Episode 130 — Bombs, Betrayal & Blasphemy: Iran, Holy Week & Our Bishops w/ Fr. James Mawdsley

Show notes

As the war in Iran escalates, disturbing reports emerge of a U.S. strike on a girls’ school—raising serious moral questions about modern warfare and the cost of empire. At the same time, the American bishops once again signal weakness, throwing Carrie Prejean Boller under the bus and deepening the crisis of leadership داخل the Church.

Fr. James Mawdsley joins us to break it all down—from geopolitical chaos to spiritual clarity. Who really killed Jesus Christ? What is the true meaning of Holy Week? And how should Catholics respond in a world that seems increasingly unhinged?

From Tehran to Calvary, this episode connects the madness of today with the eternal truths of the Faith.

So thank you so much [0:02:24] for joining us today, Father. Thank you. Pleasure. [0:02:28] So there's been a lot going on in the world since the last time that we spoke. You know, [0:02:32] the last time we talked was around Christmas, you know, Christmas and Easter Catholics here, [0:02:36] bringing the priests on the show. But, you know, we were talking about the ice stuff that was going [0:02:42] crazy a few months ago. Now, of course, we've moved on. There's a new crisis in this country [0:02:48] and frankly around the world, the war that was launched in Iran. We've been talking a lot about [0:02:55] this on the show. We've got Catholics in Washington, D.C., the head of the CIA, John Ratcliffe. You've [0:03:03] got Marco Rubio, J.D. Vance, and they are all on board with this war. And of course, the opening [0:03:10] salvo of the war, one of the first bombs that was dropped in Iran was on a girls' school, [0:03:17] killing 165 girls ages 7 to 12. So, Father, what are your thoughts, especially as a Brit, [0:03:27] but also as a Catholic priest, what are your thoughts about what's been going on in Iran? [0:03:33] it's a demonic attack on iran and which should be transparent that what israel is doing [0:03:43] and their subversion of using the us and to some degree the uk um it's obvious that's evil but what [0:03:52] satan wants i think is for as many people as possible to consent to this so for example [0:03:58] the bombs that dropped on the girls school two of them 40 minutes apart they that was one of the [0:04:06] first targets hit right a couple of hours after the supreme leader was hit so it's a priority target [0:04:12] there's time to research this and you could ask yourself is it deliberate or not given everything [0:04:18] we've seen in gaza where they want to destroy schools universities hospitals they want to hit [0:04:25] ambulances and first responders they they want to kill children and their israelis on tv [0:04:32] and delighted with the killing of children explaining how you have to do this to wipe out [0:04:37] the next generation then it fits with their approach that this attack on the girls school [0:04:45] was deliberate but whether or not it was deliberate they want westerners to assent and [0:04:51] say yes this is worth it that's the cost of war which is absolutely nonsense that we this has been [0:04:59] happening since carpet bombing in world war ii the targeting of civilians as a method of war of [0:05:06] total war which was never part of christendom it's the jewish mindset and that you have catholics [0:05:13] excusing this and saying oh it might have been a mistake but they're not making an investigation [0:05:20] not exposing what was behind that, which shows they're insincere, and they're willing to tolerate [0:05:26] its continuation, that means spiritually Satan has got them as well. They're culpable because [0:05:33] they're consenting to this, saying it's worth it. It's just not worth it. The souls of these girls [0:05:38] and their parents and their teachers belong to God. And there's been a 40-year propaganda campaign [0:05:47] to demonize Iran so that people will accept this. [0:05:52] And that's all come from world Jewry and Netanyahu. [0:06:02] What's it going to take to wake people up? [0:06:04] Well, there's people who are not going to wake up. [0:06:08] They're damning themselves by supporting this aggression. [0:06:12] Yeah. [0:06:13] You know, I've been talking about this with my wife [0:06:16] and with some friends. [0:06:17] Do you think it's possible that giving your assent to what has been going on, [0:06:24] the actions in Iran, the actions in Gaza, [0:06:28] do you think that those Christians, Christian Zionists, [0:06:32] that give their assent to this willful murder of the innocent, [0:06:36] do you think that that provides an opening for demonic possession? [0:06:41] not necessarily possession which is quite extreme but you've all you've switched off the spiritual [0:06:51] lights how can you have charity for your neighbor or how can you have got respect for god as the [0:06:58] creator the only one who can create a human soul and he creates them for his purpose and you think [0:07:05] it's okay to have those souls wiped out for what because rome catholic rome elevated europe and the [0:07:16] world north africa the near east and then the world israel's strategy is to turn everything [0:07:23] around it to rubble and that's the only way it can hope to have any regional dominance [0:07:28] and if we ascend to what it's doing it we will deservedly suffer the same thing eventually [0:07:35] enslavement basically yeah um so i don't think it goes as far as demonic possession in those who [0:07:44] just assent to it who are quite remote who aren't making these decisions or pushing the strategy [0:07:50] but you've you've switched off the spiritual light in yourself yeah i i think that there's [0:07:57] something to that you know it's just been it's been crazy uh at least for me you know over here [0:08:02] We've kind of been in this battle over the past several years now with some of these Christian Zionists. [0:08:08] And to me, anyway, it seems like a lot of these people are in some way possessed by some wicked spirit. [0:08:16] You know, there's this group chat that these Christian Zionists here in North Idaho have. [0:08:22] And we do have a little bit of visibility into it. [0:08:25] And it just blows me away. [0:08:27] This was from last week, maybe 10 days ago. [0:08:30] this guy who he ran for attorney general. The guy's a lawyer. And in this little group chat, [0:08:40] you know, they're going back and forth screaming about me because they're very upset that somebody [0:08:45] would be out there against the war, against the actions that Israel is taking. And he actually [0:08:52] said, speaking of me, all he has to do is slit his throat and the throats of his entire family [0:08:59] and the job against the great Satan will be done. [0:09:03] And I mean, is that a threat? [0:09:06] It strikes me as so incredibly evil and deranged, [0:09:10] these people fantasizing about my children dying, a bloody death. [0:09:19] I saw that, and that is, I wouldn't say it's demonic possession, [0:09:23] but it is demonic. [0:09:24] Yes. [0:09:24] Why would that enter your mind, and why would you post it? [0:09:29] You had the right word. [0:09:32] It's a fantasy, a sick fantasy. [0:09:36] It reminds me of this, back in 1190 in York, [0:09:41] there was a couple of Jews had gone down to London [0:09:44] for the coronation of the king, [0:09:45] and they were flaunting their wealth. [0:09:47] And some low-level English nobles who were in debt to them [0:09:52] decided to attack the Jewish community in York, [0:09:55] basically to get their debts wiped out. [0:09:58] so this very savage attack on a large number of jews who've taken yeah this is it father [0:10:04] william of newbury he died in 1198 so this was shortly after the attack he wrote up his account [0:10:10] and the they said to the jews if you'll be baptized we'll let you go and some of the jews [0:10:17] came out peacefully ready to be baptized whether sincere or not and the mob killed them and there [0:10:23] was even a monk a hermit sorry he's a priest egging on this attack saying you're doing a service for [0:10:30] god if you kill these jews now and so this of course people will say is uh an example of [0:10:37] anti-semitism in the church and the church picking on jews the opposite is the case of how father [0:10:44] william has written this up that that monk ended up getting too close to the hermit sorry close to [0:10:49] the walls and a rock came and killed him and said this is god's judgment because they have blood on [0:10:53] their hands without authority to take life and although father william is saying the jews are [0:11:00] perfidious they're crucifiers of christ he gives no quarter to them spiritually but he's saying you [0:11:05] have no business to murder them like this to attack and harass them and he he's the one that [0:11:11] tells us men did it to get their debts written off um and he quotes psalm 58 saying slay them [0:11:21] not. God's enemies will be dispersed, but do not kill them. Do not kill the Jews, which Saint [0:11:27] Bernard of Claveau had preached a few decades before, which Saint Augustine had written. [0:11:33] So here you have the church giving the true teaching, which if men are left to themselves [0:11:37] without Christ, we'd all be savages attacking each other. I mean, not total savage, but life [0:11:44] would be rough. And yet the church is coming in with this teaching saying, show mercy to the [0:11:49] enemy, honor to the enemy in the way that you handle them. And this is what has changed the [0:11:55] world. And so the point about the cutting the throats is the Jews who were left in the keep, [0:12:02] they decided they would cut the throats of their own children and wives. And then the senior, [0:12:08] the rabbi, Yom Jor or something, I forget his name. He would cut the throats of the remaining [0:12:13] men and then himself and they in their account of this count this as a great holy act cutting the [0:12:21] throats of their wives and children now it is a horrific situation they're in undoubtedly but [0:12:28] cutting the throats of your children there's no answer and for this guy to write that in a tweet [0:12:35] that he's somehow dreaming and he thinks it's an answer i mean it's on two levels just to write [0:12:42] that is sick. The man is a complete sicko. And the fact that he's so Zionist, and he's talking [0:12:49] about Iran nuking America, which is just ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. And yet that is his [0:12:55] justification that children get killed and his vile attacks on you because you oppose this war. [0:13:04] The man is spiritually, he belongs to the synagogue of Satan. [0:13:07] Yeah, it seems clear that this divide is widening and that these supporters of Zionism are just increasingly getting more detached from reality. [0:13:21] The world has gone mad. The world is a crazy, sick place. [0:13:25] And, you know, one of the things that I think can help maybe restore this and one of the biggest weapons I think that we have as Catholics in this battle is the liturgies that are coming up, the Holy Week liturgies. [0:13:41] And so we talked about this a little bit, maybe a year ago, but, you know, I think it's worth talking about again. [0:13:49] There were some serious and significant changes that were made prior, actually, to Vatican II with the reform of the Holy Week in 1955 that was done by Pope Pius XII. [0:14:03] And I think it's a really interesting conversation. [0:14:07] There's a lot of different angles to it as well, you know, talking about things like [0:14:11] sedificantism, whether or not the Pope has the authority to change the Mass. [0:14:15] So starting off in this, I guess, what is the, just as a refresher, what was the meat [0:14:24] and potatoes, I guess, of the change that was made to Holy Week, and why is it important? [0:14:30] you're absolutely right that holy week is our answer to this madness of the world [0:14:35] and it's really awful to be online right to see what what's happening unless our souls [0:14:42] are fixated on god through christ that will take us under because it's unbearable what's happening [0:14:51] um so holy week which is about the institution of the holy eucharist and the priesthood [0:15:00] for maundy thursday then the sacrifice of christ on calvary good friday [0:15:06] the waiting in hope holy saturday and the resurrection is the sunday this is reality [0:15:13] it is the model for all of history and for every interaction of a soul with god if they will [0:15:20] come to him. This is the way to him to understand this. The Jews in rejection of Jesus Christ [0:15:27] don't understand the Father and the Son cooperating with united will in the sacrifice of Christ on [0:15:34] Calvary. So they see Abraham raising a knife over Isaac, ready to cut his throat as Isaac is bound [0:15:42] on Mount Moriah. And of course the angel comes and stops Abraham, but in that spiritual darkness, [0:15:50] they seem to think there's something good about cutting the throat of your son. [0:15:55] And then the son rebelling against the father, um, with a jealous resentment that the father [0:16:02] is exercising power only for oppression. Um, so with the traditional Holy week, [0:16:11] we're presented with rites and realities and sacraments truths which are the oldest [0:16:18] in the church's liturgy and her calendar there are many many changes in fact in the 55 holy week [0:16:27] but the one i've focused on is the good friday prayer for the jews which was changed in 1955 [0:16:34] because the jews were lobbying for this in the 1920s and the church was adamant no it will not [0:16:40] happen and then in the 1950s the church gave way took out the word perfidious from the prayer in [0:16:48] 1959 and in 1955 she said everyone should genuflect in this prayer but for a thousand years [0:16:56] more and more people had been refusing to genuflect in the prayer for the jews [0:17:01] and their priests and the bishops over time agreed with the census fidelium agreed with [0:17:06] the faithful, it's not appropriate to genuflect in the prayer for the Jews. And Rome eventually, [0:17:12] more than five, six hundred years ago, also approved this and made it universal practice [0:17:17] that you will genuflect in every other intercession on Good Friday for the church, for the Pope, [0:17:22] for the different states and orders in the church, for schismatics and heretics, for the heathen, [0:17:27] but not for the Jews. Why? Because the Jews are still mocking Christ. As they subverted the Roman [0:17:34] soldiers and had them dress Jesus in purple with a crown of thorns saying, hail King of the Jews, [0:17:39] in mockery. So the faithful, that we do not want to be associated with this Jewish mockery of Jesus [0:17:48] on Good Friday, because the Jews were still doing it. At that attack on the Jews in York, [0:17:56] the men who instigated it were trying to get rid of their debts, trying to kill the Jewish money [0:18:01] lenders. But they whipped up the mob who were ready to believe them because in 1144, you had [0:18:09] the case of, was it little Hugh of Lincoln? St. William of Norwich? Yeah, William of Norwich. And [0:18:17] then 1161, maybe Hugh of Lincoln and 1182, I think Harold of Edmundsbury. You had these stories of [0:18:25] boys being kidnapped and crucified, which carried a lot of weight. And they were investigated by [0:18:33] church tribunals all across Europe and Eastern Europe, and in many cases upheld, and Jews were [0:18:39] convicted and executed for it, which the church isn't going to do lightly. So they're very, [0:18:47] very credible. Maybe not every case. Certainly there would have been malicious accusations on [0:18:52] the back of the real ones um and then in the 50s the church went soft on this caved into jewish [0:19:00] lobbying and i think it's a a cover for the whole changes to the liturgy over the next 30 years [0:19:08] until we now have something that's inoffensive to the world um that's spiritually gay the whole [0:19:16] novus order setup that's cutting us off from our fathers in faith because we're meant to think that [0:19:22] they are evil anti-Semites and we're not going to do things the way they did it. But since the [0:19:28] fake Holocaust story, the Jews have browbeaten everyone into thinking that we're deep down [0:19:35] dangerous and we need to be contained. You can't have national sovereignty. The church can't be [0:19:43] herself because that's a threat to the world. And that's why they lobbied for changes to the [0:19:49] liturgy and people who have believed who've been sucked in by the spirit of this world [0:19:54] cooperated i mean there was desires from catholic priests especially in holland and belgium and [0:20:02] germany france in the 20s and 30s for liturgical change and it's the jews who kind of um broke the [0:20:13] seal on it so that all these changes could flood through. And if we will on Good Friday not [0:20:20] genuflect in the prayer for the Jews, that's the way of appealing to God to show that we love him [0:20:26] above all things and we don't have a false idea of obedience. So if we come round to it, why has [0:20:32] Pope Leo apparently softened on the traditional mass recently asking the French bishops to find [0:20:38] ways to be generous in the provision for it i think that's a direct result of both the fssp [0:20:45] and the sspx in their different ways and that being a trad being a faithful catholic [0:20:51] is the winning strategy it wins we can have that i've spoken a lot we can come back to that why [0:20:58] those two groups both of them have produced this good fruit and they're not necessarily [0:21:05] taking on everything in an over head-on way but they're being faithful priests right they're [0:21:13] preaching the gospel they're taking the sacraments to people they're saving souls so when i don't [0:21:21] it's nothing wrong with having a strong identity and not liking the other group but to condemn the [0:21:29] other, for SEDEs to condemn them all, or for Novos to condemn all trads. I think they're missing [0:21:39] the great plan of how God is using different groups of the different calling, different [0:21:42] constitutions, that the enemy can't get around this array of forces. Yeah. Yeah. You know, [0:21:49] it was interesting. I was, and there's a lot here that I want to unpack, but it was, it was funny. [0:21:54] I was actually out with one of my priests last night, and where was I going with that? [0:22:06] Dang, the ADD, man, it kicked in. [0:22:09] But talking about these distinctions and the splits among the traditional factions of the church, [0:22:16] it's like there are people that are set of acantists, for those that are not up to speed [0:22:22] on all the differences between traditional Catholics. [0:22:25] Sedevacantists believe that we haven't had a pope for basically like the last 70 years. [0:22:31] Then there's groups like the SSPX, which believe, well, he's the pope, he's a bad pope. [0:22:36] But there are Sedevacantists that believe that the biggest problem in the church right [0:22:39] now are groups like the SSPX, because they accept, you know, Leo or Francis as being [0:22:47] the pope. [0:22:49] Therefore, the SSPX is the enemy number one. [0:22:52] And then there are people in the SSPX that view the set of Acantists as enemy number one in the church, [0:22:58] and that these people have this slay, slay, slay, slay, slay, slay, slay, leading people astray or whatever. [0:23:03] But I think in reality, the enemies of the church are the ones that have always been the enemies of the church. [0:23:11] They've been the enemies since Calvary, since, you know, they brought Christ and Barabbas in front of the chief priests, [0:23:18] and they shouted, give us Barabbas, as opposed to, you know, free Christ or whatever. [0:23:22] Um, so, you know, I, I think that there is something to be said for that. Um, you know, [0:23:27] the, that anybody that is, uh, trying to make another Catholic, whether they be a set of a [0:23:32] cantist or a traditionalist, or, you know, somebody in the Ecclesia Dei communities, um, [0:23:38] you know, these people need to be given crayons that they can go eat in the corner of the room, [0:23:42] uh, amongst themselves. And then the rest of us, I think, you know, we can have a good [0:23:46] conversation about where we are in the church. But I do want to get your thoughts and opinions [0:23:52] on the consecrations that have been announced by the SSPX. But we'll get to that in a minute. [0:23:59] We're still sticking with Holy Week. And there was a tweet that I saw that came out yesterday, [0:24:06] I believe, from Rabbi Brian Samuel. I'm not sure if you've... Since you've been banned from X, [0:24:12] I'm not sure if you've seen this, but Rabbi Samuel tweeted this out. [0:24:17] I hate to tell you this, but the date of Easter is based on Jew hatred. [0:24:24] The earliest Christians celebrated the resurrection in line with Passover. [0:24:28] This is clear from the early church fathers. [0:24:30] Even the Greek word that the KJV translates as Easter is Pascha, clearly Passover. [0:24:38] So why did the Council of Nicaea change Easter to the first Sunday after the full moon after the spring equinox? [0:24:44] You know, and then he gives quotes from Constantine. [0:24:47] But basically, you know, this whole idea, Easter is based on Jew hatred. [0:24:55] And I think this is just a wicked, wicked lie. [0:25:00] You know, I mean, Christ, and it's so funny, too, because I get, you know, all this flack, people saying, oh, cut your kids' throats and all this stuff. [0:25:06] And it's like, my line, ever since I woke up and became aware of the antagonism between Judaism and Christianity, the line, at least that I give, is always the same. [0:25:20] And it's, of course I love the Jews. [0:25:23] Christ told us to love our enemies. [0:25:26] So it's not based on hate. [0:25:29] It's based on love. [0:25:30] trying to bring these people that the Bible says have been spiritually blinded. [0:25:38] And it's about bringing them to the light. [0:25:40] It's not about hating them or hatred of them or whatever. [0:25:44] But the dates of Easter is all about light. [0:25:47] Jesus is the light of the world, and he rises from the tomb. [0:25:51] So whereas the Jewish liturgical calendar was a lunar calendar dependent on the moon, [0:25:56] the christian calendar you have both movable feasts and fixed feasts so easter is movable [0:26:04] according to both the sun and the moon and christmas for example is fixed so we have both [0:26:10] that the easter is the first sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox [0:26:18] so you're bringing in the solar cycle and the lunar cycle and our understanding of that on earth [0:26:25] because Jesus is the Logos [0:26:28] to whom the whole universe is made. [0:26:30] This is a new development and a progression [0:26:33] from the Jewish calendar for Moses, just Luna. [0:26:41] That's why. [0:26:42] It's because Jesus is the light of the world. [0:26:44] And to say that it's Jew hatred, [0:26:47] the rabbi must know that the date of Easter [0:26:49] is when Jesus rose from the dead [0:26:52] after being crucified [0:26:53] because of the bloodlust of the Sanhedrin and the Jewish elders and Pharisees, [0:26:59] who so desperately wanted their nation and their place and were afraid that the Romans would take [0:27:07] it away. The high priest said, we have to kill Jesus or the Romans will take it away. [0:27:13] So they think it's acceptable to kill a man, a just man, illegally against the law of Moses [0:27:19] with a fake trial on false charges, which no one could substantiate, absolutely railroading all the [0:27:26] laws of Moses to hang on to something worldly, not trusting in God. And yet, before that atrocious [0:27:35] murder of the son of God, they did lose their place in their temple. And yes, the Romans, if you like, [0:27:43] came and took it away. Roman Catholics, not the Roman Empire, because we have the true temple and [0:27:47] the true nation and the true people of God who are Catholics. [0:27:53] So that rabbi is totally in the dark. [0:27:56] And if our hierarchy and our Catholic Jewish dialogue affirm him in that and act apologetic [0:28:05] and subservient, they're basically writing him off. [0:28:10] They have no spiritual care for him. [0:28:12] They're leaving him in the dark. [0:28:14] if we say to him, Rabbi, you're nuts. [0:28:18] Your people murdered the Son of God [0:28:20] and you approve of it. [0:28:22] And you're still whining today that you're the victims. [0:28:25] And you're trying to accuse the bride of Christ [0:28:28] in her liturgical calendar of hatred. [0:28:33] And you're still seething over Jesus [0:28:36] bringing light to the world. [0:28:37] He's not gonna like hearing that. [0:28:39] He's not gonna come and give us a hug. [0:28:42] But over the years, they might go lie on their bed and think about it, examine their conscience. [0:28:49] Why do they hate Jesus till now? [0:28:52] Why? [0:28:53] And they'll find that the devil is at the bottom of that. [0:28:57] Yeah. [0:28:58] You know, and this is something that's kind of broken out, at least here in America. [0:29:02] I'm not sure what the media penetration has been in places like the UK and Europe. [0:29:07] But we had this woman kind of come out of nowhere, a recent convert to the Catholic faith, Carrie Prejean Bowler. [0:29:16] And she was appointed to something called the Religious Liberty Commission. [0:29:20] We've never had anything like this in the country. [0:29:21] It was run by the Department of Justice. [0:29:24] And at one of these meetings, Carrie, you know, started quizzing people on this commission about whether or not Catholics can be Zionist, [0:29:33] whether or not a Catholic that doesn't support Zionism is this anti-Semitism. Can you be Catholic, [0:29:40] not a Zionist, but also not an anti-Semite? And basically, the answer is no. She got kicked off of [0:29:47] the Religious Liberty Commission. And more than that, she actually got denounced by the other two [0:29:53] bishops that were on that commission, Bishop Barron and Bishop Dolan. And it's just incredible. [0:30:01] Let me see if I can pull up. There was a post I made, actually. Let me pull it up. And it was of Bishop Barron speaking with Ben Shapiro several years ago, basically denying the Catholic truth that there is no way to come to the Father except through the Son. [0:30:25] uh let me let me pull this up give me one second and we'll uh we'll watch this clip and then i'd [0:30:33] love i'd love your commentary on it here we go start with the most awkward of the awkward questions [0:30:39] yeah i don't really care about this question particularly much but i get this question a lot [0:30:43] which is you know as a jew how does it feel that there are other religions that don't think you're [0:30:48] getting into heaven so let me ask you what's the catholic view on who gets into heaven and who [0:30:52] doesn't. I feel like I lead a pretty good life, a very religiously based life in which I try to [0:30:56] keep not just the Ten Commandments, but a solid 603 other commandments as well. And I spend an [0:31:01] awful lot of my time promulgating what I would consider to be Judeo-Christian virtues, particularly [0:31:05] in Western societies. So what's the Catholic view of me? Am I basically screwed here? [0:31:10] No. The Catholic view, go back to the Second Vatican Council, says it very clearly. I mean, [0:31:14] Christ is the privileged route to salvation. May God so love the world, he gave his only son that [0:31:18] we might find eternal life. So that's the privileged route. However, Vatican II clearly [0:31:23] teaches that someone outside the explicit Christian faith can be saved. Now, they're saved through the [0:31:28] grace of Christ, indirectly received. So I mean, the grace is coming from Christ, but it might be [0:31:33] received according to your conscience. So if you're following your conscience sincerely, or in your [0:31:38] case, you're following the commandments of the law sincerely, yeah, you can be saved. Now, that [0:31:43] doesn't conduce to a complete relativism. We still would say the privileged route and the route that [0:31:48] God has offered to humanity is the route of his son. But no, you can be saved. Even Vatican II [0:31:55] says an atheist of goodwill can be saved because in following his conscience, if he does, John [0:32:01] Henry Newman said the conscience is the aboriginal vicar of Christ in the soul. It's a very interesting [0:32:06] characterization that it is, in fact, the voice of Christ. If he's the Logos made flesh, right, [0:32:12] he's the divine mind or reason made flesh, that when I follow my conscience, I'm following him, [0:32:17] whether I know it explicitly or not. [0:32:19] So even the atheist, Vatican II teaches, of goodwill can be saved. [0:32:24] So is Catholicism act-based or faith-based? [0:32:26] Because this has been sort of the traditional distinction between Judaism, for example, and Christianity, [0:32:30] is Judaism is a very act-based religion where it's all about what you do in this life [0:32:34] and that earns you points in heaven. [0:32:36] And then there's the faith-based religions that are more based on [0:32:39] you believe in the truth, the way, and the life, and now you're in. [0:32:42] Where does Catholicism actually stand, or is that division too stark? [0:32:45] No, I would say it's love-based. [0:32:47] God is love. God so loved the world, he sent his only son. We're being drawn into the divine love. [0:32:54] Now, do we have to accept that love as an act of faith? Of course, right? So God makes this [0:33:00] great offer in Christ. Is it accepted in faith? Yeah. Aquinas says faith is the door of the [0:33:06] spiritual life. Without faith, you can't get into the spiritual life. That means a trust in the [0:33:10] divine love. So, Father, what are your thoughts about this? Because I remember when it first came [0:33:17] out, I fell on the floor, darn near fell on the floor, because it strikes me as heretical [0:33:25] to sit there and say something like this. What are your thoughts? I mean, you've actually been [0:33:30] to seminary. I'm just a lay person. You've been to seminary. You've studied this. You live this [0:33:35] in your life. Is that heresy? Is it the faith? Where are we at with this? [0:33:42] there's no salvation outside the church so when you we all know our biological life will come to [0:33:49] an end we will die if the the holy trinity is not living in you that means you're in a state of [0:33:55] grace when your biological life ends then you will go to hell there's going to be no change after [0:34:02] your death in the moment of your death the blessed trinity needs to be living in you through the [0:34:08] sacred humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ through his body, blood, and soul. That's the only way to [0:34:14] connect with God because when you die, you can't bring yourself back to life. You can't give yourself [0:34:19] eternal life. You just can't. You're powerless. You're a creature. The only one who can is God, [0:34:25] and he's given us this life to assent to him, and God doesn't fail in his communication. [0:34:32] Ben Shapiro is well aware that Jesus Christ is taught by the church to be the son of God. [0:34:38] If he's consciously rejecting Jesus, then there is no way for him to get to heaven. [0:34:44] He knows who Jesus is. [0:34:47] He needs to ask God for forgiveness for rejecting Jesus, receive him, be baptized. [0:34:53] Now, if someone intends to get baptized, that's their desire, [0:34:58] and they get killed on the way to the church, [0:35:00] God can deal with that soul as he pleases. [0:35:03] if they're by martyrdom then you have the baptism of blood if some atheist repents on his deathbed [0:35:13] and calls out to the true god then who knows what god can do in their soul but they're either [0:35:19] incorporated into christ into the catholic church if you don't die as a member of christ you cannot [0:35:26] get to heaven. So it's clear, we don't just go back to Vatican II, as the bishop said, [0:35:35] go back to the scriptures, there is no way to the Father except through the Son. [0:35:39] Full stop. And he is Jesus Christ. He's not the preferred way, or what was the expression? [0:35:45] The privileged path. [0:35:46] He's the only way. And what's the worst that can happen if you say that to Ben Shapiro? [0:35:54] he's not going to like it he might mock it but at least he can go away and think about it [0:36:01] yeah there will be consequences for the financing of the diocese if they keep saying these things [0:36:07] finances are going to dry up yeah but it's never mind it's worth it we can we can cope with poverty [0:36:14] um so [0:36:17] i yeah this is not this is not how the saints have taught the way to salvation right speaking of [0:36:28] finances uh there was a story that uh hit the um it hit the uh the feeds this week the vatican [0:36:36] has appointed a new director of the roi uh which is of course the vatican bank [0:36:42] the director that was chosen is none other than francois paulie the former director of the [0:36:51] rothschild family uh he is now the head of the new vatican bank uh father what should we make [0:37:00] of this uh has the vatican been co-opted by the rothschilds uh what are we doing here why why do [0:37:08] we have this yes it has um it doesn't obviously it's not over but it is worldly-minded men who [0:37:17] think this is a necessity now to bow to mammon that the vatican i think started taking rothschild [0:37:25] loans in the 1830s 1850s i think i have to check that so it has a long history and even prior to [0:37:33] the reformation there was a catholic banker um who was very well connected with the jews on good [0:37:42] terms with jewish bankers and it's him that persuaded the the pope who is needed a lot of [0:37:49] finance for the building of saint peter's basilica or the rebuilding of it um they would find ways to [0:37:57] get the church's clear teaching against usury to blur the lines and to say oh there's circumstances [0:38:03] where it's acceptable um so it's a it's a long problem you know it's it's not just the last [0:38:11] 20 years or 200 years it goes back to just before the reformation um so yeah it's a problem and to [0:38:21] go to that lady on the religious liberty commission i think the headline point is that [0:38:29] she's absolutely correct about Zionism being incompatible with Catholicism. [0:38:35] And not just that it's not a supernatural fulfillment of the Old Testament, [0:38:41] but that on a natural level in the temporal world, it's evil. [0:38:45] The state of Israel is a terrorist state without any legitimacy. [0:38:48] I'm not sure she would go that far. [0:38:50] But the secondary point is how she raised that on the commission. [0:38:56] And that you have a woman doing this in public life. [0:38:59] They're secondary, which people can argue with. [0:39:04] But I think the primary thing that the church and the bishops should affirm is her correctness in rejecting Zionism and her courage for saying it. [0:39:14] And when you're on a commission and you have to say a difficult thing and you know you're going to be attacked and pilliared and probably kicked off, it's very difficult to do that in a completely calm and gentle way. [0:39:26] so i'm not um too troubled by the second secondary issues she's she's absolutely correct and [0:39:35] please god it's like the good friday prayer not genuflecting the restoration of the church must [0:39:42] come from the hierarchy but it will be perhaps their response to the faithful [0:39:47] seeing that the faithful are refusing to go along with jewish lies and jewish power [0:39:52] absolutely refusing and eventually the clerics and the bishops and the vatican will say [0:39:58] this is a wake-up call for us to return to the fullness of the faith the full traditional liturgy [0:40:05] let's do it it's the way that arose for not genuflating to the jews is through the faithful [0:40:13] it's certainly the holy spirit blowing through the church and to hear now catholics speak against [0:40:19] sionism i think the only bishop who's come out in public defense of her is bishop strickland [0:40:26] god bless him but there are many bishops in the middle east who would absolutely support what [0:40:34] she's saying bishops in palestine and syria and iraq but we're not giving them a voice because [0:40:42] we're loudmouthed, so self-centered about hearing our own voices. I think in the Vatican, though, [0:40:50] they do hear some of those voices from those bishops. So America has a problem like this [0:40:56] document, Translate Hate, which is a product of the American Jewish Committee and the [0:41:02] U.S. Bishops' Conference, which is possibly also a product of the Jews. And it's just [0:41:11] crazy, yeah, Jewish attempt to ban free speech and to crush anyone who opposes them. [0:41:20] Yeah. [0:41:20] But the Palestinian bishops that Tim Flanders had an interview with one, [0:41:25] they absolutely excoriate this document and the U.S. bishops for producing that. [0:41:30] And I think the Vatican will hear both sides, but then let's hope they do something about it. [0:41:38] Right. [0:41:38] Right. [0:41:39] Yeah, I've been hearing from Tim Gordon. [0:41:42] I'm not sure if you're in touch with him. [0:41:44] He's a good friend of mine, and it seems like he's got some connection to be able to write to the hierarchy. [0:41:51] But they're attempting to get the DDF, the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, to come out and make a statement. [0:41:59] We've seen, like you were saying, we've seen statements come from Cardinal Pizzaballa, the heads of the patriarchs of the churches in Jerusalem that have condemned Christian Zionism as a destructive heresy that breeds contempt among different faith communities. [0:42:19] It puts people at each other's throats. [0:42:21] but you know in America you know it's just amazing to me you know in response to all of this that's [0:42:29] been going on with with Carrie Prejean Bowler the USCCB put out not a statement kind of clarifying [0:42:36] the actual teaching of the church but it looks like it was written by somebody from the anti-defamation [0:42:41] league and we had one of our you know ostensibly one of the best bishops in the country Bishop [0:42:48] Sample from, he's actually our archbishop here in the Pacific Northwest. He's over in Portland. [0:42:55] He released a statement. We can watch this real quick. It's about a minute long. [0:42:59] But instead of making the proper distinctions here, he does the work of the ADL and the AJC. [0:43:06] Let's take a listen. I'll be back. I find it unwatchable. [0:43:09] listen. [0:43:10] Talk in the truth. [0:43:12] And so to reject the conspiracies and lies that lead to harassment and even violence [0:43:18] against our Jewish brothers and sisters. [0:43:20] There is a strong connection between religious freedom and working to counter anti-Semitism. [0:43:26] As Nostra Aetate puts it, [0:43:28] in a rejection of every persecution against any man, the Church, mindful of the patrimony she [0:43:35] shares with the Jews and moved not by political reasons but by the gospel's spiritual love, [0:43:43] decries hatred, persecutions, displays of anti-Semitism directed against Jews at any time [0:43:51] and by anyone. The Jewish community is attacked at a far higher rate than any other religious [0:43:58] group in the United States. If we Catholics, in truly living out the gospel, are to defend [0:44:04] religious freedom with integrity, we must clearly speak out against anti-Semitism. [0:44:13] So this is the official response. [0:44:18] Yeah, it's embarrassing. And he is, by other accounts, a good bishop as far as bishops go, [0:44:23] right and conservative if i just pick up one thing there when he said that jews in america [0:44:29] suffer more attacks than any other religious group there needs to be three qualifications on that [0:44:34] um one is that they report um opposition to zionism as an anti-semitic attack right so there's a whole [0:44:43] bunch of your stats second they do a whole lot of it themselves fake attacks that they're actually [0:44:49] doing for the sake of publicity. There's been so many documented cases of that. And third, [0:44:55] they're the most obnoxious, evil, provocative group on the planet. So they should expect some [0:45:01] resistance. I'm not justifying criminal activity, vandalism or assault. No, exactly. There's a bunch [0:45:10] of your attacks or anti-Semitic attacks. It's just Jews' garbage lies, which have been going on for [0:45:18] 2,000 years. Yeah, it's just incredible. This video was from several years ago. We got a [0:45:24] Hasidic rabbi that goes and paints a swastika on the street. There was another one recently I saw [0:45:31] there was a guy on like a bicycle that spray painted. They plant bombs. Yes. You know, in what [0:45:38] way are they our brothers and sisters as well? Let him clarify this. There's no spiritual affinity [0:45:44] of brothers and sisters except that of Cain and Abel, the elder brother trying to murder, [0:45:49] who murders Abel because he's jealous of his sacrifice, of Esau and Jacob. Esau hating [0:45:55] Jacob because we Christians actually inherited everything that God had promised, and they lost [0:46:02] out on it because they're interested in a bowl of pottage in the carnal things. So whenever a bishop [0:46:10] wants to say they are our brothers let him be honest and say they're the murderous hateful [0:46:16] brothers or like ishmael sexually trying to corrupt the young isaac which is why sarah had him thrown [0:46:24] out the the household and which is the church protecting us from jewish depravity even bishop [0:46:32] strickland in his statement he had to insert this line we condemn all forms of hatred or something [0:46:37] to be honest about three years ago people picked up on my mistake here i would say yeah there's no [0:46:46] place for hatred but these fearless honest catholics who have very little platform because [0:46:53] no one will platform them they point out a whole bunch of scriptures to me where it's clear that [0:46:58] god does hate sin i mean so okay god hates the sin but he also the obstinate sinner who sets [0:47:07] himself against God, there is a kind of, now because God is love, the only thing, the only act [0:47:14] God has is love. That's true. But in our interactions with him, if we're rejecting his love, denying him, [0:47:21] then what we encounter from him is like hate. He has, he gives no life to that. So we've got, [0:47:29] we've got to stop, I think, saying we condemn all forms of hatred. No, no, we need to have a healthy [0:47:37] hatred to hate what is evil but but to remember there's a way of dealing with it which has to be [0:47:42] reasonable lawful merciful charitable yeah always it doesn't mean you don't hate it though [0:47:48] it is a deep spiritual neutering of us when first you deny god deny the blessed trinity [0:47:57] or deny the incarnation of the son of god is one way of neutering a soul another way [0:48:02] is to say you cannot hate because God pulls us and pushes us. He pulls us with the good and the [0:48:10] true, and he pushes us away from evil. So the more power the Jews are getting in the world, [0:48:16] the more people see how evil it is and how good what the church has brought. If we're not smart [0:48:22] enough to see how good the church is, God will show us the alternative. And that's what's bringing [0:48:29] people to the church now because they see what a godless world is turning into. [0:48:33] So we need to have a proper hatred, a perfect hatred. [0:48:37] The psalmist says, I hated them with a perfect hatred. [0:48:40] That's King David in the Psalms. [0:48:43] St. Augustine explains a perfect hatred is to hate the sin, love the sinner. [0:48:49] but there's nothing about the godless and about judaism [0:48:55] that we we shouldn't admit that we hate that right of course we do right because it's death [0:49:04] but for the people caught up in it we want their conversion and not we can't push them force them [0:49:12] we can pray for it on good friday fearlessly and not falling down because of their lies and their [0:49:19] pressure on the church yeah now there there is also some interesting stuff uh that has been [0:49:24] coming out recently um because of the actions of the the state of israel um there there seems to [0:49:31] be at least one group of of jews that are are speaking out against this and we've spoken about [0:49:38] this before. And I might need to ask for your dispensation. I was planning on bringing on a [0:49:44] couple of people of Jewish background to the show to get their opinion. Of course, we shouldn't [0:49:51] really be platforming error and sin. If you're directly going to speak about these themes and [0:49:59] bring up Jesus Christ, I think that's the proper way to have a conversation with Jews. That's where [0:50:03] it matters yeah but if we're listening to them for example for solutions on banking [0:50:09] or for what the meaning of pornography is or how we should run our health care that's suicide [0:50:18] it's mental it's it's so dangerous yeah they they pass on the tricks of the serpent [0:50:27] so that i think those conversations we should avoid like have nothing to do with the jews [0:50:34] culturally socially politically economically because it's poison but if it's a disputation [0:50:42] or talk about the identity of god about the faith about the meaning of the old testament even [0:50:47] excellent excellent and see how it goes yeah well it'll be interesting you know and it [0:50:54] One of the reasons why is because, you know, especially here in Idaho, where we have a very, I guess, limited exposure. [0:51:04] You know, there's like, what, 1,500 Jewish people throughout the state. [0:51:08] The state's two million people. [0:51:11] So it's very different than being in a place like Brooklyn or Flatbush or Williamsburg, New York, where, you know, it's practically 90 percent Jewish. [0:51:21] And you're in the minority. [0:51:23] Up here, most people rarely, if ever, have any kind of interaction with these people. [0:51:31] But part of this is that there is a perception among especially Christian Zionists that Judaism and Zionism are inseparable with one another, that Judaism is Zionism. [0:51:45] and there has been one voice like one rabbi in the entire country it seems that has spoken out [0:51:53] against us i figured i'd give this a little play and get some of your thoughts but this comes from [0:51:57] rabbi yakov shapiro let's take a quick listen to what he has to say [0:52:06] play. [0:52:36] But because I'm Jewish, wherever I go, Benjamin Netanyahu claims he's my leader. [0:52:41] And Israel claims to be a democracy. [0:52:45] This sounds like a dictatorship to me, not a democracy. [0:52:48] We didn't vote for him. He doesn't represent us. [0:52:52] But because the Zionists give out this message that they're the state of the Jewish people, [0:52:57] Jews all over the world are blamed for whatever Israel does. [0:53:01] Let the world know, Jews all over the world are not responsible for the actions of the state of Israel. [0:53:08] Israel doesn't represent the Jewish people. [0:53:11] So anyway, that was a little bit of an older clip. [0:53:14] He's been making the circuit more recently as well. [0:53:18] I don't have the video queued up or whatever, but basically they're protesting that they don't support the state of Israel. [0:53:25] they don't want the backlash that is coming for the Jewish community because of the war, [0:53:32] because of the death and all of this. And they're trying to draw a line distinguishing them [0:53:38] from Zionist Jews. And of course, there's arguments to be made that the Zionists aren't [0:53:45] even religious. People like Itamar Ben-Gavir and Netanyahu, they're not keeping the Sabbath. [0:53:50] it. They're not following the laws at all. They're basically atheists in charge of a political [0:53:58] project. Do you think that good could come from speaking with Jews like this and having [0:54:04] conversations about this stuff? Or should there be an embargo, I guess, on this kind of discussion [0:54:12] back and forth? Only if the conversation is about Jesus Christ, because it's not that Zionism is [0:54:19] bringing a bad name to certain groups of Jews. It's that Jews reject Jesus Christ. They're the [0:54:26] synagogue of Satan, and they enabled and gave birth to Zionism. It's because that rabbi, I'm glad he's [0:54:34] not a Zionist, but Zionism is just one error in the whole Antichrist mix. Louis Marshall, who was [0:54:42] a American financier back in the 1920s, and I think he might have been a founder of the American [0:54:49] Jewish Committee. I might be wrong on that. He wrote a letter to a friend saying Zionism is [0:54:55] simply a peg on which to hang a more powerful weapon. That is so significant. The really [0:55:05] powerful satanic leaders of world Jewry are using Zionism. And people think that Netanyahu might [0:55:16] kick off a nuclear conflict or something or they might go for the assumption something option [0:55:21] and if that's the end of zionism that's part of the plan israel is not the main plan [0:55:31] the main plan is purely dark satanic distraction from god from truth from holy week from the [0:55:40] sacraments from the gospel and then because if you simply try to deny all that deny jesus deny [0:55:47] the gospel you will not get much traction they have to give a false interpretation of first the [0:55:54] old testament and say it's about the geographical israel its fulfillment for this carnal people [0:56:00] descended in the flesh rather than spiritual sons of god and they will give a perverted [0:56:08] interpretation of the New Testament, saying that love means you will simply tolerate what anybody [0:56:14] wants to do to you, whether it's depraved or political oppression or the terroristic land [0:56:20] grab that the Jews have been doing since 1948 and earlier out there. So these rabbis, now I'm [0:56:29] secretly very happy when I hear these other rabbis saying Jews should just live peacefully in the [0:56:35] land that they're in, obey the laws of that land and wait for God to send the temple down from [0:56:40] heaven. And in some way, I think that kind of humility, if we can call it that, [0:56:47] that might earn them graces of conversion because they're not, [0:56:52] they do live simple lives and penitential lives and they do call upon who they think is God. [0:56:58] Maybe he will have mercy on them. And that is how Jews and Christians can get along. [0:57:05] if Jews will obey the laws of the Christian land, [0:57:09] not seek to overturn our nations, [0:57:12] not seek to grab power for themselves. [0:57:14] However, it's the rabbi's denial of Jesus Christ, [0:57:19] whatever they stand on Zionism, [0:57:22] that is trying to obstruct souls from God. [0:57:25] And also, when Shapiro said, for example, [0:57:29] he follows 603 commandments plus the 10, 613, [0:57:33] oh you're only going to get that with some dumb legalistic argument from the rabbis because they [0:57:39] don't have a temple how can you fulfill all the commandments of the torah when they're destined [0:57:45] to have that stone temple in jerusalem and in fact they're all fulfilled in christ love god and [0:57:51] neighbor at holy mass is where you fulfill everything in the torah you fulfill at holy mass [0:57:57] with that sacrifice, that priesthood, that temple. [0:58:01] So the Jews who found the Judaism unbearable back in the 1800s, [0:58:08] their rabbis were like tyrants, [0:58:11] imposing these arbitrary laws upon them about what they can do on the Sabbath [0:58:14] and how to wash and purification and sexual laws that they're imposing, [0:58:20] which they know the rabbis themselves aren't necessarily keeping, [0:58:23] completely corrupt, and yet a weird, unnatural burden on the people. [0:58:29] They rebelled against that. [0:58:31] Their emancipation is not just against European monarchs or the Russians are. [0:58:38] It's emancipation from their rabbis and the cruel, tyrannical slavery [0:58:44] of trying to live under the Torah, which St. Peter said, [0:58:47] none of us could keep this, none of us. [0:58:49] So let's not lay this burden of the Torah on the new Gentile converts. [0:58:57] So where I'm going with this is, although we love to hear anyone say that Zionism is wrong and it's not of God, [0:59:04] if it's a rabbi saying that, we have to be aware of the priority of orders here is that first that man denies Jesus Christ. [0:59:15] That's having the bigger effect on the world than he's saying Zionism is wrong. [0:59:19] And in any case, the satanic Jews who dreamt up Zionism and started making it happen for the last 300 years, they know Zionism will fail. [0:59:32] That's built into it. [0:59:34] And when we see it fail, are we meant to think the enemy is overcome? [0:59:42] No, that's just one weapon of the enemy. [0:59:45] so i don't get too excited about these rabbis opposing zionism i have let's pray that they [0:59:53] embrace jesus christ then they can effectively oppose zionism yeah by saying that jesus christ [1:00:00] is israel the fulfillment the chosen people who are the chosen people to be baptized and have the [1:00:09] blessed trinity dwell in your soul that is awesome compared to being circumcised when you're eight [1:00:19] days old and visiting a stone temple three times a year to see some animals have their throats cut [1:00:26] and burnt or whatever they were certainly called chosen to welcome the messiah into the world [1:00:32] But that is trivial compared to the elect in Christ who are baptized, who receive the body, blood, soul, divinity of Jesus in Holy Communion. [1:00:49] There's nothing like that election for which the apostles converted. [1:00:56] And thousands of Jews after the crucifixion converted to that. [1:01:00] they assented to what they'd been called to do [1:01:04] yeah no it's it's um the church really i feel like you know dropping the ball [1:01:10] uh they've been dropping the ball and you know even people like our bishop up here [1:01:14] bishop christensen you know they i don't know if you've noticed this or not but certain bishops [1:01:20] they'll like hide their pectoral cross like in their pocket you know they it's like they're [1:01:24] doing everything they can to kind of like obscure the cross, obscure that sacrifice, and they're [1:01:32] trying to go a different way, bringing about unity and fraternity without going through the suffering [1:01:40] of the cross. And I think that's a fool's errand. I don't think that we're going to see unity and [1:01:47] fraternity among all nations outside of Christ, outside of his sacrifice on Calvary. But, [1:01:55] you know, another thing that I think is kind of crazy and I want your opinion on is, you know, [1:02:00] this idea of the rebuilding of the temple. Do you think, so there has been, and we've seen it with [1:02:06] people like Pete Hegseth, our Secretary of War, you know, pastor, or I guess he's the ambassador [1:02:13] to Israel, Huckabee. These people, they want to see the rebuilding of the temple and the [1:02:22] re-institution of animal sacrifices. Do you think that they will be successful in this? Do you think [1:02:32] that God will allow these people to re-establish the temple, or do you think that there will be [1:02:37] something akin to what happened to Julian the apostate, you know, fireballs coming out of the [1:02:42] earth. What's your opinion on this? I don't think there will be able to inaugurate the animal [1:02:48] sacrifice, basically, but everything up to that point, possibly. Wow. So the establishment of the [1:02:58] illegal state of Israel, it's not an accident in history. It has been desired for many centuries [1:03:07] by Jews, but to actually bring that about, to have the financial clout to start buying [1:03:13] land there and to have the lobbying clout in England and France and then America to [1:03:20] make that happen through bribery and terrorism, it takes an immense focus and drive. [1:03:30] I mean, a demonic drive. [1:03:32] I don't think this is going to end in what people talk about a two-state solution or whatever, something peaceful. [1:03:41] It's not. [1:03:42] It's going to end with the attempt to build the temple, which a couple of church fathers said will not happen, but most church fathers left that open. [1:03:52] They're not explicit on it. [1:03:54] What I think we can understand from them is that you will never have Levite priests offering lambs on an altar of Holocaust outside a rebuilt temple. [1:04:05] They cannot inaugurate this temple. [1:04:07] God will never come to dwell there. [1:04:10] But why? [1:04:11] They could build a stone building and say, this is the rebuilt temple. [1:04:16] Who of us? [1:04:17] No, maybe the architecture is wrong. [1:04:18] Maybe it's in the wrong place. [1:04:21] Then it's not the temple, is it? [1:04:23] But it's not the temple because God's not going to dwell there. [1:04:27] This is just a theory of mine that this is not church teaching. [1:04:30] What I could see happening is they make this stupendous effort to get it built [1:04:34] and they're about to sacrifice lambs on the Passover. [1:04:40] And it's the Antichrist who has enabled this and got the world to cooperate with them. [1:04:45] And then the Antichrist himself says to them, [1:04:48] you will not kill animals here. [1:04:53] you will worship me. [1:04:56] And the Jews will think, [1:04:58] oh my goodness, [1:04:59] for 2000 years, [1:05:01] we've been seeking this project. [1:05:04] This man finally led us to achieve it. [1:05:07] And now we see he's not our Messiah. [1:05:09] He's not our leader. [1:05:11] He's the Antichrist. [1:05:12] And then it will provoke their conversion [1:05:14] as they realize that Jesus [1:05:16] is the fulfillment of everything. [1:05:18] Not a temple you build with human hands, [1:05:20] but a temple that's manufactured not of this world the humanity of cracks yeah um and his sacrifice so [1:05:30] i i think basically the dome on the rock is going to be targeted and they are going to [1:05:40] try build something there and a whole lot of lunatic [1:05:45] protestants are going to say this is the fulfillment of the old testament [1:05:51] and they're guilty for saying that because they have rejected the priesthood the protestants [1:05:56] they've rejected the body of christ the church and the holy eucharist so they can fall for this fake [1:06:03] alternative um but if once you see heavy machinery up on temple mount laying foundation [1:06:15] then the end is very, very near. It won't go seven years beyond that. So we'll see. [1:06:25] Yeah, we'll see. It's been crazy. This has been something that I've been kind of [1:06:30] not necessarily struggling with, but wrestling with this idea of, are we living in the end times? [1:06:37] The Christian Zionists all, not only are they believing that we're in the end times, [1:06:43] but they're attempting to hasten what they see as a tribulation and the coming of the Antichrist. [1:06:52] They see their role as helping this project along and speeding it up, [1:06:57] because they think that they're going to bring about the second coming of Christ. [1:07:01] But I think that's all a lie. [1:07:05] The only way to, in a sense, hurry that up is when we pray, [1:07:10] in Maranatha, Lord, come, come, Lord Jesus, come. [1:07:14] And if we will perfect our souls by his grace in holiness, [1:07:19] live a virtuous life, a charitable life, [1:07:21] even be willing to lay down our lives, [1:07:23] then that will bring the fulfillment of God's plan. [1:07:27] When every member of the Catholic church is full of faith [1:07:31] and the gifts of the Holy Ghost, [1:07:34] then it's going to have the effect that God purposed [1:07:38] for the church on the world, and he will come. [1:07:40] But to do an act of evil, to support an act of evil, to support the bombing of children and civilians, to support the theft of land, and think that in this way you're serving God's plan. [1:07:54] you're only serving God's plan in the way that Satan and Cain and Caiaphas were tolerated by God [1:08:05] for their evil they give an opportunity then for the greatest acts of charity [1:08:15] from the people who don't cave before they're evil we have still faith open charity so no the [1:08:22] the protestants it's heresy from the beginning and we're seeing the evil fruits of john calvin [1:08:29] john knox martin luther thomas cranmer we're seeing that those evil fruits now yeah yeah and [1:08:38] they will they are waiting for their punishment their judgment to be decided those protestant [1:08:43] founders and they don't know the day they died they realized that probably in all probability [1:08:48] they're going to hell, but they won't know the extent of their punishment in hell until the end [1:08:53] of history. And all the bad fruits of it will be shown to them and they will know why they've made [1:09:01] yourself so much. In the same way that all the fruits of your acts of charity and obedience to [1:09:08] God, nobody will know how much good that brings until the end of history. And then you'll see, [1:09:13] wow, how awesome it was to believe in Jesus Christ, to hope in him and to love him. And at [1:09:20] the end of, you will know when you die, souls will go straight to heaven or to purgatory. [1:09:25] They're on their way to heaven, but they won't know to the end of history quite how [1:09:29] awesome their reward is. Wow. And so this kind of leads us to like the last, my last kind of [1:09:38] a series of questions for you. And thank you again for taking the time to join us today. [1:09:44] But there have been some developments. Speaking of the fruits of Vatican II, we saw Bishop Barron [1:09:50] basically claim that Vatican II kind of changed the path to heaven, that there's a different [1:09:59] ecclesiology with Vatican II. There's been a privileged path, this narrative that has come [1:10:05] Mount. And, you know, in the wake of Vatican II, we've seen vocations to the priesthood, nuns, [1:10:12] lay, you know, not lay religious, but, you know, just lay people in general leaving the church in [1:10:17] droves. We've seen horrible fruits, frankly, ever since 1955 and the changing of the liturgy. [1:10:25] But there are some new developments since the last time that we've spoken in that the Society [1:10:32] of St. Pius X, this is the group of people that preserved the tradition of the church, [1:10:36] they preserved the Latin Mass and the priestly formation that was normal before the Second [1:10:45] Vatican Council. They have announced that they are going to be consecrating new bishops come, [1:10:53] I think it was July 1st. We don't know how many, we don't know who they will be, [1:10:58] But it appears as though this is causing some chain reactions or ripple effects throughout the church. [1:11:04] Just yesterday or two days ago, we saw that the Pope has issued a letter to the clergy of France [1:11:12] asking for more inclusion of Latin Mass Catholics in their dioceses. [1:11:21] Of course, I don't think this would be happening if it weren't for the actions that the SSPX have been taking. [1:11:30] You know, we've been over the past several years, and you've had to deal with this as well. [1:11:33] Pope Francis released a document called Tradiciones Custodes, which puts severe restrictions on the traditional mass, on the traditional celebration of the liturgy. [1:11:43] Where do you think this is going? [1:11:45] What are your opinions on the SSPX's decision to carry through with these consecrations, [1:11:51] even though they don't have papal approval? [1:11:54] And what do you think this will do, I guess, over the next few years in the church? [1:12:00] How do you see this falling out and the dust settling? [1:12:06] Thank God for the SSPX. [1:12:08] Any soul that seeks to be faithful to what has been passed down from Jesus and the apostles [1:12:15] to us today through the saints through the church through the hierarchy um god is going to reward [1:12:24] that and that is what the sspx do they are seeking to be faithful they're they're preaching faithfully [1:12:33] usefully as well fruitfully and bringing the sacraments to people and this is good and if i [1:12:41] I think the FSSP has a large role in this as well, [1:12:45] why this has brought this statement from Leo. [1:12:49] Because when you have bishops in Charlottesville [1:12:52] and maybe Knoxville closing down the Latin mass, [1:12:55] Leo didn't lift a finger, [1:12:57] nothing to defend his communities. [1:13:00] You might remember Father Berg, [1:13:02] the superior general of the FSSP, [1:13:03] met with Pope Leo, I think, [1:13:07] the 19th of January or something. [1:13:09] and the fraternity put out a press release saying this meeting was at the request of the fraternity [1:13:14] now what i guess is happening in that meeting is the superior general is presenting to some pope [1:13:21] the pope the most intractable cases where the fraternity have apostolates so for example in [1:13:29] france you have bishops trying to forbid fraternity priests from doing traditional [1:13:34] baptisms and confirmations they're saying you can have the traditional mass but the faithful have [1:13:39] to go to novus which is the most cruel tyrannical evil evil thing that these bishops are doing an [1:13:47] abuse of power it's illegal the fraternity have their constitutions approved by john paul ii in [1:13:55] in record time for when an institute was set up to having a vatican papal approval for the [1:14:00] constitutions there's a law there's church law these french bishops are breaking it and they're [1:14:06] it's so cruel to put the faithful and priests in that position but what do the most the faithful [1:14:12] do they will go to the sspx for baptisms and confirmations and maybe stay in those apostolates [1:14:18] why not because this they're doing great things for the souls of your family so pope leo didn't [1:14:27] necessarily. I think he would have had a sympathetic meeting, but I don't know if he put anything into [1:14:32] action to curb those French bishops who are so evil. Then what happens when the SSPX announce [1:14:39] they're going to do these consecrations? There's a slight panic in the Vatican. And that's why Leo [1:14:48] said there's a wound about tradition and he wants to end this wound. He's talking about the coming [1:14:54] Episcopal consecrations of the SSPX, which is not a wound. It's that the society has taken [1:15:00] so long to carefully discern these things and to observe what's happening in the church and to pray [1:15:08] and realize they have to do this for the continuation of their society, which has [1:15:15] good foundations, good constitution. So thank God that they're doing it. And that is what has [1:15:22] provoked Pope Leo to pay attention to, I think, what the fraternity or other traditionalists [1:15:30] were saying to him as their difficulties, which Leo wasn't interested until the society [1:15:36] have done this. [1:15:37] So by being faithful trans, they've done a service for the whole church, and they're [1:15:44] not going to get thanked for it. [1:15:45] They're going to get attacked for it, as is now happening. [1:15:50] and yet they're doing something wonderful for which everybody else benefits and however you [1:15:56] write the society of the fraternity i think the fraternity are doing something as well that is [1:16:01] awesome of the holy ghost which the bishops and cardinals cannot say that the traditional mass [1:16:08] is illegal or unpleasing to god because you have the fraternity with having their constitutions [1:16:16] approved by the hierarchy so god is using a a spread of his divisions so that the enemy can't [1:16:26] get us cornered and can't shut down tradition yeah and the that these people attack the fraternity [1:16:35] because they do have a fairly high level of cooperation with the bishops um [1:16:43] actually they have i'm i think some geniuses and saints [1:16:51] running the fraternity who keep to their constitutions that's all they want to do [1:16:58] so they don't think they're going to save the world they know jesus does that they don't think [1:17:04] they're going to save the whole church they're simply trying to do what they've promised their [1:17:08] life for which is about the sanctification of priests through the traditional liturgy [1:17:15] and then the apostolic life bringing the sacraments the gospel the fruits of contemplation to the [1:17:21] faithful that's all they want to do so that when the superior general meets with the pope [1:17:26] he's not going off course bringing up what he's just seen in the news or his theory about what's [1:17:35] going to save the world. He's simply trying to bring up what's necessary for the fraternity to [1:17:41] fill their constitutions. And that takes amazing humility and balance, I think, and prudence. [1:17:47] And I think that Christ the King do similarly. The society, the SSPX, they're doing the heaviest work [1:17:56] and they will get a glorious reward for it. Although on earth, they'll be attacked for it. [1:18:03] But it's that that has provoked this shift in Rome. [1:18:10] But to ask the French bishops to be generous, it's really pathetic. [1:18:16] It's pathetic. [1:18:19] The Pope, if I found a bishop trying to ban people from receiving a baptism [1:18:24] or saying it has to be novice, [1:18:27] that bishop needs um such a dressing down that he'd be terrified of ever trying to do that again [1:18:37] and this maybe we can we're meant to think oh it's a good signal it's a good sign of hope [1:18:44] no never from the vatican never believe these signs of hope unless it is legislation [1:18:50] we need to see the law the church affirmed by law that tradition should not be obstructed [1:19:00] and when people do they need to be punished if they obstruct tradition that only that speaks [1:19:07] everything else is games and window dressing yeah and from or from depths i won't say [1:19:15] you know it's it is it's incredible i was uh doing you know several years ago i think this [1:19:22] was like 2018 or 2019 i was doing a lot of volunteer work in uh in chicago uh with a [1:19:28] traditional uh chapel out there uh you know i don't want to put them on blast or anything like [1:19:33] that but it was incredible because there was a a an opinion that was issued by the auxiliary bishop [1:19:39] under Cardinal Cupich over there in Chicago, basically saying that the SSPX are incapable [1:19:49] of baptizing validly in the traditional right. It was the most incredible thing that I had ever [1:19:58] seen in my life because it's like, we have so much that has been written and, you know, [1:20:04] doctrinally debated and settled even even a jew can validly baptize a catholic you know someone [1:20:12] who doesn't not only do they not believe but they're against the faith they can affect a valid [1:20:16] baptism but the diocese believes that the sspx is incapable of giving i was going to say the [1:20:24] donatists could do it and the protestant heretics could do it but you pick the right example yes [1:20:30] a Jew who means to do what the church does, [1:20:34] it's a valid baptism. [1:20:36] So how do men become bishops [1:20:39] if their theology is so weak, so pathetic? [1:20:43] Right. [1:20:44] It is. [1:20:45] What a crisis. [1:20:47] Indeed. [1:20:49] Somebody said, I don't know who it was, [1:20:51] that it's the Holy Eucharist that unites us. [1:20:53] I mean, that's true. [1:20:55] Of course. [1:20:56] So even for those Catholics in the Novus Ordo, [1:20:59] if they're validly baptized and they believe in the real presence and they're adoring god [1:21:06] through the real presence of jesus christ in the blessed sacrament [1:21:09] that's a growth of grace for growth of the church that's life for the world [1:21:14] novus ordo catholics or christ the king or the society or some set of a cantist the same it is [1:21:23] the eucharist which unites us and that's not to say the novus ordo is okay i don't think it is [1:21:28] it's not to say there isn't a truth about set of acantism either we have a pope or we don't [1:21:33] i don't know if we do or not i i presume i tend to say unless there's a proof that we don't then [1:21:40] i'm going to accept that we do um but god knows the souls he knows who believes in him who is [1:21:50] adoring him and it is in the holy eucharist that this massive body grows with life um [1:21:58] so i'm thinking what of the the attacks on each other how how damaging it is to devour [1:22:10] each other and to whether yes christ unites us the sacraments unite us [1:22:18] hmm yeah yeah it's uh it is quite the crisis and god god willing we will see a resolution to it [1:22:26] god knows we've gone through long periods in the church where we've had bad popes i'm thinking i [1:22:31] know i have a little statue of saint vincent ferrer uh over on my bookcase and it's like you [1:22:37] know here's a guy that you know he lived in like the 1400s uh his claim to fame is preaching the [1:22:42] end of the world the fire and brimstone that the end was nigh and you know this was during the [1:22:48] Avignon crisis. There were three popes, you know, or there was only one, but, you know, [1:22:53] three claimants to the papacy. There's a lot of confusion, a lot of infighting, a lot of division [1:22:58] among Catholics. And yet, you know, you have on the one side, St. Vincent Ferrer. On the other [1:23:04] side, Catherine of Siena. And they both followed different popes, but both of them became saints [1:23:09] because they were doing what they needed to do in their duty of state, living godly lives, [1:23:17] receiving the sacraments and praying. [1:23:22] But yeah, well, thank you so much for joining us today. [1:23:24] Father, he has written a bunch of books [1:23:27] that you absolutely should read. [1:23:29] I'm going to give a quick plug right now. [1:23:32] One of them is If You Believed Moses, Volumes 1 and 2. [1:23:37] I think Volume 2 might be a little bit more difficult to come by. [1:23:41] I think you got banned on Amazon with that one. [1:23:44] Also, another book of yours. [1:23:46] I think this is your latest book, The Metaphysics of Love, Reality as the Way to Life. [1:23:54] You can, of course, find all except for Volume 2 of Father's work on Amazon. [1:24:04] You've got a lot of really, really great books, Crushing Satan's Head, a book on the passion of Christ. [1:24:10] also make sure you follow father's sub stack at father j maudsley and i think also if you want to [1:24:19] give a brief plug i believe you just finished your like epic series on the holocaust narrative [1:24:27] this is how how many episodes is this like 20 episodes uh or 19 episodes um you just finished [1:24:34] this it looks like eight days ago you put the end uh the final video up do you want to just give a [1:24:40] brief plug as to because i think that some of this content is some of the most important content that [1:24:46] i have seen put out in the catholic world so if you want to give a quick plug to the holocaust [1:24:51] narrative it's it's been two years um research and putting the videos together to show that [1:25:00] there's a massive deception in the world that the holocaust narrative the story of a genocide [1:25:06] of six million Jews and employing homicidal gas chambers is all complete lies, which might [1:25:14] astonish us. And people think, oh, I've seen the videos. I know it's true. No, you don't. You've [1:25:19] seen some videos and you've been falsely told what you're looking at and you've believed what [1:25:24] you've heard. So the first half of the series basically shows that there wasn't a genocide. [1:25:30] There were not 6 million dead. [1:25:32] There were no homicidal gas chambers used for mass murder in these camps. [1:25:38] Then it shows what really happened. [1:25:41] The final solution is the expulsion of the Jews. [1:25:44] Then how they engineered this fake story, going back a couple of hundred years, [1:25:49] and introducing Kabbalah and Masons. [1:25:52] And finally, the consequences, the devastating consequences for the world of the fake story, [1:25:59] especially in the wars we've seen and the subversion of the church in every area of [1:26:06] the church's life casting the christ killers as victims and people can't even hear that [1:26:15] christ killers the jews kill christ well that's what father william of newbury wrote in the 1190s [1:26:21] and it's it's because he died for all our sins but they still assent to that today that the [1:26:28] crucifixion was a good thing they won't repute at it they won't regret it they won't say it was bad [1:26:33] it was unjust so they they're approving the crucifixion to this day and that has subverted [1:26:40] the church that people think you can't say on good friday the jewish leaders led their people [1:26:49] into calling for the crucifixion and those who refuse to go along with that are this the seed [1:26:54] of the church in any case and then the last two videos or what we or the last three what we can [1:27:00] do about it um on a personal level for the church and for the state with for example excluding Jews [1:27:07] from public office or from owning media or a big role in the banks we need to get there [1:27:13] but it will begin with not genuflecting for them in the prayer on good friday truly it seems such [1:27:21] a small simple thing exactly it is it's anyone can do it and it's your heart before god in the [1:27:29] most important place on the planet the solemn liturgy of good friday appealing to god that [1:27:37] you you want that conversion and you're not willing to bow to their lies um so for a final [1:27:43] word then if by because it's holy week the the world is mad the world is dark but christ is all [1:27:52] light if you know on holy thursday this is the day that jesus instituted the most holy eucharist [1:27:59] and the priesthood so that it will be he'll be with us through all generations to the [1:28:04] consummation of the world and good friday the day that jesus willingly laid down his life [1:28:10] to save us so we don't go to hell, [1:28:14] to open up heaven for all those who will follow him, [1:28:17] who will take up their cross. [1:28:20] Holy Saturday, a day of watching in hope with our lady. [1:28:25] So however desolate we might seem, [1:28:27] whatever we've seen with our eyes of the devastation [1:28:30] and the blood and the injustice, [1:28:32] know with our lady that the victory is Christ's. [1:28:36] And then Easter Sunday, what joy, what joy. [1:28:39] That is the permanent state of things now in the world is Easter Sunday. [1:28:45] That grace is available constantly, always to grow in your soul, [1:28:49] the life of Christ, the risen Christ, uniting with God. [1:28:53] This is Holy Week. [1:28:56] The triduum, switch off the internet. [1:28:59] Just be focused on it. [1:29:01] And every year, go deeper and deeper into it. [1:29:04] And every Sunday, remember it. [1:29:07] Every day in your prayers, remember it. [1:29:09] And this is what life is for. [1:29:12] Amen. [1:29:13] Well, thank you so much, Father, for joining us. [1:29:16] Everybody always really appreciates when you come on. [1:29:19] There was also another podcast that you did today with, [1:29:24] I've got to give them a shout out, Avoiding Babylon. [1:29:27] I'm a big fan of their show, Anthony and Rob. [1:29:31] So I think it might be paywalled for now, [1:29:33] but in the coming days, I think that paywall will come down. [1:29:38] Tear down this paywall. [1:29:39] and let people listen. [1:29:42] But thank you so much, Father. [1:29:44] Please pray for me, my family. [1:29:47] Pray for the people that are benefactors to the show. [1:29:50] And God bless you. [1:29:52] Thank you so much for taking it.
