaho. And it was just, you know, like in years past, there was a lot of
[0:06:31] infighting. There's a lot of bickering and bitching in the hallways. There's scenes that happen
[0:06:36] everywhere of, you know, people acting like children. And that was really at a minimum this
[0:06:40] time. I was really surprised about that. I thought that this would have been a lot more contentious.
[0:06:44] I thought there was a lot more or would have been a lot more vitriol, but there wasn't.
[0:06:48] Everybody was happy and smiling and just a pleasure to be around. And so I think that was
[0:06:55] a real change, especially from where the party was six years ago when Tom Luna was in charge.
[0:07:00] It was very contentious. It was there was not a lot of goodwill. People were very upset with the direction of the Idaho Republican Party.
[0:07:10] And so now here we are six years after Dorothy Moon's grassroots revolution. And things are really, really changing up here, I think, for the better.
[0:07:20] And so, yeah, so here's another photo.
[0:07:23] This was the board or the chairman, vice chairman, secretary of the platform committee.
[0:07:31] And of course, we'll be getting into that because there was a lot to do with the platform,
[0:07:35] a lot of misinformation that was also out there that somehow the Republican Party was
[0:07:39] weakening its stance on gun rights, that it was weakening its stance on all of these different
[0:07:43] things.
[0:07:43] And of course, none of that was true.
[0:07:45] But we'll get into that.
[0:07:47] But first, obviously, the biggest thing that we should cover is, well, I guess there's a couple of things that we should cover.
[0:07:58] Obviously, Dorothy Moon being reelected chairwoman for the third go.
[0:08:04] That's a pretty big deal.
[0:08:06] This hasn't happened since, I believe, the 1980s that a chair of the Republican Party has been reelected three times.
[0:08:15] And this, of course, comes from Brent Regan, who says that he has served under six state
[0:08:19] chairmen and Dorothy Moon is the hardest working and most engaged.
[0:08:23] This picture was taken after her winning her third term.
[0:08:26] Congratulations to Dorothy Moon.
[0:08:29] Of course, here she is with some volunteers holding up some of these moon pies.
[0:08:34] But yeah, it's incredible.
[0:08:37] Actually, here's what we'll do.
[0:08:38] We're going to start with the Grok readout because it's actually quite accurate.
[0:08:43] But I don't know how it knows what it knows, but it knows everything that happened, and it's totally accurate, actually.
[0:08:50] So we're going to give some shout-outs to Elon Musk's grok, and we'll read through the summary of what happened.
[0:08:57] So let's take a look here.
[0:09:00] Sorry, I've got dry mouth.
[0:09:03] Jeez, I've been smoking this pipe and just got out of the sauna, so I am depleted of hydration.
[0:09:13] Anyway, okay, so Grok says the 2026 Idaho GOP State Convention took place June 18th through 20th at Capitol Church in Meridian, Idaho.
[0:09:22] It was a standard biennial gathering for delegates to celebrate.
[0:09:26] Candidates consider resolutions, adopt platform elements, and elect party officers.
[0:09:30] On Saturday, they had their leadership vote.
[0:09:34] Delegates re-elected Dorothy Moon as the state chair for a third term.
[0:09:39] This is the first such occurrence since the early 1980s.
[0:09:43] And it was a three-way race, which is pretty incredible as well.
[0:09:47] Dorothy received 306 votes.
[0:09:49] That's 51.4% of the vote, just enough for a majority,
[0:09:54] because in order to elect the chair, it has to be 50% plus one.
[0:09:58] So with this three-way race, it could have very easily gotten tied up.
[0:10:03] Somebody might not have received over 50% of the vote,
[0:10:07] and we would have had to go back and done a runoff, basically.
[0:10:11] So it was pretty incredible the fact that this went with just one round of balloting.
[0:10:17] That was remarkable, actually.
[0:10:19] A lot of people thought that this was going to be a lot closer than it was.
[0:10:22] There was a lot of people agitating against Dorothy Moon, calling her all kinds of names.
[0:10:27] And it's, you know, one of the things that was brought up over the weekend is, oh, well, Dorothy Moon is bad at fundraising.
[0:10:34] Dorothy Moon hasn't raised enough money. Dorothy Moon, blah, blah, blah.
[0:10:37] Well, listen, Dorothy Moon represents the grassroots here in Idaho.
[0:10:43] She doesn't represent the donor class.
[0:10:45] She doesn't represent the corporations.
[0:10:47] She doesn't represent IACI.
[0:10:49] She represents us.
[0:10:50] That's what's important.
[0:10:52] And so what happens when a grassroots conservative gets elected to chair?
[0:10:58] Well, all the big wealthy donors start withholding their donations.
[0:11:02] and then they're sending their lackeys
[0:11:05] and their little lapdogs out
[0:11:07] to call Dorothy Moon a bad fundraiser.
[0:11:09] No, you just aren't donating to the party
[0:11:12] because you aren't able to control it anymore.
[0:11:16] That's what's really going on.
[0:11:18] And so I thought it was pretty easy
[0:11:20] to see past all of that.
[0:11:21] Some people might've been confused,
[0:11:23] but that's what's going on.
[0:11:25] The wealthy billionaire class here in Idaho,
[0:11:28] I'm looking at you, Frank Vandersloot, right?
[0:11:31] He's a billionaire down from southeastern Idaho.
[0:11:34] He has not been contributing.
[0:11:37] He has not been donating to the party.
[0:11:39] And then all of these lobbyists, Greg Graff, Dustin Hurst, Maria Nate, Heather Lauer,
[0:11:47] all of these lobbyists that get paid money to work in politics,
[0:11:51] start ragging on Dorothy for not being a good fundraiser.
[0:11:54] Well, why don't they tell their bosses to send some money to the party, huh?
[0:11:57] Anyway, so there was a kerfuffle, kerfuffle. I don't know how Candace Owens says that these days, but there was this three-way race, okay? And so this was between Steve Thain and Mark Fuller.
[0:12:12] Now Mark Fuller, just so that you guys know, he's fairly conservative.
[0:12:19] He's been a big voice down in southeastern Idaho.
[0:12:24] But he is also the person that continually introduces these resolutions supporting Israel.
[0:12:31] He's done it.
[0:12:32] This is probably the first year that he hasn't done it since I've lived in Idaho.
[0:12:37] So he is a super Zionist.
[0:12:41] He is also a Mormon.
[0:12:43] We love our Mormons, of course, here in Idaho.
[0:12:46] We got a lot of them, about 30% of the state.
[0:12:49] But he aligned himself with this clique,
[0:12:52] with this clique of lobbyists
[0:12:53] and people like Dustin Hurst and Maria Nate,
[0:12:57] these very divisive people
[0:12:59] that have been engaging in infighting for a long time.
[0:13:03] And, well, they got totally shut out.
[0:13:07] It was the same kind of thing that we saw here in Kootenai County when the Central Committee was split after this past election.
[0:13:15] You'll remember it was split.
[0:13:17] About 50 percent of the people that got on the local KCRCC Central Committee were Freedom Caucus people, liberty-minded Tea Party types.
[0:13:27] The other 50 percent that got on the Central Committee were what we would call rhinos, or at least what we have called rhinos in the past.
[0:13:34] and then there was a very small fraction of people that were hyper Zionists that all they care about
[0:13:42] is Israel and all they care about is foreign policy well here in Kootenai County the rhinos
[0:13:49] and the freedom people kind of looked at each other and then they looked at the Zionist faction
[0:13:54] and they were like these people are divisive they're hateful all they do is criticize and
[0:14:00] critique. They don't help. They're not going out door knocking. They're not trying to keep
[0:14:07] temperatures low. They're not trying to make it easy for people to work together. You see what I
[0:14:11] mean? And so this is what happened again. It's a second confirmation that we are done
[0:14:19] here in Idaho with arguing about meaningless crap. We want to put Idaho first. And we're
[0:14:26] going to get into that more because it gets juicier. It gets even juicier. So the other
[0:14:32] results that came in for state party leadership are as follows, of course. For first, vice chair,
[0:14:39] incumbent Vicky Purdy defeated former state senator Brandon Durst in a landslide, 497 to 91.
[0:14:48] Second vice chair, Representative Julianne Young, was appointed by acclamation, which means nobody
[0:14:55] even ran against her. Nobody objected. She just got it. She was nominated. Boom, right in. Imagine
[0:15:01] how much time we could have saved, by the way, if all the other races were like that, instead of
[0:15:07] having to vote and tally it out. It took several hours to do that, by the way. So anyway, then for
[0:15:13] treasure race, we have a nice lady, Sandra Eaton, who has a huge background in finance and accounting,
[0:15:21] defeated Greg Graff, big time libtard, big time corrupt guy. And so then also for secretary,
[0:15:33] Kootenai County's own Carla Matare defeated Kelly Palm. And I mean, this is getting really
[0:15:42] into the weeds here, but Kelly Palm is a first class bitch. Absolutely. Pardon my French,
[0:15:49] but it's true. A year ago, a year and a half ago, she accused Todd Banducci of murdering his wife
[0:15:56] in the committee and got kicked out because that's egregious. That's defamation. It's disgusting.
[0:16:04] And so anyway, I don't know how, but Kelly Palm weaseled her way back in and tried running for
[0:16:11] secretary and was soundly, soundly defeated by Carla Matare. So bravo to all of them. Of course,
[0:16:15] this, uh, this means that this is, I think for the first time in Idaho history,
[0:16:22] we have an all woman led Republican party.
[0:16:30] It's an all woman led Republican party. So we'll see how that works out. Of course, um,
[0:16:37] I'll be doing what I can. We'll all be pitching. Hopefully everybody's pitching in
[0:16:41] to make sure that these women are successful.
[0:16:44] But it is kind of ironic in a great way
[0:16:47] because the big issues that we have to deal with here in Idaho
[0:16:51] over the next year and a half are immigration and abortion.
[0:16:57] And I hate the fact that we're still arguing about abortion here in 2026,
[0:17:03] but the liberals have something called a ballot initiative
[0:17:06] where they've gone around the state and collected signatures
[0:17:09] so that the people can decide if they want to have abortion in the state of Idaho.
[0:17:15] Well, you know, you know, the Democrats, they're going to say, oh, it's all men.
[0:17:19] It's all these men, these evil white men that are forcing us to have children, blah, blah, blah.
[0:17:25] Okay, well, explain that. Explain that to the women in charge. Okay. Explain it to the women.
[0:17:33] All of these women are pro-life.
[0:17:34] They're all anti-abortion.
[0:17:37] So we're not going to be hearing any of this nonsense about, oh, men shouldn't be choosing
[0:17:43] what women do with their bodies.
[0:17:45] Okay, cool.
[0:17:46] Well, enjoy.
[0:17:47] Enjoy your leadership that are all women.
[0:17:50] So these guys, I think, are screwed when it comes to the abortion initiative.
[0:18:00] Also, another big thing that we're dealing with here in Idaho, of course, is illegal immigration.
[0:18:05] Now, two of the people on the Central Committee, on the leadership of the Central Committee, are themselves immigrants.
[0:18:14] Of course, I'm talking about Carla Matare and Sandra Eaton.
[0:18:19] Both of these people came to this country looking for a better life, and they came here legally.
[0:18:24] so i just can't wait to see what the left does where they're trying to argue that oh the
[0:18:33] republican party they're a bunch of white supremacist nazis and by the way it's all
[0:18:39] it's all women and like half of them are immigrants
[0:18:41] so good luck good luck with that so um that is a brief update at least as far as the
[0:18:51] leadership is concerned. Let's go back to Grok. Now, according to Grok, we have resolutions and
[0:18:58] platform, right? Delegates advanced or adopted various resolutions focused on Idaho priorities,
[0:19:04] such as voter integrity, property taxes, opposing certain public asset transfers related to disputes
[0:19:13] like the Ford Idaho Center, right? This is giving away public property that had been paid for by
[0:19:20] taxpayer dollars. They want to put limits on that. There are also limits on endorsements,
[0:19:25] meaning that like if if you're like obviously like a Democrat or if you've been a registered
[0:19:29] Democrat within the last 12 months and then register as a Republican and file to run for
[0:19:33] office, now the Republican Party is going to be able to say you aren't actually a Republican.
[0:19:38] You aren't allowed to run as a Republican and they can strip their party membership,
[0:19:42] which is very important. Very good thing to do, especially in states like Idaho,
[0:19:46] where we have something called crossover voting, which is where generally progressive Democrats
[0:19:51] register as Republicans because it's a one party state and they want to have some sort of say in
[0:19:57] politics. So they register as Republican. Anyway, some of these rules and resolutions that we
[0:20:03] adopted were specifically to combat that. Now, notably, the Idaho GOP rejected a pro-Israel
[0:20:12] resolution. And this is, of course, the big news. Resolution 2026-11, supporting Israel's right to
[0:20:19] exist in condemning Hamas. State Senator Brian Lenny moved to strike it, arguing it was not
[0:20:25] germane to the Idaho GOP business and that the party should focus on domestic and America first
[0:20:30] priorities. The motion passed overwhelmingly, with 80% in favor of removal. This marked a
[0:20:37] departure from prior conventions and drew attention as they shift away from routine
[0:20:41] foreign policy statements. So this is of course the big meat, the big juice, the big squeeze of
[0:20:48] what we're going to be talking about today. Uh, it went incredibly, incredibly viral,
[0:20:54] not just on X, uh, but also over on Facebook. I posted a video there. I think how many,
[0:21:00] how many replies did we get? Is it not going to 1,000 comments, 91,000 views. I mean,
[0:21:08] that's pretty big, I think for Facebook anyway. Uh, and of course over on X, I posted it on X
[0:21:14] and, uh, it went super duper mega viral over there with over, uh, 324,000 views, 19,000 likes.
[0:21:25] Frankly, I think this was probably one of the most popular things that the Idaho Republican
[0:21:30] party has ever done. So we're going to get into that right now. And I think we're going to start,
[0:21:39] we're going to start by kind of playing through some of the media that was created
[0:21:44] over the weekend. Maybe some of you have seen it. So this will be doubling up.
[0:21:49] I apologize if you already follow me on X or on Facebook, but we're going to play this and kind
[0:21:55] of go through all of the tweets in this thread. And then we're going to dig even deeper because
[0:22:00] I actually have audio and video from the convention so we can hear exactly what was said.
[0:22:06] And so let's start. Let's start with this is the video that went super mega viral
[0:22:11] announcing that the Idaho GOP had thrown out this resolution. Well, something absolutely
[0:22:19] incredible has happened here at the Idaho GOP state convention. And that is that for the first
[0:22:26] time in about a decade, the Idaho GOP has rejected a resolution supporting Israel.
[0:22:34] I am speechless. I am beside myself because I never thought that this would happen. 80%
[0:22:41] of the room voted to reject the resolution supporting Israel, condemning Hamas and all
[0:22:47] that. And of course, it's not because anybody supports Hamas. It's not because people here
[0:22:51] are anti-Semitic. It's because Idaho and Israel have frankly nothing to do with each other.
[0:22:57] Israel is 5,000 miles away and there is nothing that our state legislators, our lawmakers,
[0:23:02] our county commissioners, and our state Republican Party can frankly do about foreign policy.
[0:23:06] There's nothing that we can do to affect anything 5,000 miles away. We should be
[0:23:11] laser focused on doing things at home. And so what happened was in the meeting,
[0:23:17] Brian Lenny, State Senator Brian Lenny, made a motion to strike the resolution supporting Israel
[0:23:26] that was seconded by a young gentleman. And they made passionate arguments about why
[0:23:33] this has nothing to do and is not germane, frankly, to the business of the Idaho Republican Party.
[0:23:40] And so, yeah, it was overwhelmingly rejected, which is just absolutely an incredible turn of events here.
[0:23:50] We did an interview. I did an interview with Brian Lenny a little bit ago, but unfortunately my microphone wasn't working.
[0:23:56] Oops.
[0:23:56] So I had to rerecord this video. But yeah, man, unbelievable. Nobody saw that coming.
[0:24:04] I thought it was a foregone conclusion that we would be seeing yet another pro-Israel
[0:24:10] resolution, and it hasn't.
[0:24:12] And so this is what happens when you work together, you don't burn your bridges, and
[0:24:16] you're persistent.
[0:24:17] You've got to be persistent at this.
[0:24:19] We've been trying, at least I have, for the past six years to get this stuff out of the
[0:24:25] Idaho Republican resolutions, the platform, and all of that.
[0:24:28] And so a lot of hard work has finally paid off, thanks to Senator Brian Lenny and all
[0:24:34] of the, uh, the young delegates here, uh, in Meridian, Idaho. Uh, so the, the session is not
[0:24:40] over yet. Uh, we still have to vote on. All right. All right. We get it. That's, uh, that's the bulk
[0:24:45] of it. That's the bulk of it. Now I did in fact meet back up with state Senator Brian Lenny and
[0:24:51] I did a little interview with him. Uh, and so let's take a look at that real quick. Uh, he's
[0:24:56] of course, he's the, the gentleman that made the motion to strike the resolution from the docket.
[0:25:02] So let's take a look at this real quick.
[0:25:05] So here I am with Senator Brian Lenny from State Senator from Nampa, Idaho.
[0:25:11] He is the one who today put forth the motion to separate out the pro-Israel resolution and consider that on its own, which was ultimately rejected by about 80 percent of the convention.
[0:25:24] What were you thinking?
[0:25:26] Why did we do this?
[0:25:27] And why is it important that we put Idaho first and not be kowtowing?
[0:25:31] Yeah.
[0:25:31] Yeah. Do I need to hold this thing? Yeah. So, I mean, I saw the resolution yesterday, last night, and it just immediately struck me as like, what are we doing here?
[0:25:43] Like, we're we're Idaho. We're not like what is Idaho have to do with Israel?
[0:25:48] So, you know, if we're America first, I don't think should have, you know, like I said in the speech on the floor, I don't think there should be an asterisk, you know, next to the America first position that says, well, except for Israel.
[0:25:58] like we're either America first or we're not and I think a lot of people are waking up to that well
[0:26:04] I don't think I know for a fact like a lot of the younger generations they're not on board with all
[0:26:09] the this like post-war consensus kind of boomer Zionism Israel has a right to exist of course
[0:26:15] they do does everyone in this room like is anyone in here like pro Hamas probably not but like do
[0:26:21] we need to make a resolution saying we support another foreign military's foreign government's
[0:26:26] military action? I don't think so. So, um, especially when we have so many issues here
[0:26:30] at home, now you're interviewing me, but I was going to say, especially since we have so many
[0:26:34] issues here at home, data centers, immigration, uh, you know, we've got this big thing coming up
[0:26:39] with abortion in Idaho that we've got to be fighting. And why are we wasting our time
[0:26:43] arguing about something we can't change 5,000 miles away when we've got our own backyard to
[0:26:46] worry about? Yeah. And that's, I did mention, uh, mentioned that briefly. I'm like, you know,
[0:26:52] Exactly to your point. Data centers, illegal immigration, stuff like that. These are the things Idaho cares about. What a country does on another continent has nothing to do with the Idaho Republican Party. So I was actually pleasantly surprised. I know for the last several conventions, this has been done, right? If I'm remembering correctly.
[0:27:10] so it's good that people are just kind of waking up to it and I think the the bigger point that a
[0:27:15] lot of people I've talked to today since then don't even know or didn't even know is it two
[0:27:20] weeks ago on June 5th 2026 our Pentagon released I forgot what it's called the but like they they
[0:27:27] released a report on how they were spying on a report on yeah Israel it said Israel Israel spying
[0:27:33] on us they the is a critical threat yeah so I'm like wait so so this is our ally our greatest
[0:27:40] ally, in air quotes,
[0:27:42] I'm holding a can and a microphone, but
[0:27:43] if our greatest ally is spying on us
[0:27:46] and the Pentagon is releasing things
[0:27:48] saying they're a critical threat, what are we doing?
[0:27:50] Why are we trying to pass a resolution?
[0:27:52] So, anyway, yeah, I'm
[0:27:54] kicking a dead horse, but that's kind of what's behind it.
[0:27:56] It's great. I think it's a sea change, and it's
[0:27:58] a sign of things to come. So, please
[0:28:00] make sure, by the way, that you support Brian Lenny.
[0:28:02] He is running for re-election. He's running against the Democrat.
[0:28:05] So, this November, get out and
[0:28:06] vote for him. Donate to him. What's your website?
[0:28:09] I don't know.
[0:28:09] Just go find me on Twitter, though.
[0:28:11] X.com.
[0:28:11] Brian underscore Lenny.
[0:28:13] Thank you all.
[0:28:14] And we'll have more from the convention.
[0:28:16] All right.
[0:28:16] So there was that.
[0:28:18] Thank you again to Senator Brian Lenny.
[0:28:20] Very gracious to have stood for an interview with me.
[0:28:23] I do appreciate it.
[0:28:24] I do know exactly how much these people in Idaho have tried to destroy me and make me a pariah.
[0:28:31] And, you know, so just the fact that he was willing to talk is greatly appreciated.
[0:28:36] You know, also there was a couple of moments I did get a chance to to talk with some other interesting people, such as Senator Risch, who I had a chance to to run into in the hallway.
[0:28:49] Of course, we don't agree on foreign policy.
[0:28:50] He is, of course, a very big Zionist.
[0:28:53] He sits on the House Foreign Relations Committee and was one of the first people to go and visit Zelensky and give money to Ukraine and all of this stuff.
[0:29:00] But, you know, it is good to be able to talk with these people and, you know, not just be a complete freak about it, to be able to have a reasonable conversation with them, let them know that you're not happy with some of the things that have been going on in D.C.
[0:29:17] You know, you've got to be able to to talk about this type of stuff.
[0:29:20] And when you when you freak out and start screaming and calling people names, they don't want to listen to you.
[0:29:25] You know, what's that book?
[0:29:27] How to Make Friends and Influence People.
[0:29:28] that should definitely be on your reading list if it isn't already.
[0:29:33] So now here's where we're going to dive a little bit deeper.
[0:29:39] We do have previously unreleased footage and audio
[0:29:46] from the convention that I will pull up here.
[0:29:51] And we'll follow.
[0:29:52] We're going to follow this resolution all the way through
[0:29:56] from the resolutions committee where it was introduced by Nina Beasley from Kootenai County.
[0:30:04] And I think there was actually...
[0:30:09] I think there was a photo actually that was leaked of me and Ms. Beasley.
[0:30:21] Let's see.
[0:30:24] I do. Yeah, here it is.
[0:30:26] Somebody was stalking me at the convention and caught me and Nina in the hallway shaking hands.
[0:30:33] I will let the viewers interpret that however they want.
[0:30:38] Of course, that tweet says, you know, I'm no expert, but isn't that Nina Beasley, the lady who pushed the pro-Israel resolution at the convention, shaking hands with Dave Riley?
[0:30:49] Is she like a deep cover anti-Semite running secret ops with Dave or something?
[0:30:56] No comment.
[0:30:58] No comment on that one.
[0:31:01] So, anyway, we're going to follow this resolution, okay?
[0:31:06] And so, here is, let's see if I double-click.
[0:31:12] Okay, hold on a second.
[0:31:14] Let me move this over here.
[0:31:18] So, like I said, we're going to follow this resolution.
[0:31:21] We'll see the debate as it happened in the committee.
[0:31:23] and then we will follow it to the floor where it was ultimately rejected.
[0:31:31] And here's another reason why this was so crazy to see.
[0:31:34] It's because in the committee, it passed like 70-30.
[0:31:41] 33 people voted for it and 11 people voted against it.
[0:31:45] And the arguments were basically the same.
[0:31:47] So it is interesting.
[0:31:49] So we'll get into this.
[0:31:51] Let's take a look and maybe we'll stop and do some commentary along the way.
[0:31:55] But here we go.
[0:31:57] Grab your popcorn.
[0:32:01] Now?
[0:32:03] Now you can?
[0:32:04] Okay.
[0:32:05] So my name is Nina Kasey.
[0:32:06] I'm a precinct committeeman for Precinct 307.
[0:32:08] The author was Sid Smith and it did pass the KCRCC,
[0:32:12] Kutney County Republican Central Committee on September 23, 2025.
[0:32:16] I do come before you in a spirit of love and reverence and humility.
[0:32:19] I spend a significant amount of prayer,
[0:32:22] studying, and fasting on this topic.
[0:32:24] And I do come in remembrance of our Savior Jesus Christ
[0:32:27] and his promises to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob,
[0:32:30] to the 12 tribes of Israel, including Judah.
[0:32:34] And as reported in the scriptures,
[0:32:37] and as descendants, we are heir to those promised blessings.
[0:32:40] And the state of Israel, the Jerusalem as its capital,
[0:32:43] is part of the gathering of Israel
[0:32:44] and the restoration of the 12 tribes.
[0:32:47] I also come before you in remembrance
[0:32:49] of those who have suffered and died.
[0:32:51] The Lord has asked us to mourn with those
[0:32:53] that mourn and comfort those
[0:32:54] that stand in need of comfort.
[0:32:57] And according to the resolution,
[0:32:59] you can see that it was absolutely
[0:33:01] an atrocity of what happened.
[0:33:03] We do pray for peace in Israel
[0:33:05] and the Middle East with resolve to do our part
[0:33:07] to bring about that peace with reverence
[0:33:09] and respect for the sanctity of life.
[0:33:11] And may we always remember that every soul
[0:33:14] is made in the image of God
[0:33:15] and endowed by our Creator with God-given rights
[0:33:17] and government is instituted to secure his rights and may work to fulfill the stated mission
[0:33:24] of the U.S. Constitution, the form of work for Virginia, establish justice, ensure domestic
[0:33:29] tranquility, promote the general welfare, and provide for the common defense and secure the
[0:33:33] blessings of liberty for ourselves. Now, just, what are we doing? What are we doing here? Okay,
[0:33:41] this has to do with Israel, and then she's saying that this fulfills the U.S. Constitution for
[0:33:46] promoting domestic tranquility? What? What are we talking about here? That's like the opposite.
[0:33:55] George Washington literally said in his outgoing address that we need to
[0:33:59] stay away from all foreign entanglements. So the idea that this resolution somehow fulfills
[0:34:08] the Founding Father's wishes is just total baloney. And by the way, let me see if we actually
[0:34:20] have the text of the resolution. We should probably take a quick look at that. I did post it. Yes,
[0:34:28] here it is. This Brian Lenny posted it, actually. Idaho or Israel? Which way are we going, my boy?
[0:34:36] Bro, this guy
[0:34:39] He is my favorite legislator, absolutely
[0:34:42] So this is the resolution
[0:34:44] I'm not going to read the whole thing
[0:34:49] But blah blah blah, October 7th
[0:34:51] Since yada yada, Hamas has been a terrorist organization
[0:34:55] Hamas this, Israel that
[0:34:58] October 7th, right?
[0:35:01] On and on down the line
[0:35:03] Nothing to do with Idaho
[0:35:05] So nothing to do with the United States other than we have maintained a strong relationship since 1948, which the United States was the first to recognize Israel as a sovereign country, blah, blah, blah.
[0:35:16] Right. So anyway, you know, and Nina has her own weird beliefs about this.
[0:35:23] Like she thinks that we're all part of the 12 tribes of Israel, which like, is that like a Mormon thing?
[0:35:31] I don't know if we have any Mormons watching, if you could enlighten me, but I don't think that's like Mormon doctrine.
[0:35:37] Maybe it is. I don't know. But anyway.
[0:35:41] OK, so sorry for that brief aside. We will continue here. OK.
[0:35:45] And posterity. So with this, I ask for your support in passing this resolution.
[0:35:50] Yes, sir. Mr. Chair, this committee has limited time to address resolutions.
[0:35:55] So that is not an option for this committee.
[0:36:09] So according to conventional rules, we actually have to take action on the resolution.
[0:36:14] Oh, hold on a second.
[0:36:16] Hold on a second.
[0:36:17] I see that the Winged Hussar is in the chat.
[0:36:20] Yes, I will repeat this.
[0:36:22] repeat this. So the question is, is it like, is it, I guess, Orthodox Mormon teaching or belief
[0:36:30] that we are all somehow part of the 12 tribes of Israel? Because she like, she came up to me and
[0:36:36] was like, hey, you know, we're part of the 12 tribes of Israel. And I'm like, what? That, like,
[0:36:44] as Catholics, we believe that Israel is the church. We believe that Israel is the church.
[0:36:49] And I think a lot of most Christians believe that too.
[0:36:51] They believe that the blessings and the fulfillment of like Genesis 3.12 and all of this, this
[0:36:58] is found in Jesus Christ, the seed, right?
[0:37:01] The seed of the woman as opposed to the seed of the serpent and that the promises are given
[0:37:07] to the church, to the believers, to those who are one in Jesus, right?
[0:37:13] That's the idea.
[0:37:13] So anyway, that was the question, Mr. Winged Hussar, if you want to weigh in on that.
[0:37:18] But we will continue. And of course, so this was a young gentleman that we just heard.
[0:37:22] And I don't know if you guys are having trouble with the audio.
[0:37:25] I'm trying my best here. You know, it's a little boomy, a little reverby being in the back of the room.
[0:37:30] But young guy. OK, yeah. The Winged Hussar says they do absolutely see themselves as the gathering of the tribes of Israel.
[0:37:38] OK. So anyway, so young guy basically says, listen, this has nothing to do with the judiciary, the legislature, the governor.
[0:37:45] I move to table this motion indefinitely is what he said, and I think that's where we're going to be picking up.
[0:37:53] We will go into any questions or debate on the resolution next week.
[0:37:57] So is there any debate? Yes, sir.
[0:37:59] More of a question than the presenter of us.
[0:38:01] Thanks.
[0:38:02] It's kind of a debate.
[0:38:03] It appears to me you're telling us that we're supposed to tell Kutney County to have a moment of silence in the next meeting.
[0:38:10] This was already passed through the Kutney County Republican Central Committee.
[0:38:14] and so our community had already improved this.
[0:38:17] So that paragraph resolution is not particularly important here.
[0:38:23] For clarification from the chair, the resolution will be updated before it goes to the floor.
[0:38:29] If we depend on our action here today, that will update it to the Idaho GOP convention.
[0:38:35] Thank you.
[0:38:37] President, I'd like to debate this resolution.
[0:38:41] While I agree with very much what it says, every government has a right, not only the right, but the duty to protect its own citizens, the right of liberty and property.
[0:38:51] This makes it sound like we are giving unqualified and unrestricted support to Israel's government without any boundaries.
[0:39:01] During COVID, Israel's government was worse for their people than almost any other country on earth.
[0:39:07] So I think they have a problem with their deep state just like we do with ours.
[0:39:11] And I think they've gone well over some boundaries that I'm comfortable with,
[0:39:19] with the military help that we've given them.
[0:39:23] I believe they're bombing Christian villages in Lebanon right now.
[0:39:27] They've attacked peace-negotiating teams to undermine the attempts to negotiate peace by Trump.
[0:39:33] They have probably killed over 100,000 women and children in Gaza.
[0:39:40] And these are all debatable items, but without having a long, reasonable discussion about our relationship and its boundaries with officials' government,
[0:39:49] I'm not interested in offering unqualified support without any conditions to what they are doing with my tax dollars over there.
[0:40:02] But take a look at pictures from Gaza and decide whether you want your tax dollars in that way.
[0:40:11] Powerful, powerful.
[0:40:12] So just in case it was a little muddled, but he brought up a lot of different things.
[0:40:16] He brought up how the government of Israel treated their citizens during COVID, forced vaccinations.
[0:40:22] He also brought up what was going on in Gaza, the women and children that have been murdered by the Israeli regime.
[0:40:28] And the fact that this has all been done with our tax dollars without our consent.
[0:40:32] We never voted on this.
[0:40:33] We never voted to send our money over there to bomb and blow up children in Gaza or the West Bank or to burn villages like Taipei, which is a very old Christian village in the West Bank.
[0:40:47] So he brought up all of that stuff.
[0:40:51] Very well read.
[0:40:52] Bravo.
[0:40:53] Good for him to bring that up.
[0:40:56] And so just making sure that you can hear a little bit because it is a little boomy.
[0:41:01] I do apologize, but, you know, what are you going to do? So moving on with more debate.
[0:41:10] I'll go to land. So I am a proud Jew. I'm a cultural Jew. I'm not necessarily a religious Jew,
[0:41:18] but I want to say that I did spend a month in Israel a couple of years ago, right before October
[0:41:24] 7th. And I know that most of the people in this room
[0:41:28] are Christians, and I support you 100 million
[0:41:32] percent. Those holy sites in Israel
[0:41:36] are being protected by the Israelis. And
[0:41:40] there's places where Jesus Christ walked, etc.
[0:41:44] We have to protect that land because Hamas
[0:41:48] and these evil, evil people want to destroy
[0:41:52] our way of life and your way of life,
[0:41:55] and all of those historic sites will be destroyed
[0:41:58] and we don't support Israel.
[0:41:59] So those are the protectors over there,
[0:42:02] and if you don't want to support this,
[0:42:04] I mean, you're reading the media,
[0:42:06] you're listening to all kinds of,
[0:42:08] no one in this room is an expert on Israeli politics.
[0:42:13] I'm sorry, you just don't know what's going on up there.
[0:42:15] Those are those who are out-of-the-is-rins of the view,
[0:42:19] and I believe that this should pass,
[0:42:21] because this is a resolution, it's a wish list.
[0:42:24] It's not saying that we're going to support the Israeli government.
[0:42:28] We're supporting Israel's right to exist because there are monsters over there.
[0:42:32] Monsters.
[0:42:33] When I was there, the people from Gaza would come over and work and play and have businesses.
[0:42:39] They've all destroyed that.
[0:42:40] They have destroyed it themselves.
[0:42:42] So I support this one million percent and I hope you will stand with us.
[0:42:46] Thank you, Nina.
[0:42:47] Yes, sir.
[0:42:48] Now, of course, that was Lynn Bradescue.
[0:42:50] Lynn Bradeske down there in Ada County, uh, who is fighting, uh, for this resolution. Um,
[0:42:58] I do want to point out a couple of things here. Uh, number one, Lynn has been an asset here in
[0:43:06] Idaho to the Idaho Republican party. She has been a fighter, uh, against the LGBT stuff down in
[0:43:13] Boise, okay? She's been a big donor for people trying to take out Mayor McLean, right? The
[0:43:21] Jewish gay, pro-gay mayor of Boise. So Lynn has been a great asset to the Republican Party.
[0:43:30] And when this resolution, and I know we're kind of skipping ahead and back a little bit, but
[0:43:35] when the resolution failed on the floor,
[0:43:39] somebody sitting next to her said
[0:43:41] that she's thinking of moving to Israel
[0:43:45] because she no longer feels safe in Idaho.
[0:43:47] I just want to say,
[0:43:49] Lynn, if you ever feel unsafe,
[0:43:51] you can come to my house, okay?
[0:43:54] No one's going to hurt you.
[0:43:57] Passing this, or not passing this resolution,
[0:44:00] the holy sites,
[0:44:02] you see what I mean?
[0:44:02] Like, the idea that,
[0:44:04] oh, if you don't vote for this resolution, all of the holy sites in Israel are going to be destroyed.
[0:44:10] That's like emotional blackmail, frankly.
[0:44:14] And by the way, like, do you not remember seeing the Israeli soldier that took the sledgehammer to the crucifix over there?
[0:44:29] Do you remember this?
[0:44:29] and so she gets up and tells the committee
[0:44:34] oh it's the Israelis that are saving
[0:44:38] the Christian memorials in Israel
[0:44:42] it's the Israelis that are protecting Christians
[0:44:44] really?
[0:44:47] because that's not what this looks like actually
[0:44:50] that's not what's going on over there
[0:44:55] actually
[0:44:56] do you remember a couple of months ago
[0:44:59] when the IDF prevented Cardinal Pizzaballa and the Catholics from celebrating Easter?
[0:45:06] Do you remember that?
[0:45:08] Because that wasn't Hamas.
[0:45:09] That wasn't the Iranians.
[0:45:13] So, just wanted to point that out.
[0:45:17] I like Lynn.
[0:45:18] A lot of people in the Republican Party like Lynn.
[0:45:21] I don't want anyone to feel unsafe, okay?
[0:45:24] But this is Idaho.
[0:45:26] This is not Israel.
[0:45:27] and so if that is where your heart lies
[0:45:32] then yeah maybe
[0:45:32] maybe you should go to Israel
[0:45:35] but so far I just wanted to put it out there
[0:45:38] that she's been a great asset
[0:45:39] and if we can find a way
[0:45:42] to park our differences
[0:45:44] about foreign policy on the side
[0:45:47] nothing is stopping Lynn
[0:45:48] from donating her time and money
[0:45:51] and her efforts and resources
[0:45:52] on her own
[0:45:53] to do what she feels she must
[0:45:56] for her people in Israel.
[0:45:59] Nothing's stopping that.
[0:46:00] But don't hijack the Republican Party
[0:46:02] for a niche religious ideology.
[0:46:08] Right?
[0:46:09] We're all tired of it.
[0:46:11] We're all very tired of that.
[0:46:12] So anyway, moving on.
[0:46:15] More debate.
[0:46:16] Mr. Jeff, October 7th was a brutal and horrific attack.
[0:46:20] We all agree on this.
[0:46:21] It was wicked by any measure.
[0:46:23] However, in recent days,
[0:46:24] We've seen our European allies dealing with beheadings.
[0:46:27] 250,000 women and great in England.
[0:46:30] We all oppose this wickedness.
[0:46:33] But the reality is, addressing this resolution,
[0:46:35] it's dealing with a foreign government.
[0:46:38] This is Idaho.
[0:46:39] Resolutions that barely mention Idaho or Idahoans
[0:46:42] serve no substantive purpose here.
[0:46:45] Every person in this room doubtless stands against
[0:46:47] the unjust shedding of blood in all nations,
[0:46:50] but that conviction does not require a resolution
[0:46:52] from the Idaho GOP to be true.
[0:46:55] The resolution should be rejected on the grounds
[0:46:57] that it falls outside the proper scope of this line.
[0:47:01] Mr. Baxter, I'm right back.
[0:47:04] I respectfully disagree with that position.
[0:47:08] Not only a hand may only be a small part of the body
[0:47:12] and not of great use to the opposing shoulder all the time.
[0:47:17] Unless, of course, I have a hand.
[0:47:18] The truth of the matter is that we are a connected world and becoming more connected all the time.
[0:47:26] This resolution rightfully calls for the condemnation of an evil group, Hamas.
[0:47:34] I cannot in any way think of anything that they've done that's of value in this world.
[0:47:41] All they've done is kill murder and rape.
[0:47:43] The fact that England may also have some problems does not negate what Hamas has done and that they should be condemned by any conscious society.
[0:47:58] Certainly, I think Idaho should stand up and say, you're right, they need to be answered.
[0:48:08] Yes, sir.
[0:48:09] He said, I think we're here to debate Idaho values.
[0:48:32] He said, I'm here to focus on making America great, not making Israel great.
[0:48:39] blows across the public and more importantly among Republican voters, specifically the young vote.
[0:48:45] I believe that the passage of this resolution will only further the distrust and dislike
[0:48:49] because it truly doesn't accomplish anything.
[0:48:51] Hamas has already designated a foreign terrorist.
[0:48:54] They do not have a right to exist because they do exist.
[0:48:58] I'm not saying a moment of silence is a bad thing and certainly praying for peace in Israel
[0:49:03] is a bad thing.
[0:49:04] I think everybody should do that.
[0:49:06] But it seems that whenever the spotlight is shining on Israel,
[0:49:09] and the political sphere,
[0:49:11] skepticism in the public
[0:49:12] seems to go up.
[0:49:14] True.
[0:49:17] Seeing no further demands,
[0:49:18] we're right at the nine minutes,
[0:49:20] so it's a perfect opportunity
[0:49:21] and time to go ahead
[0:49:22] and take the vote.
[0:49:23] Thank you.
[0:49:25] Okay, so before you
[0:49:26] is a motion to recommend
[0:49:28] adoption of Resolution 26-11
[0:49:33] supporting Israel's right to exist
[0:49:35] and condemning Hamas.
[0:49:37] I'm going to go ahead
[0:49:38] and call this vote
[0:49:38] by having you stand.
[0:49:40] All those in support of recommending the adoption of Resolution 11,
[0:49:46] please go ahead and stand now to those members of the committee.
[0:49:50] And I will put that out.
[0:49:54] And so now they're taking a standing vote, and they're counting.
[0:49:58] They're counting all the different people that are standing up to vote in favor of this.
[0:50:04] Like I said, the final count was 33 to 11.
[0:50:08] Okay, you may sit and all of those opposed to recommending adoption, please go ahead and stand.
[0:50:15] And look at this.
[0:50:16] By the way, not just all young people.
[0:50:19] There's some white hair up there, too.
[0:50:21] Okay, it does pass 33 to 11.
[0:50:24] There's some white hair up there.
[0:50:26] Not all boomers.
[0:50:27] Not all boomers.
[0:50:29] So, to give you a taste, just so you're aware.
[0:50:35] Because like so many people, they watch podcasts, they watch the news, but they don't actually get involved.
[0:50:41] They don't actually go to these types of meetings.
[0:50:43] So for those that haven't been there, this is what it looks like.
[0:50:46] This is what actually takes place at some of these meetings.
[0:50:50] And so you kind of get a taste for it, which I think is important because you have to make motions, you have to make arguments.
[0:50:57] And so that was what happened in the resolutions committee.
[0:51:00] Now, I kind of thought it was a foregone conclusion that this was just going to pass the same way through the main body, which has over 600 voting delegates in it.
[0:51:13] There was really no indication that this would go any other way, which is incredible.
[0:51:19] So now let's take a look at now just as a preface. Okay. I started out by filming, standing up and filming what was going on, the debate that was happening in the thing. I got approached by a security guard. The security guard asked me to please stop filming.
[0:51:40] so I did stop filming
[0:51:42] but I did not stop taking audio
[0:51:44] because again I think that this is a really important
[0:51:47] thing and we're going to unpack all of this in just
[0:51:48] a second when we get to the other end
[0:51:50] but it is super important
[0:51:52] that I think that this audio
[0:51:54] is released
[0:51:56] because it's
[0:51:58] going to be smeared in the media
[0:52:00] it's going to be twisted and warped as though
[0:52:02] all of these Republicans
[0:52:04] they're all anti-Semites
[0:52:06] they all hate Israel, they all support Hamas
[0:52:08] And we're already seeing that coming from the Zionist circles.
[0:52:12] And it is important to show that that is not the case.
[0:52:17] So that's why I'm playing this.
[0:52:20] Otherwise, usually, I think that these things should be sacred.
[0:52:24] I think that you should be able to go to one of these things and argue.
[0:52:28] And it should, you know, stay at the convention, essentially.
[0:52:33] You know what I mean?
[0:52:33] Like nobody should get to a convention, argue against something,
[0:52:36] and then have their life destroyed over this.
[0:52:40] So just that little kind of caveat.
[0:52:42] Just wanted to point that out there.
[0:52:43] But this is a very important news story.
[0:52:46] This is an important learning moment.
[0:52:48] So now we're going to look at what happened on the main floor.
[0:52:52] So now this is the following day.
[0:52:54] We've all gone home and slept and then came back.
[0:52:57] And in the general session, this is what happened.
[0:53:02] So, let me move this once again up to my browser screen and we will take a look.
[0:53:18] The audio on this will be much better, too.
[0:53:20] And my motion, as I stated before, was that the convention would adopt the Resolutions
[0:53:27] Committee Report.
[0:53:28] Okay, thank you.
[0:53:29] Do I have a second?
[0:53:30] Second. Oh no second. I'm sorry go ahead. Did they get a second already? Go ahead and get to the mic. No we're okay. Just go ahead and discussion. Okay Brian Lenny. Nampa, Idaho, Canyon County District 13 with a substitute motion.
[0:53:44] thank you madam chair i move that we pass the resolutions packet i just presented and strike
[0:54:02] resolution 2026 11
[0:54:05] so what this resolution is asking us to do is to formally align Idaho State Party with the foreign
[0:54:21] nations military objectives when our own Pentagon just two weeks ago on June 5th 2026 said Israel is
[0:54:29] quote, spying on us at critical levels. Nobody in the room is pro-Hamas. I don't think anyone
[0:54:35] in here is pro-Hamas. We know that. And this resolution rightfully condemns Hamas. That's
[0:54:41] the easy part that nobody would argue with, Madam Chair. But everything else tucked inside
[0:54:46] this thing I have a problem with because we're being asked to commend a U.S. president, not
[0:54:51] for anything he's done for Idaho, but for his foreign policy work on behalf of another country,
[0:54:56] inside a state party resolution at an Idaho Republican convention
[0:55:00] that somehow permanent alliance language is getting wired into state party infrastructure
[0:55:05] like that's normal and we should all just nod along with that.
[0:55:08] This is nothing more than, in my opinion, Madam Chair,
[0:55:11] globalist foreign policy with a conservative paint job
[0:55:14] because here's what's not in this resolution, Madam Chair.
[0:55:18] There's nothing about wages, nothing about illegal immigration,
[0:55:20] nothing about data centers.
[0:55:21] We could go on and on and on and on.
[0:55:23] This resolution produces exactly zero outcomes for Idaho.
[0:55:29] No foreign nation should occupy a permanent, untouchable position in American politics.
[0:55:35] And I think when we say America first, we should not have an asterisk by it that says it except when it comes to Israel.
[0:55:41] Thank you, Madam Chair.
[0:55:41] Yes, ma'am.
[0:55:50] Madam Chair, October 7th was a brutal and horrific and wholly unjustified attack on civilians.
[0:55:56] It's wicked by any measure, we all agree with this.
[0:55:58] This is not in dispute. However, in recent days, numerous reports have circulated that evil men stabbing innocent Europeans,
[0:56:05] Attempting to ban college students, rape women, kidnap our children, and yet no resolutions appear on the docket commending these attacks against our European allies.
[0:56:14] This is understandable. Those are foreign nations, as is Israel.
[0:56:18] This body exists to serve Idahoans.
[0:56:21] Resolutions that barely mention Idaho or Idahoans serve no substantive purpose here.
[0:56:26] Every person in this group doubtless stands against the unjust shedding of blood in all nations,
[0:56:30] but that conviction does not require a resolution from Idaho GOP to be true.
[0:56:35] This resolution should be rejected on the grounds that it falls outside the proper scope of this law.
[0:56:40] Thank you.
[0:56:43] Very simple.
[0:56:44] Very simple argument.
[0:56:46] Okay.
[0:56:46] Please see Wills, Twin Falls, and I call the question.
[0:56:51] And so just so you're aware, calling the question, this is when you're tired of debate, it could go on and on and on.
[0:56:59] It's called calling the question, and it forces you to go straight into a vote.
[0:57:05] So, no more debate, no more arguing, let's just vote on this thing and move on.
[0:57:11] And so that's what happens now.
[0:57:13] And so they'll take a vote.
[0:57:15] It's been seconded.
[0:57:16] They'll take a vote.
[0:57:17] All in favor, call in question, and any debate.
[0:57:26] Based Super Chat from the Winged Hussar.
[0:57:29] Thank you so much.
[0:57:31] Anyone who wants to continue with the debate?
[0:57:33] Okay, and so this was basically everybody stood up.
[0:57:36] Now we're going to vote.
[0:57:38] They were dumb debating.
[0:57:39] All in favor of 2026.
[0:57:41] Now listen, you can't.
[0:57:42] That's striking 2026-11.
[0:57:45] Okay, so you're not going to be able to see it, obviously, because I wasn't able to film it.
[0:57:50] But you'll hear it.
[0:57:51] You'll hear the reaction, right?
[0:57:54] So just listen to the reaction when we see how many people stand for this thing.
[0:57:59] Let me get that paper there.
[0:58:05] Resolution supporting Israel's right to exist and condemning Hamas.
[0:58:13] To remove that, please rise.
[0:58:18] Oh, wow.
[0:58:20] Can they please be seated?
[0:58:22] Wow.
[0:58:23] And those who would like to not remove it from the panel.
[0:58:29] So, you can just hear, wow, wow, over and over again.
[0:58:45] You know, just unbelievable.
[0:58:47] Nobody saw it coming.
[0:58:49] Nobody could have predicted that.
[0:58:52] And here's what I really want to drive home, okay?
[0:58:55] Here's what I really, if I may, because I was there.
[0:58:59] I can't speak on behalf of the body, but having been there, having spoken with the delegates, and having followed this resolution all the way through the committees, I do think that I am qualified to kind of interpret a little bit of what had happened.
[0:59:15] And here is the correct interpretation.
[0:59:21] Idahoans are sick and tired of arguing about what is going on in the Middle East.
[0:59:29] We've got serious problems here at home.
[0:59:33] Data centers, immigration, corruption.
[0:59:37] And every minute that we spend arguing and fighting and doing litmus tests and shit tests
[0:59:45] about how you think of whatever 5,000, 7,000 miles away is just counterproductive.
[0:59:53] And furthermore, the people that brought this resolution and the people that supported this resolution
[0:59:59] have been some of the most divisive people in the party.
[1:00:05] They have been engaging in infighting.
[1:00:08] They went after Brent Regan.
[1:00:10] They went after Dorothy Moon.
[1:00:12] They've gone after all kinds of people
[1:00:15] on behalf of their big corporate donors.
[1:00:21] And so this isn't a rejection of Zionism per se.
[1:00:27] It's not a rejection of Idahoans that support Israel because I think most of the people that voted no, most of the people that voted this down are Zionists, by the way.
[1:00:40] And that's okay.
[1:00:44] Because it has nothing to do with Idaho.
[1:00:46] That's why it got voted down.
[1:00:50] It's not because people are anti-Semites, right?
[1:00:56] So I just want to make that very clear because, you know, in my discussions even with people at Candlelight Christian Church, Paul Van Noy, Dan Fry, some of these Zionist types that I've been engaging with over the past several years, what I've been trying to tell them is, listen, if you just pipe down and focus on Idaho, then we can work together.
[1:01:21] We can make the state a better place. But as long as you're going to engage in canceling people because they hold a different eschatological view of the end times, then it's not going to work.
[1:01:34] And so this is a rejection of divisiveness. This is a rejection of infighting. This is a stance that, hey, what you think about foreign policy doesn't matter as much as what you think about Idaho policy.
[1:01:52] that's what was going on
[1:01:56] so don't let anyone
[1:01:57] try to spin this any other way
[1:02:00] because like I said
[1:02:02] most of the people that voted for this
[1:02:04] you saw the pictures
[1:02:05] they're all old people
[1:02:07] the party is very old
[1:02:09] and we know that the older generations
[1:02:12] support Israel way more
[1:02:14] than the younger generations
[1:02:15] but finally I think
[1:02:17] reason is
[1:02:19] coming through here
[1:02:21] that we're able to, you know, actually engage with it.
[1:02:28] And, you know, I tweeted something about this to this effect a couple days ago,
[1:02:34] like right after the election, and what I said was pretty simple.
[1:02:40] It's okay to vote no on resolutions about Israel.
[1:02:45] It doesn't mean that you hate Jews.
[1:02:47] It doesn't mean that you support Hamas.
[1:02:49] It means that we, the people, are sick and tired of wasting time about things that have nothing to do with Idaho.
[1:02:56] America first is Idaho first.
[1:02:59] And that's the takeaway.
[1:03:02] That's the takeaway.
[1:03:03] If you're tired of the infighting, then stop.
[1:03:09] So anyway.
[1:03:11] And of course, if you're in all of the group chats with these Zionists, you'll see.
[1:03:16] I don't have it prepared.
[1:03:17] let me see if I can pull some of this stuff up for you
[1:03:21] in real time
[1:03:23] I don't know
[1:03:24] if that's possible or not
[1:03:27] let's see
[1:03:32] but I mean yeah
[1:03:37] like here's
[1:03:38] I don't know if you can see this or not
[1:03:40] here maybe I can move this over a little bit
[1:03:43] yeah
[1:03:45] here you go
[1:03:46] And so you can see they've just gone off.
[1:03:52] All the main characters that you would see talking about how,
[1:04:01] oh, you can condemn Hamas without putting Israel ahead of your own state.
[1:04:07] If this isn't about hating on Israel and he thinks Israel has a right to exist,
[1:04:11] then why is he anti-Zionist?
[1:04:13] You see what I mean?
[1:04:14] They're just going nasty.
[1:04:17] Pray for Nampa.
[1:04:19] Brian Lenny is my senator, and I didn't know that he was so anti-Israel.
[1:04:24] You see what I mean?
[1:04:25] Like, it's just so disingenuous.
[1:04:32] Absolutely disingenuous stuff, right?
[1:04:40] Unbelievable.
[1:04:41] So anyway, you can kind of see that the Zionists are freaking out.
[1:04:47] And then, of course, they go into this big anti-Catholic tirade in here,
[1:04:51] posting these pictures about, you know, the Catholic Church and blah, blah, blah.
[1:04:56] And by the way, like I said, Catholics only make up like something like 18% of the state of Idaho.
[1:05:01] So like, yeah, sorry, like hating on Catholics isn't your silver bullet here, okay?
[1:05:07] so anyway uh so there was that and that was a it was a huge upset man it was a huge upset
[1:05:14] and I'm here for it uh and so now uh where do we stand let's see here let me just make sure that I
[1:05:24] kind of got everything that I wanted to present to you and I think we got it
[1:05:31] But I think this marks a new chapter in Idaho party politics where we can actually get to work, where we can actually focus on our home, where we can actually work with people that they don't necessarily agree on everything.
[1:05:49] And that's OK. Right. What happened to the 80 20 rule? What happened to Reagan's 80 percent rule? Right. Where we said that, hey, as long as we're 80 percent on board, we'll work together.
[1:06:02] Well, the people behind the Zionist resolution, right, they're not on board with that.
[1:06:10] People like this guy, Greg Graff, who I saw at the Idaho Young Republican meetup,
[1:06:18] he got up on stage and said, oh, as long as we agree with 80 percent.
[1:06:23] But he calls me a Nazi.
[1:06:25] He calls Brian Lenny a Nazi.
[1:06:27] He thinks Brent Regan is an extremist and that Dorothy Moon is a white supremacist or whatever.
[1:06:33] It's bullshit.
[1:06:35] So these people are just totally disingenuous.
[1:06:39] And this is what the party is rejecting.
[1:06:41] They're rejecting the infighting.
[1:06:43] They're rejecting the divisiveness.
[1:06:45] We want to work together.
[1:06:47] And so now is a golden age, I think, over the next couple of years.
[1:06:53] If you agree with me, if you live in Idaho, if you've been watching on the sidelines, not getting involved because of the Idaho Republican Party's previous stance on Israel, if you've been afraid of getting canceled from the Republican Party because you don't support Israel, now is the time to get involved.
[1:07:14] Now is the time to join.
[1:07:15] Now is the time to donate.
[1:07:17] Right?
[1:07:18] We finally have a Republican Party doing the right thing, putting America first, putting their own people first. We have to reward them. We have to reward the party when it does the right thing.
[1:07:31] So I'm calling on everybody that watches this program, please send like 50 bucks to the Idaho Republican Party. That money will be used to fight this abortion ballot initiative this November. We need to support our party when it does the right thing.
[1:07:50] so that's kind of my my plea here uh for that now uh while i was in boise uh let's see oh no no i've
[1:08:00] got more i've got i've got some more um just there were there are a lot of people by the way so so
[1:08:10] i'm making a distinction right there's a group of people who are zionist who are sick of the
[1:08:16] fighting that voted against the resolution because of that. But there is another faction.
[1:08:22] There are multiple factions in the Republican Party. We represent one such faction in the
[1:08:29] party. There are a lot of other factions. And I just want to say, you know, our faction was very
[1:08:35] well represented. This nice gentleman made up his own t-shirt with, you can see, the APAC tracker
[1:08:43] for Jim Risch and Mike Crapo
[1:08:46] and how all these people have taken money.
[1:08:50] It says end foreign bribery on it.
[1:08:52] And I told him that I'd black out his face.
[1:08:55] He said, oh, no, don't worry about it.
[1:08:57] I'm proud to wear this shirt.
[1:08:58] And I'm like, eh, let's not get you canceled, bud.
[1:09:02] But so that was cool.
[1:09:04] Now, I also, I went to the Capitol while I was in town.
[1:09:09] And, dude, this is ridiculous, okay?
[1:09:17] This is ridiculous.
[1:09:19] This is the Boise communists, okay, with the Iran flag out front.
[1:09:27] And it doesn't make any sense.
[1:09:30] These people suck.
[1:09:33] We should throw them in jail, frankly.
[1:09:35] Look at this.
[1:09:36] All you had to do was pay us enough to live?
[1:09:39] What does that have to do with standing up to genocide in Gaza or whatever?
[1:09:47] This is crazy.
[1:09:50] So, you know, disavow.
[1:09:53] I disavow this.
[1:09:54] This is goofy.
[1:09:56] You can support the Palestinians.
[1:09:59] You can be against the war without flying a foreign flag, okay?
[1:10:04] Just saying.
[1:10:05] So anyway, I was shocked, actually, to see that there.
[1:10:08] And then also just all the gay flags. I mean, we really over the next few years, we really need to find a way to cut Idaho apart.
[1:10:17] We need a North Idaho, South Idaho, East Idaho. The Mormons can have East Idaho.
[1:10:23] Everybody will be happy. I won't have to drive seven hours to Boise to watch this stuff go on.
[1:10:29] It'll be a lot more convenient. But yeah, so big, big stuff, man. Big stuff this weekend.
[1:10:34] And yeah, I just want to point it out that if you've been waiting for a sign to get involved, here it is.
[1:10:41] If you live in the state of Idaho, if you're under 40, go join the Idaho Young Republicans.
[1:10:47] If you're otherwise, if you haven't been that involved, please get involved.
[1:10:52] We need people to go door knocking. We need people to campaign. We need donations.
[1:10:57] Or else the party is going to go back into the hands of the corporate interests.
[1:11:03] It's going to go back into the hands of the lobbyists and we're going to be out on our asses again.
[1:11:10] So I don't want to see that happen.
[1:11:11] And I hope that this triggers a sea change.
[1:11:13] We had a super chat from the Winged Hussar who sent $20.
[1:11:19] Thank you, of course, for the big super chat.
[1:11:23] Winged Hussar said, I hope this will spark a wave of reversal in other states.
[1:11:28] Very encouraging.
[1:11:30] Yes, I do too.
[1:11:31] I do too.
[1:11:31] I mean, based on the response that this got on the Internet, it was by far the most popular thing that the Idaho Republican Party has done since I've lived here.
[1:11:47] And we voted on some pretty popular stuff, by the way.
[1:11:50] I don't know if I've told you this or not, but three years ago, I wrote a resolution calling for the abolition of the FBI,
[1:11:58] which was presented to that body, same group of people, and they passed that unanimously.
[1:12:07] That was pretty popular.
[1:12:10] This, head and shoulders, totally different world of popularity.
[1:12:15] I mean, this made international news.
[1:12:17] And of course, all the local news outlets, Coeur d'Alene Press, Idaho Statesman, Idaho Press, Idaho Capital Sun,
[1:12:23] Not one article written about the Israel resolution getting tossed out.
[1:12:29] Not one.
[1:12:31] Which is incredible.
[1:12:32] They don't want people knowing that.
[1:12:34] And of course this is all coming out just as like Tucker Carlson today is saying that he's leaving the Republican Party.
[1:12:40] Well, guess what?
[1:12:41] If you and I leave the Republican Party, where do you think that Israel resolution would have gone?
[1:12:49] Do you think that would have been shot down?
[1:12:51] no
[1:12:53] this is kind of like the same thing that happened
[1:12:57] with the Catholic Church in the wake of Vatican II
[1:12:58] you know they changed the church
[1:13:01] they changed the teaching
[1:13:02] and all of the good people left
[1:13:04] all the good people
[1:13:07] left the church
[1:13:09] because in good conscience
[1:13:11] they couldn't support
[1:13:12] the secular humanism
[1:13:15] and
[1:13:16] all of the changes that happened
[1:13:19] after Vatican II
[1:13:20] And so if we want to have a say, if we want to see things get better, we have to get involved.
[1:13:26] So to all the people that were saying voting doesn't matter, fuck you.
[1:13:32] This is direct proof that it does matter.
[1:13:36] And it's inspiring.
[1:13:38] It's inspiring to see a state put itself first.
[1:13:42] It's inspiring to see people putting themselves first.
[1:13:46] It's inspiring to see a state party chairwoman that is grassroots and doing the best that she can for her state.
[1:13:53] I mean, that's inspiring.
[1:13:56] It's the opposite of blackpilling.
[1:13:58] It can be done.
[1:13:59] These resolutions can be defeated.
[1:14:02] You're not going to necessarily convince everyone on their particular belief system about the end times or Israel or any of that.
[1:14:11] And frankly, we don't need to.
[1:14:12] All we need to do is agree that we need to put our state first and that we need to use our party to help us.
[1:14:26] And it's pretty simple.
[1:14:27] So I'm very encouraged.
[1:14:29] I think it's great.
[1:14:31] And I hope that you agree with me.
[1:14:33] Now, we are going to be doing some more deep diving.
[1:14:38] Not today.
[1:14:39] Not today.
[1:14:39] The show's gone on a little bit.
[1:14:41] So we'll start wrapping up in a minute here. But it is important that people know about the platform because this is what we've been arguing about for several years. This is what we've been passing rules about.
[1:14:58] You know, like we were saying how all these Democrats register as Republicans and then they run for office and stupid people, low information people that don't know any better wind up voting for them.
[1:15:09] And so the way that we've been able to parse this out is with the party platform.
[1:15:16] And to my knowledge, there is no audio version of the Idaho Republican Party platform available.
[1:15:23] So this Wednesday's show, which you may or may not want to tune into, might be a little boring for some, but I'm just going to read the party platform.
[1:15:35] So for those of you that don't have time to sit down and read a 20-page ideological document, I'll do it for you.
[1:15:44] And then you can put it on 2x speed and you can share it with your family and friends.
[1:15:48] And then you'll know what the Idaho Republican Party actually stands for.
[1:15:53] What are we fighting for?
[1:15:55] And so this is whoopsie daisy.
[1:15:59] This is the the actual platform, which will be going over on Wednesday.
[1:16:04] It is quite long, but it's very good.
[1:16:09] And frankly, there's I don't think there's anything in here that I disagree with.
[1:16:14] And so there's a lot of different parts of this.
[1:16:16] the responsibility of the government,
[1:16:18] involvement in government, education, agriculture, water,
[1:16:21] natural resources, energy,
[1:16:23] the Idaho National Labs,
[1:16:24] which is the nuclear project that we have down there
[1:16:27] in southeast Idaho,
[1:16:29] our federal lands, wildlife management,
[1:16:31] economy, health and welfare,
[1:16:32] the family, the elderly,
[1:16:35] law and order,
[1:16:36] national defense,
[1:16:39] judges,
[1:16:40] and religious liberty.
[1:16:42] Maybe that's one thing that I would have
[1:16:44] a little bit of a quibble with
[1:16:46] just from the point of view as a Catholic.
[1:16:48] But that's what we're going to do Wednesday.
[1:16:51] We're just going to read the platform
[1:16:53] because I think that's a resource that people need.
[1:16:56] I think people need to know what we stand for
[1:16:58] and why we're fighting so hard.
[1:17:00] And by the way, one of the big additions
[1:17:03] to the party platform this year
[1:17:05] from State Senator Scott Herndon.
[1:17:07] Let me see if I can pull up his post about this.
[1:17:11] he's one of my favorite
[1:17:14] legislators up here too
[1:17:16] he's a Zionist
[1:17:19] but that's okay
[1:17:19] we can be graceful
[1:17:22] here
[1:17:23] and so
[1:17:25] oh geez
[1:17:28] where did it go? I could have sworn
[1:17:30] that I saw posted
[1:17:33] anyway
[1:17:33] let's see
[1:17:34] property taxes
[1:17:37] maybe it'll pop up if I do that
[1:17:40] maybe he posted it in like a group or something.
[1:17:43] Well, anyway, the big deal is that,
[1:17:47] ah, yes, here it is.
[1:17:48] Here it is.
[1:17:49] I found it.
[1:17:49] I found it.
[1:17:49] I can read this.
[1:17:50] So this is from Scott Herndon,
[1:17:53] state senator or state senator elect, essentially.
[1:17:56] I mean, he won his primary,
[1:17:57] so he'll be going up against a Democrat.
[1:18:00] But here's what he had to say.
[1:18:01] I went quiet here for five days
[1:18:02] and it was worth every one of them.
[1:18:04] I spent the week on the floor
[1:18:05] of the Idaho Republican State Convention
[1:18:07] where we did something that this state has never done.
[1:18:11] We put the elimination of property taxes into the party platform.
[1:18:17] When the platform came to the floor, I moved to amend it
[1:18:20] and called for ending the property tax,
[1:18:23] and roughly 600 delegates adopted it by standing vote
[1:18:26] with a strong majority after debate.
[1:18:29] The photo is the vote.
[1:18:32] The platform no longer merely asks for us to reduce property taxes
[1:18:37] whenever possible. What it now says is, quote, property tax is an inherently unjust tax that
[1:18:44] converts privately owned property into government collateral and threatens homeownership. We support
[1:18:50] the elimination of property taxes in Idaho and their replacement with revenue sources that do
[1:18:56] not put a lien on a citizen's home. And no Idahoans should face the loss of their home
[1:19:02] because they cannot keep up with a government assessment of what their property might sell for.
[1:19:08] And so this is the picture of one of the votes showing that everybody agrees that we want to end.
[1:19:14] And of course, I mean, think about it, right?
[1:19:16] It's like I know people that bought property here in Idaho in the 70s and the 80s.
[1:19:22] They paid off their mortgage and now their property taxes are more than their mortgage ever was on a monthly basis.
[1:19:31] That's wrong. That's evil. That's actually evil. And it's something we can actually change here in Idaho with the legislature. So very hopeful about that. Very hopeful that maybe this year we'll be able to start seeing property taxes getting abolished. And we need to do that anyway. The income tax is illegal. Don't get me started on that.
[1:19:54] So a lot of, it's incredible what we can do when we're not fighting about foreign policy, isn't it?
[1:20:02] It's incredible when we all can come together and focus on actual issues here at home.
[1:20:08] It's amazing what we can do.
[1:20:12] And so I'm looking forward to this.
[1:20:13] I am very excited.
[1:20:16] I am very hopeful for the future.
[1:20:20] but we can't do this if you stay home.
[1:20:24] We can't do this if you don't get involved.
[1:20:29] And so, yeah, that's, that's where we're at. So yeah, Wednesday,
[1:20:33] we're going to read the, the Idaho Republican party platform.
[1:20:39] And here, I guess on the way out, we'll, we'll take a look at this.
[1:20:43] This is one of the Idaho GOP's videos.
[1:20:45] On July 3rd, 1890, Idaho officially gained statehood, making us the 43rd state in the
[1:20:53] Union. That makes us just over 130 years old. And through the years, generations of Idahoans
[1:21:00] have forged our wonderful home out of the deep canyons and rolling hills of the south,
[1:21:05] and through the winding Rocky Mountains of the north, making Idaho one of the most beautiful
[1:21:10] and unique states in the U.S. They call Idaho the Gem State, not just due to our rich history of
[1:21:16] mining, but for our generations of ranchers who defined the West, or the farmers who made our
[1:21:22] potatoes famous, or our loggers who helped to build this great nation. Generations of Americans travel
[1:21:29] to our beautiful state every year, following in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark, who braved the
[1:21:34] the treacherous Salmon River and cross the Bitterroot Mountains in search of new American
[1:21:40] soil.
[1:21:41] And while many Americans have come to call Idaho their home, we Idahoans aren't defined
[1:21:46] by the land beneath our feet, but by the spirit that lives in our hearts.
[1:21:51] We are defined by our undying belief in freedom, liberty, and especially for our love of God.
[1:21:58] Idahoans are pioneers and explorers.
[1:22:01] We're innovators and builders.
[1:22:04] We have grit.
[1:22:06] We're families, waitresses, farmers, teachers, truckers, and we're proud of our home.
[1:22:13] Because Idaho is more than the mountains and the rivers and the land.
[1:22:17] I am Idaho.
[1:22:19] I am Idaho.
[1:22:20] I am Idaho.
[1:22:22] I am Idaho.
[1:22:24] I am Idaho.
[1:22:26] I am Idaho.
[1:22:27] I am Idaho.
[1:22:28] I am Idaho.
[1:22:30] I am Idaho.
[1:22:32] I am Idaho.
[1:22:34] We are Idaho.
[1:22:35] We are Idaho.
[1:22:38] We are Idaho.
[1:22:40] We are Idaho.
[1:22:42] And as chairman of the Republican Party, I will make sure Idaho remains our Idaho.
[1:22:50] Based.
[1:22:52] God bless her.
[1:22:52] God bless Dorothy Moon and the Republican Party.
[1:22:56] Let's make the best of it.
[1:22:58] It's going to be great over the next couple of years.
[1:23:00] So I am looking forward to it.
[1:23:02] And of course, if you live in Idaho, especially North Idaho, please make sure that you get in touch with me.
[1:23:07] You can send an email to info at thebacklash.net, and we'll get you plugged in.

[1:23:12] We'll help you find your tribe.
[1:23:14] We'll help you find your community, your faction, if you will.
[1:23:17] And we can all work together and make this state better.
[1:23:20] And also, say a prayer because I'm working on getting some other interviews together.
[1:23:26] I've been talking with Stephen Thain, actually.
[1:23:28] He ran for GOP chair this last go around. He came in second place. But I think that he's an interesting fella. And I think that you guys would learn a lot from him, too.
[1:23:41] He's been in the legislature for a very, very long time, and he has a perspective on Idaho politics.
[1:23:46] And going forward, I think that these are the issues that we need to be talking about and considering.
[1:23:51] Things like property taxes, things like income taxes, resort fees.
[1:23:56] This is all the stuff that we actually need to be arguing about, whether or not we're going to defund public schools, whether or not we're going to get rid of property taxes.
[1:24:09] This stuff is important and it deserves exploration. And there really isn't anybody else doing that. So I think that that might be a direction that we go here with some of these episodes to try to get a little bit more of an understanding of the issues and so we can make good decisions, good legislative decisions as we go forward.
[1:24:32] So with that, I do need to thank our sponsors that made this show possible.
[1:24:37] Of course, odggsupply.com, whether you're going blankie mode or bug out mode,
[1:24:44] ODGG Supply, that is the Operational Detachment Guerrilla Gang,

[1:29:24] that you can hold in your hands
[1:29:26] that can't be rehypothecated by the banks.
[1:29:29] And by the way, if you are an Idaho Republican,
[1:29:33] then you should definitely be doing this
[1:29:35] because the Idaho Republican Party platform actually calls for the abolition of the Federal Reserve system.
[1:29:44] Oh, no, where did it go? No, no, no, no. Federal Reserve. There we go.
[1:29:50] We believe any inflation of a fiat money system beyond population growth is a form of theft.
[1:29:55] We call for the abolition of the private Federal Reserve money cartel, which is not federal and has no reserves.
[1:30:03] So this is the kind of stuff that's in the Idaho Republican Party platform.
[1:30:07] That's why it's based and red-pilled, by the way.
[1:30:10] And so if you are a Idaho Republican and you're not stacking precious metals, you're doing it wrong.

[1:31:14] put our country first
[1:31:15] and do right by our people
[1:31:18] and take care of the problems that we have at home
[1:31:21] because that's what's important
[1:31:23] and so yeah
