[0:00:00] Hello and welcome to The Backlash. I'm your host, Dave Fijay Reilly. Thank you so much for joining us this evening, wherever you are in the world. Thank you again. We've got a great guest for you. We've got a lot of great topics to talk about. We're going to be talking about the Iran War. There's a big GOP convention happening here in Idaho and a little bit of a coup d'etat attempt coming down the pike. So we're going to be discussing a little bit of that.
[0:00:22] But first, please make sure that you are following us on all of our accounts.

[0:00:58] By the way, just a little housekeeping.
[0:01:00] The TRS guys reported my last stream with Dr. Kevin MacDonald, so that is no longer available on YouTube.
[0:01:07] Got censored.
[0:01:08] So if you want to check that out, it is over on Rumble.
[0:01:13] Very, very interesting interview from last week.
[0:01:16] But anyway, without any further ado, I'd like to introduce today's guest, who is none other than Dan McKnight. He is a 13-year veteran in the U.S. Army. He's the founder of Defend the Guard and Bring Our Troops Home. He's got some, where are the websites? Right here, defendtheguard.us and bringartroopshome.us. He's, of course, also on X at DanMcKnight30. Mr. McKnight, thank you so much for joining me today.
[0:01:44] Thanks for having me, David. It's good to see you.
[0:01:45] So I've been like out of town. Well, two weeks ago, I had like food poisoning. So I was like sick as a dog in bed. And then last week I was in Pittsburgh, you know, dealing with crackheads, trying to like, you know, break the windows of my my Airbnb.
[0:02:00] So I've been a little out of the loop. Looking at the media today, of course, like, for example, Drudge Report, they're announcing that the war in Iran is over, that we've made a deal, that we've made Iran great again, but that also we're going to have to spend $300 billion in reparations.
[0:02:23] and now what was once a free waterway,
[0:02:28] the Strait of Hormuz is gonna be a toll road now
[0:02:30] operated by, was it Oman, I believe, and Iran.
[0:02:34] So basically it was a war for nothing.
[0:02:38] What's your opinion on,
[0:02:39] we've had so much insider trading as well, right?
[0:02:43] Like all of this, oh, we're gonna make a deal,
[0:02:46] we're not gonna make a deal.
[0:02:46] I think 18 times Trump has said this
[0:02:49] and it's fallen through over the past 100 days.
[0:02:52] So you are an expert on this. You are like a vet on the global war on terror. You've been neck deep in passing legislation all over the country. Where do we actually stand with the war in Iran right now?
[0:03:04] Yeah, no, that's a great question.
[0:03:06] And I'm going to correct your math just a little bit.
[0:03:07] It's been 38 times since March 10th
[0:03:10] that Trump has said we are moments, minutes, seconds,
[0:03:14] milliseconds away from a deal with Iran.
[0:03:16] And each time he does it, it manipulates the market
[0:03:18] and fortunes are made or lost in the market
[0:03:20] based on his obloviation.
[0:03:23] So first of all, we're going to celebrate.
[0:03:25] We're going to take a moment.
[0:03:26] We're going to pause.
[0:03:26] We're going to celebrate that if this is true,
[0:03:30] that we took the off-ramp and the war is over.
[0:03:31] The killing stops.
[0:03:33] we've already lost a report of 13 americans five of which are from the national guard
[0:03:37] in this conflict and so if that stops we're going to celebrate it we've been encouraging the
[0:03:42] president to take the off-ramp since february 27th which is the day after the war started
[0:03:46] people like joe kent and myself we've been encouraging the president take the next available
[0:03:50] off-ramp declare victory under whatever terms you want and let's let's end it and let's leave so
[0:03:55] we look at what's happened now yeah the the what we had before it was an open straight we had two
[0:04:02] gallon gasoline. The Iran nuclear capability was destroyed and buried under a mountain.
[0:04:08] And now what we have is a strait that may be controlled by two other nations that are not
[0:04:12] exactly allies of America. The stockpile of enriched uranium coming back to America, maybe.
[0:04:20] And there is an uncapped limit on what Iran can do with their non-military use of their
[0:04:26] nuclear materials. So I think we're actually in a worse position, but we're going to take the win
[0:04:30] and we're going to chalk it up as one and we'll talk about the specifics as they, as they wash out.
[0:04:36] Yeah, no, for sure. I've been seeing, I've been seeing this meme circulating around the internet,
[0:04:40] which like, you know, I really hope that this is not the case. Like I want this to be over.
[0:04:46] But it's just been, it's just been so back and forth.
[0:04:49] You know, I have a action figure of George W. Bush in a flight suit with the mission accomplished
[0:04:53] banner that I pulled out of storage a couple of weeks ago. And I, it might be over in my studio
[0:04:56] right over here, but I've been waiting for the chance to use it. And I thought it might come
[0:05:00] with a president Trump in a singlet standing on the UFC stage declaring, you know, a mission
[0:05:06] accomplished or something silly, but the universe has not delivered on that yet. That's funny. Oh
[0:05:12] my gosh. But yeah. So how many, how many have died by the way, uh, in this conflict? Was it 14
[0:05:17] servicemen, 14 or 15? We don't know for sure. Uh, 13 was the last official number, but the
[0:05:22] department of defense or department of war, the Pentagon or whichever NCU you want to call them,
[0:05:26] They stopped reporting on American deaths in any certain terms.
[0:05:29] And so we only have numbers from Axios in the New York Post and Washington Times.
[0:05:33] But we do know this, that the state of Ohio, Ohio has paid the heaviest toll with three
[0:05:39] members of their National Guard that have been killed, three from one state.
[0:05:43] 20 states National Guard troops were dragged into this war under the imminent threat, meaning
[0:05:48] that it was so imminent it was going to happen that we had to fight right now.
[0:05:51] We didn't have time to go to Congress over the last 47 years to get an authorization or
[0:05:55] declaration of war. It was so imminent that we had to drag 20 states into this in addition to
[0:06:01] our active duty military. So I'm not sure what the actual number is. The traumatic brain injuries
[0:06:06] and the injuries that have been evacuated to Germany are in the hundreds. And we'll never
[0:06:11] know the full weight of that until somebody does a final accounting and there's an inspector general
[0:06:15] assigned to this. Wow. That's not good. And this is what we've been saying since the beginning.
[0:06:20] And of course, for all of our care, or at least me or anyway, get labeled an anti, you're an anti-Semite, you hate Israel, you want to wipe all the, you know, whatever off the face of the earth. And it's just like, are you kidding me? Like, this is, this was a disastrous idea. We called it from the start. Like, my dad has been saying that we were going to, you know, go to war with Iran for 20 years.
[0:06:41] And now it's happened. The Israelis got their way. And there was a tweet that I actually just saw from a senior Israeli official saying, here we go. It is, quote, highly doubtful that we would have launched the operation in Iran if we had known that these would have been the political consequences.
[0:07:02] And it's like, what are you talking about?
[0:07:05] We were yelling from the rooftops what the political consequences of this would be from the very beginning.
[0:07:11] Yeah, and all 18 intelligence agencies within the United States, twice since the war started,
[0:07:15] once at the national threat assessment, excuse me, global threat assessment last year with Tulsi in March.
[0:07:21] And then once again in March this year with the new global threat assessment,
[0:07:24] all 18 United States intelligence agencies came forward and said,
[0:07:27] Iran is not pursuing, nor are they building, nor are they anywhere near being capable of having a
[0:07:32] nuclear weapon. But we didn't listen to them. Instead, they sent Ratcliffe out there to kind
[0:07:37] of try and walk back what Tulsi had said in her testimony and said that Iran is an immediate
[0:07:43] threat. And if you try to look up immediate threat in the president's Article 2 powers,
[0:07:49] whether he can wage war on an immediate threat, he doesn't have that ability. Even the crappy 1973
[0:07:54] War Powers Resolution doesn't give the president any authorizations for an immediate threat,
[0:07:58] only an imminent threat. And Ratcliffe wouldn't say imminent because they all know it's not
[0:08:02] imminent. Imminent means it's happening now or it's about to happen. Immediate is, hey,
[0:08:06] it's kind of important. And if we've all watched Bibi Netanyahu over the last 30 years, he has
[0:08:10] said that they are milliseconds away from 400 nuclear bombs. I don't know how many times he's
[0:08:15] come to Congress and testified against it. He came for an international trade deal one time
[0:08:20] and even proclaimed that they were moments away from a nuclear bomb.
[0:08:23] And so we bought that lie, hook, line, and sinker.
[0:08:26] It was fed through our media ecosystem with Mark Levin and Sean Hannity
[0:08:31] and all the rest of the Fox News slop crew.
[0:08:33] And it was just, it was perpetrated into existence.
[0:08:36] And it was never true.
[0:08:37] Never true once.
[0:08:38] Even the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Raisin Cain, Dan Cain,
[0:08:42] said this would be a bad idea and it doesn't look like it's even that imminent.
[0:08:46] He was talked out of it when head of Mossad came and convinced him in a private meeting
[0:08:51] to turn and buy into this theory that they were seconds away from nuclear bombs.
[0:08:56] So it's never been true.
[0:08:57] It's never been accurate.
[0:08:59] Nobody in no real serious player actually thinks it was.
[0:09:02] Only the people that buy into Mark Levin, read his fancy books,
[0:09:05] and watch his terrible unrated TV show are the ones that are actually buying this lie.
[0:09:10] Unreal.
[0:09:10] That's crazy.
[0:09:11] Now, do you think that there is going to be, first of all, I guess,
[0:09:16] You know, for those of us that were watching as this unfolded, the very first strike that the United States made in Iran in this latest go around was bombing a girls school in Manab with about 165 little girls between the ages of eight and 12 years old being murdered.
[0:09:33] Do you think that was a war crime?
[0:09:36] And do you think there will be any repercussions to the U.S. officials that signed off on that strike?
[0:09:41] this is a very tough question and i'm going to tell you why once one is it a war crime absolutely
[0:09:48] it's an atrocity i don't know if it's going to raise to the level of a crime unless they can
[0:09:52] prove intent and negligence um but in order to do that we have to go to palantir because it was
[0:09:57] their strike package it was their it was their guidance it was their uh their intelligence um
[0:10:02] that led to that strike and so if we're going to go after anybody it's going to have to go after
[0:10:06] the most powerful people in the world palantir and unfortunately i believe that the leader of
[0:10:10] Palantir has since moved to Argentina.
[0:10:12] And so we'd have to do a little bit of extra, you know,
[0:10:14] extricating him back to the United States.
[0:10:17] Now, so I hesitate to say it's a war crime
[0:10:20] or that President Trump or Dan Cain
[0:10:22] or Pete Hegsworth are war criminals
[0:10:23] because I don't know if I believe it.
[0:10:25] But I do believe that we did bomb
[0:10:27] and we did kill a school full of children, of girls,
[0:10:30] and we should be responsible for it.
[0:10:33] And that means more than just an apology
[0:10:35] or a formal investigation.
[0:10:36] We need to make that right.
[0:10:38] The scales of justice have to be balanced.
[0:10:40] and just an acknowledgement after denial,
[0:10:44] after denial, after denial is not the way to handle that.
[0:10:47] It should have been handled differently
[0:10:48] from the very beginning with,
[0:10:50] oh my God, we may have done this
[0:10:51] and we are going to investigate it
[0:10:53] and figure out how it happened
[0:10:54] and we are going to make it right.
[0:10:56] A sincere apology goes a long way,
[0:10:58] especially if it's heartfelt
[0:10:59] and then we turn away from that kind of a sin ever again.
[0:11:02] We should never target civilian infrastructure ever
[0:11:05] and we have just thrown that out the window
[0:11:07] this entire war.
[0:11:08] Yeah. No, I think you're totally right about this. Now, how did you, I guess, come to where you are now, I guess, ideologically or with your beliefs? I mean, at one point you signed up, right, to go fight, to go to the Middle East and, you know, kill towelheads, whatever the case may be.
[0:11:27] how how did your progression how did you become enlightened uh to these issues these ideas about
[0:11:33] war and war powers and and what's been going on in the middle east how did that happen for you
[0:11:39] yeah it's it's a it's a it's a very short arc actually uh um in uh october excuse me in august
[0:11:46] of 2005 i got got a call at four in the morning and said hey you need to uh lead a convoy to uh
[0:11:52] Mississippi and Louisiana of Idaho National Guardsmen. The Louisiana National Guard is
[0:11:57] overseas in Iraq, and they're a combat engineer brigade. And they're in Iraq right now building
[0:12:01] roads and levees and bridges and dams. And Hurricane Katrina just struck land, and Louisiana
[0:12:06] needed their National Guard there to build, I don't know, roads and levees and bridges and dams
[0:12:10] and serve their local community. But instead, they were over there fighting a war that by then
[0:12:14] we knew we'd been lied into. Dick Cheney and George W. Bush and Colin Powell had lied us into a war.
[0:12:19] and nobody, there's no serious actor in the world today
[0:12:22] that doesn't understand that we were lied into that war.
[0:12:24] And so I led a convoy of about 12 Idaho National Guard soldiers
[0:12:28] and we got there early.
[0:12:29] We got there fast.
[0:12:30] The only people that actually beat us there,
[0:12:32] believe it or not, were the Mormons.
[0:12:33] Mormons were there before we were,
[0:12:35] but we beat FEMA by a week.
[0:12:37] Every other state in the country's National Guard unit
[0:12:39] showed up and they all beat FEMA there.
[0:12:41] And this is where the whole George W. Bush hates black people
[0:12:44] narrative came from, right?
[0:12:45] Kanye West, yeah.
[0:12:46] That's right.
[0:12:47] And after we were done, we dropped our supplies off.
[0:12:50] We did what we could.
[0:12:51] We left Jackson, Mississippi,
[0:12:53] drove straight to Fort Hood, Texas
[0:12:54] and dropped our equipment off there
[0:12:55] because we just received mobile orders to go to Afghanistan.
[0:12:58] So we flew home, kissed our families goodbye,
[0:13:02] packed our gear and we flew back to Fort Hood again
[0:13:04] and started the demobilization training
[0:13:06] to go to Afghanistan.
[0:13:08] And we were bought in.
[0:13:08] I'm telling you, I was young and dumb
[0:13:10] and I bought into the whole thing.
[0:13:12] I wanted to avenge America.
[0:13:14] I wanted to get America's pound of flesh.
[0:13:16] and we were there for four or five months training to get ready to go.
[0:13:19] And right before we left, me and about seven of my buddies,
[0:13:22] we bought an old 1989 Chevy Bandura.
[0:13:25] And we said, we're going to go to Crawford, Texas.
[0:13:27] And I don't know if you know what's in Crawford or not,
[0:13:28] but it's where President Bush's ranch is at.
[0:13:31] And we knew that he was out of DC.
[0:13:33] He was home on his ranch on a vacation, a working vacation.
[0:13:37] And we said, we're going to go to Crawford Ranch
[0:13:39] and we're going to tell the president we're going to win this war for him.
[0:13:41] We're going to cut the head off the snake.
[0:13:43] We're going to be the ones that capture and kill Osama bin Laden.
[0:13:45] we're going to end this war. In the fourth year of this war, we're going to end it. Nobody else
[0:13:49] is going to have to come back. That's how bought into this thing we were. And we, so naive, we
[0:13:53] got to actually get to his ranch and a secret service is there like, Hey guys, you're not going
[0:13:58] any closer than this. And we told them what we were doing that we just, we just wanted to, you
[0:14:02] know, bend the knee and kiss the ring of the man that was giving us the honor of going and fighting
[0:14:06] for our country and cashing that check that we had written when we went to the recruiter.
[0:14:10] And we turned around and went home. We went to Afghanistan. We launched the first 45 day
[0:14:14] operation called Operation Mountain Lion when we were there. And at the end of that operation,
[0:14:19] I had 12 men and we were up in the deep in the northeastern Afghanistan, the Pesh River Valley
[0:14:23] in a remote outpost. And our boots were worn out. Our uniforms were threadbare. Our gloves,
[0:14:28] our goggles were destroyed. It's very tough terrain. And we needed supplies and we couldn't
[0:14:33] get them. And I started to get really, really frustrated with the chain of command, with the
[0:14:36] active duty army and the fact that National Guard was treated as stepchildren. And I started to see
[0:14:41] things through a little bit of a different lens and started studying the problem. And
[0:14:44] out of frustration, I grabbed a satellite phone and collided the top of the nearest mountain and
[0:14:48] used that satellite phone. And I called home, but not to mom, not to my friends.
[0:14:53] I called Governor Jim Risch and caught on his personal cell phone. A friend of mine had given
[0:14:57] me the number and he answered it. And he had just been appointed governor of Idaho because Dirk had
[0:15:03] gone back to DC and taken a cabinet position. And I told Governor Risch, I said, Hey, I'm one of
[0:15:10] your Idaho National Guard soldiers and we're in trouble. We need supplies and we can't get them.
[0:15:13] And he said, Dan, I've been the governor for a hot minute, but I do know the constitution says
[0:15:18] I'm the commander chief of the National Guard. I don't know what I can do, but I'll do something.
[0:15:22] And two days later, my battalion commander kicked my door open and said, I don't know what you did.
[0:15:27] I don't know who you called, but there's two shipping containers on the way from Idaho full
[0:15:31] of the supplies that we need. Now give me the damn satellite phone. He was pissed off that I'd
[0:15:36] stepped over the chain of command. But I held Jim Rish up on this pedestal. I thought he was,
[0:15:41] man, this guy understands the constitution. He understands that he's the commander in chief,
[0:15:44] and he understands the structure. And I held him up on this, just in this pedestal for years.
[0:15:49] And I got hurt and I came home from the war and I went underground. I got real heavy and
[0:15:53] threw a long beer and I was very disgruntled, just mad at society. And then I met my new wife
[0:15:59] and I started getting healthy again. And then I heard this orange man come down this golden
[0:16:02] an escalator and he talked about stupid and endless and undeclared wars and what a waste
[0:16:06] and how dumb they were. And George W. Bush was a moron. And I'm like, oh my God, somebody is
[0:16:10] speaking my language. They get it. And then Tulsi Gabbard was on the Democratic side saying the same
[0:16:15] thing. And I thought, oh my God, the country's waking up. And so I re-engaged. And I went to
[0:16:20] the Dominican Republic on my honeymoon and somebody threw a book in my bag on the way and said,
[0:16:23] you should read this. And it was right here. This is the actual copy. It's Fool's Aaron by Scott
[0:16:28] Horton. I don't know if you know Scott at all or are familiar with his work, but it, this is the,
[0:16:33] the Bible of our generation about the war in Afghanistan. And he, I was laying on the beach,
[0:16:38] my beautiful brides and they lay next to me and I'm reading this book and I'm screaming at it.
[0:16:43] I'm so fucking mad. Excuse me. I don't know what we can say anything you want, man. You're we're
[0:16:48] good. This is a no censorship space. There we go. And, uh, um, I'm reading it because Scott
[0:16:53] is footnoted and cited and, and reporting everything that's in my head and every belief
[0:16:57] I had about the war was now documented and it was proven. And I got home and I called this guy,
[0:17:03] Scott Horton, up. I didn't know him. And I started talking to him and told him about how he ruined
[0:17:06] my honeymoon. And we kind of laughed about it. And he encouraged me. He goes, Dan, you have skin in
[0:17:10] the game. You're a veteran. Nobody can look you in the eye and tell you, you don't know what you're
[0:17:13] talking about because you should do something. And that was kind of the beginning of this bring
[0:17:16] our troops home movement was a little inspiration from an orange man and a lady that looked like
[0:17:21] Cruella DeVille and a libertarian skater stoner named Scott Horton. And it opened my eyes and I
[0:17:27] started studying the constitution and the militia clause and how the national guard has been abused
[0:17:31] and how we the people don't really have representatives in washington dc anymore when
[0:17:35] it comes to war and foreign uh foreign policy and that's when i started the organization we're now
[0:17:40] several hundred thousand strong and we're pushing defend the guard legislation in over 30 states
[0:17:46] we've got it written into party platforms across the country and uh we're a growing movement and
[0:17:51] there's it's me completely volunteer and i have one paid a field operator in texas and other than
[0:17:56] that, we're all volunteering, which is the way real movements have to happen. Volunteerism is
[0:18:00] the key to liberty. Oh, yeah. Grassroots, engaging with your neighbors, you know,
[0:18:04] rebuilding community, finding it because we're isolated. You know, we're all isolated. We're all
[0:18:09] in our own algorithms. We're in our cars. We're listening to our podcasts. And, you know, there's
[0:18:14] very little social fabric anymore. And so things like this, defend the guard, bring our troops home
[0:18:19] where you're getting especially vets, because I cannot tell you how many vets that I've heard of
[0:18:25] committing suicide, falling into depression, you know, ruining their lives when they come back home
[0:18:31] and they realize that the war that they signed up for wasn't even for America. It wasn't for the
[0:18:37] people at home. You know, they weren't putting their skin on the line for their people. They
[0:18:42] were putting it on the line for Israel and for their objectives. And a lot of people fall into
[0:18:48] depression. And, you know, it's awful the way that we've treated the VA. And, you know, don't get me
[0:18:53] start about like the VA. I've had so many friends that have issues receiving care and stuff like
[0:18:58] that, but really, really important. And, you know, when it comes to the platform plank, I had the
[0:19:04] honor of being a delegate at the GOP convention two years ago, and I actually voted on the
[0:19:11] Defend the Guard platform plank to bring that in. And that is now a part of the Idaho GOP platform,
[0:19:18] which kind of brings us to the other little segment that I wanted to talk about with you a
[0:19:23] little bit, which is that the 2026 Idaho GOP state convention is coming up. It'll begin
[0:19:31] this Thursday down in Boise. And of course, this is where people come from all over the state.
[0:19:37] These precinct committeemen that we just elected in the last primary, right? They come and they
[0:19:42] make the state or they make their county central committees, county central committees, pick region
[0:19:47] committees. They go down to Boise and they're going to be voting on a new platform. They're
[0:19:52] going to be voting on new rules. And all of this stuff actually just came out today. We've got the
[0:19:58] packet now for the Rules Committee, which will be chaired by the Honorable Brent Regan. And there's
[0:20:05] a whole list of new rules that are proposed. There's a bunch of new platform planks that have
[0:20:11] been proposed as well. And some resolutions. This committee is being chaired by Scott Herndon.
[0:20:18] And, you know, on first glance anyway, you know, I was really, really concerned because I had seen a lot of people, especially down in the Boise area, talking about adding a rule or adding a platform plank, basically saying that if you don't support Israel and if you don't support the endless wars in the Middle East, you can't call yourself a Republican anymore.
[0:20:38] I was very concerned that that was going to happen because several people said that they were going to be submitting that.
[0:20:45] And thank God it looks like we're clear. It looks like that's not happening.
[0:20:49] So conscientious objectors like me, like you, we can still engage with the Republican Party without, you know, lying or faking it.
[0:21:00] You know, like we don't want our people going to war anymore.
[0:21:04] Like, and I'm tired of pretending, I'm tired of pretending like, like, like we're not, you know. But there is some interesting stuff going on. Namely, let me see if I can pull up the tweet. Let's see. But there are some people that are rising up to challenge Dorothy Moon, the current chairwoman of the GOP.
[0:21:31] We've got here, this came out last week, a guy named Mark Fuller from Southeast Idaho
[0:21:36] has announced that he is going to be running for chairman of the party against Dorothy.
[0:21:43] And it's very interesting to see all the people that are coming out in support of this bid,
[0:21:49] one of them being Heather Lauer, of course.
[0:21:52] But it's also interesting to note that this guy, Mark Fuller, was a masker.
[0:21:59] He said he told his people to wear a mask and to wear a mask to preserve your freedom to worship.
[0:22:06] Right. So this is who they want to replace Dorothy with.
[0:22:10] And of course, it's because of the Zionism issue.
[0:22:13] We saw we saw here in Kootenai County, there was a coup attempt against Brent Regan, our chair, our party chairman.
[0:22:20] And it was successful. It took four years.
[0:22:23] But they finally ousted Brent from the chairman of our local party.
[0:22:26] and now they're coming after Dorothy.
[0:22:29] And it's, in my opinion,
[0:22:30] because Dorothy just doesn't care about the Middle East.
[0:22:33] She cares about Idaho.
[0:22:35] She cares about our backyard.
[0:22:36] She cares about what's happening in our state.
[0:22:39] And whether you're pro-Israel
[0:22:41] or against the wars or whatever,
[0:22:44] usually she's just like,
[0:22:46] if this isn't about Idaho,
[0:22:47] I really don't want to hear it.
[0:22:49] And I think that that's the real hidden grammar.
[0:22:52] What are your thoughts about this development, I guess,
[0:22:56] this kind of coup against Dorothy.
[0:22:58] Yeah, no, it's these inner party fights that make me want to,
[0:23:02] I don't know if you ever remember that 80s movie, Brewster's Millions.
[0:23:06] No, I haven't seen it.
[0:23:07] I don't know if you, oh, it's a brilliant movie.
[0:23:09] Richard Pryor, the great comedian, he inherits like $42 million,
[0:23:14] which in 1986 money is a lot.
[0:23:16] And, but in order for him to get the money,
[0:23:18] he has to spend a million dollars a day for 30 days
[0:23:20] and he can't own anything when he's done.
[0:23:23] And so he runs a campaign.
[0:23:24] We running for office and he runs on a platform, none of the above, right?
[0:23:28] He's just, he says, don't vote for me or anybody else.
[0:23:31] And he spends all his money running for office.
[0:23:33] I, it's not that I don't like Dorothy.
[0:23:35] It's not that I don't like Mark.
[0:23:36] I just, the infighting makes me want to take that position, but I'm going to take a little
[0:23:40] bit of a nuanced approach to this conversation.
[0:23:42] And I have to do it carefully because I was just asked to, to vice chair the credentials
[0:23:47] committee.
[0:23:47] And so I need to remain somewhat publicly neutral.
[0:23:49] And so I'm going to be real careful about what I say.
[0:23:51] And I'm going to attack both people in this race because they both have done things that really frustrate.
[0:23:57] One, do I think there's a coup?
[0:24:00] No, I think there is a movement, right?
[0:24:02] I think that there are people organizing, trying to elect their candidate, which is Mark.
[0:24:06] And there's people who are organizing and trying to defend the chair in their candidate with this Dorothy.
[0:24:12] And I'm going to go back to the 2020 GOP convention when Mark Fuller was running against Tom Luna.
[0:24:18] And at the time, he brought a resolution to the floor of the Republican Party, and it was called the Idaho's Unequivocal Support for Israel.
[0:24:28] That was the name of the resolution.
[0:24:29] And in it, it said that Idaho will support Israel now and forever.
[0:24:34] No conditions.
[0:24:36] None.
[0:24:37] And it was defeated.
[0:24:39] It was defeated pretty soundly.
[0:24:41] And the Republican Party at that time, we don't have any reference to any other foreign nation in our platform.
[0:24:48] What I would like to see is if we're going to do those type of things,
[0:24:51] what about our number one trade partner, Canada?
[0:24:53] What about supporting them unequivocally?
[0:24:55] I mean, they're our biggest trade partner.
[0:24:57] What about Singapore where we do all of our tech trading?
[0:25:00] If we're going to start to name these passionate favorite nations,
[0:25:04] as George Washington called them in his farewell address,
[0:25:06] if we're going to passionately be tied to these nations,
[0:25:08] we should do it for something that has Idaho's interest in it.
[0:25:11] What is Idaho's interest in the Middle East?
[0:25:14] You can't name it.
[0:25:15] You can't do it.
[0:25:16] Then we go into the Senate or into the legislature where Dorothy was serving at the time, and she voted in favor of the anti-BDS legislation, which is the anti-boycott legislation against Israel, saying that if you want to do business with the state of Idaho, you have to certify that you do not boycott anything that Israel does.
[0:25:36] Okay, well, what's the point?
[0:25:38] There's no other nation that gives that kind of protection from our state.
[0:25:41] So obviously, we have done the thing that George Washington said that we were going to do.
[0:25:45] We have developed a passionate love affair with a foreign nation, and we're placing their interests ahead of our own.
[0:25:51] I want someone, imagine a chairperson who stood up and said this, I'm going to personally be in charge of raising a million dollars in each election cycle so that we can fight democratic socialism, DEI, and all the other shit that's creeping in from Boise.
[0:26:06] We're going to turn Boise into a competitive Republican battleground.
[0:26:09] We're going to draw a line at District 15 and keep it from creeping into District 20 and Meridian and West Ada.
[0:26:15] We're going to draw a line in the sand and we're going to win seats back in 16 and 17 and 18.
[0:26:20] We're going to win districts back, our seats back in district 28 and 29 in Pocatello.
[0:26:24] We're going to make Idaho more conservative by focusing on Idaho.
[0:26:28] Idaho first. Make Idaho great again. Idaho first legislation.
[0:26:32] If they would stand up and do that and say that we're going to invite churches back into the party.
[0:26:36] We're going to invite independent media sources into the party.
[0:26:40] we're going to build an ecosystem of conservative idahoans into the party none of that other shit
[0:26:47] would matter anymore we wouldn't have to fight over it yeah and unfortunately when you bend the
[0:26:51] knee and you bow down to a foreign nation no matter whether it's israel mexico canada
[0:26:56] singapore it doesn't matter it's idaho first and that's the nuance i want to take is i want a party
[0:27:02] leader to stand up and defend idaho and fight for idaho and none of that other foreign nation
[0:27:08] bullcrap. Amen. So when are you going to run? When are you going to run for chairman? You got my
[0:27:14] vote. I mean, it's just so amazing, you know, because I've spent a lot of time trying to reason
[0:27:20] with some of these people, especially the group up here. We've got a church that's particularly
[0:27:25] Loud Candlelight Christian Fellowship. They've been very involved politically,
[0:27:29] spreading misinformation, engaging in infighting and all of this type of stuff. And I'm just like,
[0:27:33] I remember meeting with the pastor in, I think it was 2023, Paul Van Nooyen. I was just like,
[0:27:37] listen, why are we fighting about what happens 5,000 miles away? Why does it matter whether you
[0:27:44] support or oppose foreign policy when you're running for school board, when you're running
[0:27:50] for city council, when you're running for mayor of Coeur d'Alene? Why does it matter what your
[0:27:56] position on a country 5,000 miles away? Can we just agree to focus on our home? Can we agree to
[0:28:04] focus on our neighborhood? And basically the answer was no, no, we can't. And if you're involved in
[0:28:10] the party, we're going to burn the whole thing down. It's just incredible. Uh, the, the, the
[0:28:14] inability, um, and the, the, the, the way that the priorities are just so far out of whack. Um,
[0:28:21] you know, it's, it's just very disappointing, uh, to see the levels. And, you know, we saw this too
[0:28:27] with, uh, with like Tom Massey, just the amount of the rhetoric about him, like he opposed the war.
[0:28:32] he uh brought the epstein files forward so that we all we all could see what's in there
[0:28:38] and we got people like alex grenier or whatever his name is down in boise calling him a democrat
[0:28:44] calling him a socialist and all and it's just like can we can we not do this and this will be
[0:28:50] the last i don't really like to get involved in this fight because there's never a winner in this
[0:28:54] But the vice chair of the Kentucky Republican Party is a state senator.
[0:29:01] And I'm not going to bring his name up.
[0:29:03] People can look him up.
[0:29:04] But he's the vice chair of the party.
[0:29:06] He is the author and the lead sponsor of Kentucky's anti-BDS legislation.
[0:29:11] And for those that don't know what BDS is, it's the anti-boycott, divestment, and sanctions movement.
[0:29:16] So it's a way to say that if you want to do business with the government, you have to promise that you and anybody else that you do business with,
[0:29:23] your contractors, your employees, your suppliers, that none of them will boycott or divest themselves
[0:29:28] of anything related to Israel. It's a virtue signal that has become very prevalent. And in
[0:29:36] fact, Kentucky's legislation almost mirrors Mark Fuller's resolution word for word, including the
[0:29:41] use of the word unequivocal, which is kind of an uncommon word. But Paul Massey was defeated because
[0:29:48] of the money that came in from the pro-Israel lobby. And this is not me being an anti-Semite.
[0:29:53] This is not me being a conspiracy theorist. This is me reading the FEC reports, right? I mean,
[0:29:57] there's only so much money that you can hide without showing where it came from. And when
[0:30:02] Citizens United is dumping $17, $20 million into a race, and they're doing it through their state
[0:30:08] party because of the connections with their vice chair, it just demonstrates that we're not in
[0:30:13] control of our own elections. And it's frustrating, but you're right. What does any of this have to do
[0:30:17] with Idaho, with America. We were sold this bill of goods that we built this coalition of left and
[0:30:24] right, of anti-war, of young, of crypto people, of people that want sound gold and all the other
[0:30:32] things. This huge coalition came to first because we were promised something called America First.
[0:30:37] America First was the promise. MAGA was the byproduct. And what has happened is MAGA has
[0:30:43] turned into this cult of personality that it's whatever the man at the top wearing the red hat
[0:30:47] says it is. And America first is a byproduct of MAGA. And that's, that's the inversion of what
[0:30:52] we were promised. And the coalition's falling apart. The numbers of people that support
[0:30:58] President Trump within MAGA is astronomically high. But if you were to widen that out to what
[0:31:04] the America first coalition was, it would be alarmingly low. And he's not facing reelection.
[0:31:09] So I don't know that he cares. In fact, he's even said he doesn't care about inflation numbers. In
[0:31:13] fact, he said he likes the inflation numbers. He says he doesn't care at all about the financial
[0:31:17] blight of Americans. He's not the guy that the coalition came together for. And you have to ask
[0:31:23] why. It's because he put the interests of another nation ahead of our own. It's the opposite of
[0:31:28] America first. And I promise you, history will not be kind to that. No. And it's amazing too,
[0:31:33] to see like, there's this clip from the debates. I think it was in 2016 where he's, you know,
[0:31:39] dressing down Marco Rubio about how Sheldon Adelson has got his hand up his butt and he's,
[0:31:44] he's a puppet. And, you know, then here we are basically a decade later, turns around and takes
[0:31:49] $250 million from the Adelsons and is exactly what he was accusing Marco Rubio of being back,
[0:31:57] back in the day. It's just, uh, yeah, it's crazy. Um, now I guess just while I've got you here,
[0:32:07] right? Speaking of resolutions, there is one resolution, which is interesting.
[0:32:15] Here, let me pull this up. And of course, this is coming from our very own Nina Beasley
[0:32:20] from Kootenai County, who has a resolution that will be voted on this coming week. The title is
[0:32:28] Resolutions Supporting Israel's Right to Exist and Condemning Hamas. Again, and so this is for
[0:32:34] the third year anniversary of October 7th. Basically, once again, virtue signaling about
[0:32:42] everything that happened on October 7th, blah, blah, blah. Therefore, be it resolved,
[0:32:49] what does it even say, that we condemn all enemies of Israel and those dedicated to the
[0:32:55] destruction of Israel, the West, and Western civilization. What does this even mean? Why is
[0:33:01] this even being introduced to a state GOP convention? It boggles my mind anyway.
[0:33:08] That boggles my mind because Nina was one of the great warriors that helped us get Defend
[0:33:13] the Guard added to the party platform on an America First platform. I haven't talked to
[0:33:18] Nina since 2022, or was it 24? It was 22 when we got it added, right?
[0:33:23] No, 24. It was 24.
[0:33:24] 24. You're right. In Coeur d'Alene.
[0:33:25] Yep.
[0:33:26] And we had to literally arm wrestle in that committee hearing to get it even heard.
[0:33:33] I mean, we literally had to suspend rules.
[0:33:35] We had to create a coalition.
[0:33:36] We had to fight against one of the worst legislators in the state, Ben Furman, who kept playing Robert's Rules games in the committee hearing.
[0:33:43] And if it wasn't for the great work of the parliamentarian at the time, Cornell Razor, allowing us to use the rules to our favor for once, it would have never been added.
[0:33:51] And Nina was one of the champions of that.
[0:33:54] Yeah.
[0:33:54] And so I hadn't even seen this resolution. I haven't seen any of the resolutions yet. And I'm, I'm, I probably won't, won't dig into them too much until I finish my, my credentials work.
[0:34:03] Yeah. Yeah. They just, they just got released today. So this is like fresh off the presses. But yeah, you know, Nina used to babysit my kids. Like we used to be like this. She had my copy of the Jewish revolutionary spirit by E. Michael Jones on her bookshelf for five years. I just got it back from her like a month or two ago.
[0:34:21] and so I don't know what happened to her I think she got psyoped actually um and it was like right
[0:34:28] at the same time she was like going through menopause but she's just totally totally lost it
[0:34:33] and it's just like you know come on can we like pull back a little bit look at the world it's okay
[0:34:43] it's not the end of the world you know like but anyway this is what happens when you get I think
[0:34:48] if we were to tone the rhetoric back on both sides and say, Hey, we are here. Here's the goal.
[0:34:53] Anything you want to support that is not America first, that is great. That is your right. You
[0:34:58] should do that with your own time, your own money, your own resources, but anything that has to do
[0:35:04] with America, Idahoans, my Liberty, my property, my all the, all the things, if they're not yours
[0:35:11] to give away, let's focus on America first. And if we would just take those divisive issues and
[0:35:15] put them aside. And I'll say, I am not an anti-Semite by any stretch of the imagination.
[0:35:21] I am Christian. I believe in Jesus Christ. He's my Lord and Savior. I believe that the
[0:35:27] foundation of society and all major religions can be found within about a 60-mile radius. And I want
[0:35:32] to go there someday, but I don't want to do it under the guise or the pretense of anything other
[0:35:37] than this. I want to walk where my Lord and Savior walked. I want to walk where Jesus Christ walked.
[0:35:41] I want to touch the things that he touched, but I don't want to do it with the lens that I'm doing it to support or to pay fealty to any other foreign nation.
[0:35:50] And the nation of Israel that exists today is not the people of Israel in the Old Testament or the New Testament.
[0:35:55] That is not the same thing.
[0:35:56] And so if we could just take all of those things aside, wash them away.
[0:36:01] Let's focus on securing our life, our liberty, our property, our nation, our culture, our borders.
[0:36:09] if we could focus on those things,
[0:36:11] we would find more in common with these people than,
[0:36:14] than,
[0:36:14] than we have separating us.
[0:36:16] Instead,
[0:36:16] we let one divisive issue create separation within our party,
[0:36:20] within our communities,
[0:36:20] within our churches,
[0:36:21] within our,
[0:36:22] our neighborhoods.
[0:36:23] And that issue is not even anything that has anything to do with America or an
[0:36:28] American first agenda.
[0:36:29] Right.
[0:36:29] No,
[0:36:30] I'm,
[0:36:30] I'm really looking forward to the day when we can like focus on,
[0:36:35] I don't know,
[0:36:35] like abolishing property taxes,
[0:36:36] you know,
[0:36:38] like maybe like cracking down on human trafficking and drugs or something like that.
[0:36:42] You know, and it's just amazing that like we spend so much time arguing about this,
[0:36:47] talking about this. There are sermons about it, lectures, books written about it. I mean,
[0:36:52] I was just looking at, there's a great book, Clifford Kirikoff's Dark Crusade, which is all
[0:36:58] about this same stuff, the Israel lobby and all of that. There's a John Mearsheimer's book too.
[0:37:03] But it's like, I'm very ready to just.
[0:37:06] Is it okay for us to say that Mearsheimer has been right for 20 plus years?
[0:37:10] Is it okay for us to say this yet?
[0:37:11] I don't know.
[0:37:12] Mearsheimer has been right.
[0:37:13] Yes.
[0:37:14] Yes, he has.
[0:37:15] Him and Jeffrey Sachs, all of the real, the people like, you know, kind of like hovering
[0:37:20] around Napolitano, you know, Douglas McGregor, Colonel Douglas McGregor, all these types of
[0:37:26] guys.
[0:37:26] I talked to him yesterday.
[0:37:27] Oh, nice.
[0:37:27] Very good.
[0:37:28] But yeah, so, I mean, it's, I feel like we've been stuck in this.
[0:37:33] It's been since like the seventies.
[0:37:35] this exact same argument.
[0:37:37] We've been going around, going around,
[0:37:39] and it's like, meanwhile, there's potholes in the roads.
[0:37:41] We're being invaded.
[0:37:42] Our economy is totally teetering on the edge.
[0:37:46] This SpaceX IPO, I don't know if you've been following that.
[0:37:48] That's been absolutely crazy.
[0:37:50] But yeah, well, thank you so much for joining us today.
[0:37:54] Don't need to belabor the point,
[0:37:55] but we kind of covered everything that I wanted to cover.
[0:37:58] Please tell everybody again where they can find you
[0:38:00] and how they can pitch in,
[0:38:01] because I do think that Defend the Guard,
[0:38:03] especially getting it added to your state,
[0:38:05] party platform, that we are no longer going to act as the world's policemen. We're not going to be
[0:38:11] going around busting in doors because some foreign government wants it. You know, it's about America
[0:38:17] and protecting our country. And that's, I think, what Defend the Guard and Bring Our Troops Home
[0:38:23] is about. So if you want to just give a quick plug and I'll show it all on screen.
[0:38:27] Yeah, I'm going to say one last thing about the convention. Everybody that's going as a delegate,
[0:38:31] You should go with your eyes wide open, your hearts open, and your ears open, and let's
[0:38:35] listen to the speeches, listen to the debates, listen to the talking points, and then look
[0:38:39] at what they actually do with their words.
[0:38:41] We need a leader of our party who's going to fight for the party and fight for Idaho
[0:38:45] first.
[0:38:45] And if anything else that they say puts Idaho secondary to any other interest, we shouldn't
[0:38:50] vote for them and we shouldn't lend them one more ounce of our energy or time.
[0:38:54] You can find us at bringourtroophome.us, defendtheguard.us, or on social media at Troops Home US.
[0:39:00] We have a great new podcast called the Bring Our Troops Home Podcast.
[0:39:04] You can find it on all of the podcast places.
[0:39:07] But we prefer people, if you're going to watch, go to X and watch us on there.
[0:39:12] It's the best distribution channel we can find without getting throttled for any other reason.
[0:39:16] And if you would do one last thing.
[0:39:18] We just got, we were added to the party platform in Idaho and Texas and Maine and New Hampshire and a couple other places.
[0:39:25] We were just down in Texas at their GOP convention last week for the whole week.
[0:39:29] Defend the Guard is now part of the legislative priorities
[0:39:32] that were passed by the 7,500 delegates in Texas.
[0:39:36] And it falls under the federal overreach legislative priority.
[0:39:39] And they actually do things in the Texas GOP.
[0:39:42] If they pass legislative priorities
[0:39:44] and those legislators don't pass those things,
[0:39:47] they strip them of resources.
[0:39:48] They strip them of the party brand.
[0:39:50] And so that's the way it should be.
[0:39:52] If you want to ride for the brand,
[0:39:53] you better ride for the goddamn brand.
[0:39:55] And we should be doing that here.
[0:39:57] Our platform should be ironclad
[0:39:59] and our legislators in Idaho should be doing exactly what the platform, the grassroots created
[0:40:04] says that they should be doing. And if we can't get that, then the party has no business even
[0:40:08] existing and we should just get into the anarcho-capitalist realm and start partying with
[0:40:13] those people. They're a lot more fun anyway. True, true. Well, thank you so much for joining us.
[0:40:18] Hopefully we'll get a chance to see you down in Boise a little bit later this week.
[0:40:23] Sounds good. Thank you very much. All right. Well, that was great. Thank you again to Dan
[0:40:28] McKnight for joining us. Uh, we've got some commercials that we're going to be going over and,
[0:40:33] uh, great to be back in the saddle, man. I'm so sorry, by the way, that I was gone,
[0:40:40] uh, for the past couple of weeks. Uh, I was supposed to do this interview with Dan,
[0:40:44] like I think two Wednesdays ago, but I got like the worst case of food poisoning in my life. I
[0:40:52] was like in bed for like four days straight. So I do apologize. And then I was in Pittsburgh
[0:40:56] and maybe that's a story that I'll get into.
[0:40:59] Holy crap, dude.
[0:41:00] I mean, going from Idaho to Pittsburgh
[0:41:03] is really on another level.
[0:41:06] I mean, it is like going to a different country.
[0:41:08] I mean, just crackheads everywhere.
[0:41:11] I check in, get into my hotel.
[0:41:15] That was a whole conundrum in the first place.
[0:41:19] It took like two hours to get into the hotel,
[0:41:20] but then the next morning at 6 a.m.,
[0:41:22] I'm woken up with some crackhead outside my window screaming because they dropped a crack rock and they started sobbing, crying that they couldn't find it anymore.
[0:41:31] And it was like that every day of the week. It was incredible. Could not sleep in, couldn't do anything. Jeepers.
[0:41:40] And anyway, I totally forgot to do the billboards at the beginning.
[0:41:44] So hopefully our great sponsors, our great advertisers won't mind too much.
[0:41:50] But we do have to give them a big shout out, of course, for making this program possible.
[0:41:55] ODGGsupply.com.
[0:41:57] They are your home for everything.
[0:42:00] Military surplus, whether it's a rucksack that you're looking for or outdoor gear,
[0:42:06] stuff to stay warm during the winter, blankies, MREs, gun accessories.
[0:42:11] I think we're allowed to say that.
[0:42:13] Maybe, maybe not.
[0:42:14] Pew Pew accessories.
[0:42:16] Medical.
[0:42:16] They've got a bunch of medical kits as well.
[0:42:18] So if you are driving around this country and you don't have like a medical kit and a bug out bag in your car, you are in fact doing it wrong.
[0:42:27] You do need to visit odggsupply.com and get yourself prepared because God knows things could get crazy over the next couple of years.
[0:42:39] Protests, domestic, the ice stuff could always pop off again.
[0:42:42] So you want to make sure that you are prepared.
[0:42:46] And normally I would tell you to use promo code Backlash14.
[0:42:50] You'd get 14% off your order.
[0:42:52] But it looks like they're doing a 15% off deal with promo code Guilty.
[0:42:58] So use promo code Guilty.
[0:43:00] You'll get 15% off your order at checkout at ODGG Supply.
[0:43:06] Then, of course, our friends at Above Time Coffee Roasters,
[0:43:10] makers of fine small batch hand-roasted fair trade non-kosher coffee.
[0:43:16] at Above Time Coffee Roasters.
[0:43:18] It is the most delicious coffee that I've ever drank.
[0:43:21] Been hooked for the past several months on this stuff
[0:43:24] and cannot give it high enough praise.
[0:43:28] They've got everything that you need
[0:43:29] to make a primo cup of coffee,
[0:43:31] French press, electric coffee bean grinders, mocha pots,
[0:43:35] and of course, all of their different roasts.
[0:43:37] They've got dark roasts, medium, light roasts.
[0:43:39] Of course, if you want the highest caffeine content,
[0:43:43] as, as I do, uh, you know, crack in a cup, you want to get their light roast, the organic new
[0:43:51] England. It's tasty. It's delicious. It's not kosher. It's, uh, everything that you could
[0:43:57] possibly want in a cup of coffee. So please go to above time, coffee.com and use promo code
[0:44:02] backlash 10. You'll get 10% off your order. And, uh, man, you want to talk about craziness this
[0:44:08] past week. I don't know if I have any of the, uh, the things bookmarked or not, but one of our
[0:44:13] other sponsors caused quite a stir at the New Christendom conference over the weekend. Of course,
[0:44:18] I'm talking about Above Time, no, not Above Time Coffee. I'm talking about Antelope Hill Publishing,
[0:44:24] who's fighting to keep history alive amidst a regime of anti-white censorship. Have you seen
[0:44:29] the backlash that they have been facing on X? Let me see if I can pull up their feed. It's just been
[0:44:36] amazing Antelope Hill to see all of these people pearl clutching, like, oh my God,
[0:44:44] they're selling books. They're selling books at a conference. This is awful. Let me see. Let's see
[0:44:52] if any of this, it's just been like one after another. Like here's one from Grace Family
[0:44:58] Baptist. This is not Reformed Baptist orthodoxy. This is evil. You know, like reading a book,
[0:45:08] reading a history book is evil, right? So it's just incredible to see all the backlash
[0:45:16] against Antelope Hill. We love them. Thank you once again, Antelope Hill, for supporting the show,
[0:45:22] for being a sponsor here.
[0:45:25] And where's the script that I will read
[0:45:28] as we look at some of their beautiful books for sale
[0:45:32] at antelopehillpublishing.com.
[0:45:34] They're fighting to keep history alive
[0:45:35] and to equip new generations of dissidents
[0:45:38] with the information needed to fight the anti-white regime.
[0:45:40] Their varied catalog includes newly updated
[0:45:43] and expanded third edition
[0:45:45] of Dr. Kevin MacDonald's Culture of Critique,
[0:45:47] the essential modern text on Jewish identity,
[0:45:50] Dr. Ricardo Duchesne's magnum opus,
[0:45:52] Greatness and Ruin, the definitive scholarly examination of European exceptionalism, as well as
[0:45:57] works by Kerry Bolton, Paul Kersey, and Josh Neill. Antelope Hill recently brought David Irving's
[0:46:04] iconic Nuremberg The Last Battle back into print and have numerous translations of historical works
[0:46:09] from eras such as Fascist Italy, National Socialist Germany, and Civil War Spain, all previously
[0:46:15] unavailable in English. There are also plenty of books on contemporary issues such as transgenderism,
[0:46:20] the opioid crisis, and Christian nationalism, as well as history books, novels, and children's
[0:46:25] books. So whatever your interest is, you're bound to find books that you like at Antelope Hill,
[0:46:29] all professionally published and with sleek modern cover art. Help us and help our people
[0:46:34] by checking out companies that share our values and fight for our cause. Visit antelopehillpublishing.com
[0:46:40] and use promo code Backlash10. You'll get 10% off your order. Man, but it really is crazy to me that
[0:46:46] Like, all of these people are freaking out.
[0:46:49] Oh, my.
[0:46:50] They sell books with Mussolini speeches?
[0:46:53] Like, yeah, man, that happened.
[0:46:55] It was history.
[0:46:56] It's called history.
[0:46:57] It's called learning your history so you don't repeat it again, right?
[0:47:02] What are we talking about here?
[0:47:04] Like, reading a book of somebody's collected speeches is not going to turn you into some sort of genocidal maniac.
[0:47:12] what's going to happen is you're probably going to walk away with more historical context and
[0:47:17] understanding than if you hadn't read the book. Like this is, it's just crazy to me how these
[0:47:26] people are acting and behaving as if like reading a book is a sin. I mean, come on, it's 2026.
[0:47:36] Do we have to do this?
[0:47:39] I guess.
[0:47:40] I guess.
[0:47:43] Oy vey.
[0:47:44] What's up to everybody that's joined us, by the way?
[0:47:46] Silent Vector, Still Hollow, Seeky907, MilitiaGuy,
[0:47:50] thank you all for joining in the chat.
[0:47:53] I do appreciate all of you joining me.
[0:47:56] And thanks for tuning back in after this long absence, I guess.
[0:48:02] It's been crazy, man.
[0:48:03] Like, in the past week, like, my daughter graduated kindergarten.
[0:48:06] like a lot of stuff has happened
[0:48:09] like this supposedly the war in Iran is over
[0:48:12] and by the way there was a big deal
[0:48:14] I'll put this on the screen
[0:48:15] huge deal actually
[0:48:17] yesterday over a hundred souls
[0:48:20] were received into the Catholic Church
[0:48:24] through the Sacrament of Confirmation
[0:48:26] Bishop Thillet from the SSPX
[0:48:30] was here in North Idaho
[0:48:31] and did the Sacrament of Confirmation
[0:48:33] and yes I was a confirmation sponsor
[0:48:36] Thank you for picking me to help you come in the church, Mr. Anonymous, Mr. Redacted.
[0:48:44] But this is huge.
[0:48:46] I mean, we had—you might remember I talked about this a couple weeks ago.
[0:48:50] You know, Vince's daughter just got confirmed, and we had confirmation with the Bishop of Boise.
[0:48:58] That was like a month ago or so.
[0:48:59] And they had 100 people get confirmed at their thing, but it was like 100 people from the entire county.
[0:49:08] There's St. George's, St. Thomas, St. Stanislaus, St. Jones.
[0:49:12] There's like five or six different Catholic churches in the county.
[0:49:16] And so they all came together and had one big giant confirmation ceremony in Coeur d'Alene, and they had 100 people.
[0:49:23] At our church alone, we had 100.
[0:49:25] not bragging not bragging not saying anything i'm just saying big things big things are happening
[0:49:34] uh and of course it was great to see his excellency uh bishop filet again it's been
[0:49:39] several years since i've seen him but uh he's doing good and uh i guess he's going to be
[0:49:45] excommunicated in like two weeks so hey we'll see what happens of course we've got a couple of shows
[0:49:51] lined up about that, this big controversy that's going on at the Vatican right now with the Society
[0:49:56] of St. Pius X. The traditionalists are going to be ordaining new or consecrating new bishops,
[0:50:02] four new bishops. And the Vatican is, of course, threatening to excommunicate everybody.
[0:50:08] So we'll see what happens there. But speaking of, there is a new documentary out about this whole
[0:50:16] thing, this whole traditional Catholic thing. And I'm going to put it up on the screen for you
[0:50:22] because you should watch these. Uh, it's called Tradizio. Uh, absolutely unbelievable. How long
[0:50:29] is the trailer? Maybe I'll, I'll play the trailer real quick. You've, you guys have got to see this.
[0:50:35] This is a really incredible film. I watched it, uh, yesterday, uh, the first one anyway. So here,
[0:50:40] Let's take a quick look at this.
[0:50:45] If it's going to load.
[0:50:47] It's going to load for me.
[0:50:48] Come on.
[0:50:50] Why did I want to become a priest?
[0:50:52] Why would anyone want to become a priest, really?
[0:50:55] The example I saw in other priests was an example of someone who has given themselves without limit
[0:51:04] to the service of others, to the service of Christ and his church.
[0:51:10] You think to yourself, it's impossible for me, I'm no one.
[0:51:19] And yet, he's calling me.
[0:51:21] What is a priest?
[0:51:24] Who is the priest?
[0:51:27] That's a very big question.
[0:51:30] The priest, we can say, is another Christ.
[0:51:34] It's the person who will make the bridge between the men and our Lord.
[0:51:40] He's going to be a father of souls.
[0:51:46] Our Lord, he tells the apostles, go forth and teach all nations.
[0:51:58] Baptisez-les, that is to give them the divine life.
[0:52:02] The priest puts the whole church with the whole work of the word of Jesus Christ.
[0:52:10] The word of Jesus Christ in Rome and the time.
[0:52:12] Mr Lefebvre has transmitted us this spirit of the Church.
[0:52:16] As Saint Paul said, I have transmitted what I have received myself.
[0:52:21] It is God who sends his Son, his Son who sends the apostles,
[0:52:25] and it's the Church that was sent to the whole world.
[0:52:30] Christ died for every individual to be saved.
[0:52:35] In performing my priestly duty, I'm praying for the soul.
[0:52:42] He's the charge of helping the faithful throughout his spiritual life,
[0:52:47] from birth to baptism,
[0:52:50] to death with extreme emotions.
[0:52:53] Do you believe in Jesus Christ, our Lord who is born and who is born for us?
[0:53:00] I believe.
[0:53:03] The power that is brought, it's not human power. It's our Lord.
[0:53:14] The people who think about it, we think about it.
[0:53:23] We are very grateful to God for the support of these fathers.
[0:53:28] We have given from God. God sent.
[0:53:33] The Fraternity of St. Pio X does not challenge the Church, but wants to give service to the Church,
[0:53:41] by supporting the souls that are now in return.
[0:53:47] Mmm, powerful!
[0:53:53] Powerful, powerful video. But yeah, I watched the first edition of that. It came out, I guess,
[0:54:00] two weeks ago, part one of Traditio. I haven't watched part two yet, but this is fantastic. I
[0:54:09] mean, it's really good content. And you got to watch it, man. Especially if you're like looking
[0:54:16] around and you're at an evangelical Zionist church and you're thinking to yourself, you know,
[0:54:20] Why am I still going here? There's got to be something else going on. You can see a little bit of what the Catholic faith really is about. And it also goes to expose the crisis in the church, why the traditionalists even exist. So it's a very good thing. I think you should watch it. It's called Traditio, T-R-A-D-I-T-I-O. Definitely give that a view.
[0:54:47] what else
[0:54:50] what else
[0:54:51] yes let's see
[0:54:55] we've got to give another shout out to our sponsor
[0:54:57] IdahoTaloCompany.com
[0:54:59] IdahoTalo
[0:55:00] IdahoTalo.com
[0:55:02] it makes soap and skin care products
[0:55:04] without endocrine disruptors
[0:55:05] no harsh chemicals
[0:55:06] handcrafted right here in Idaho
[0:55:09] by a small family owned business
[0:55:11] pro white
[0:55:12] pro Christian
[0:55:14] jeepers creepers
[0:55:18] Sorry about that.
[0:55:19] I should probably lay off the smoking a little bit.
[0:55:22] It's starting to catch up with me.
[0:55:24] But soap, skin balm, lip balm,
[0:55:28] especially if you're like worried about the ticks, right?
[0:55:30] I know that PNW Gorilla has been going off
[0:55:33] about these bioengineered ticks.
[0:55:35] And so you're gonna wanna get some of this,
[0:55:38] where is it, Bug Off Tallow Balm?
[0:55:41] Been using some of this as we go to the beach,
[0:55:44] to the river, there's mosquitoes.
[0:55:46] this keeps the bugs away and it's not poison.
[0:55:50] So that's the problem with all this like DEET
[0:55:53] and all of these like insect repellents.
[0:55:55] That's like literally poison
[0:55:56] that you're just like putting in your body, on your body.
[0:55:59] So that's not good.
[0:56:01] It'd be better to use something natural like Idaho Tallow.
[0:56:06] And of course, orders over $100 ship for free.
[0:56:09] They've also got their Soap of the Month Club
[0:56:11] so they can automatically send you soap.
[0:56:13] You don't even have to think about it.
[0:56:14] and it is the best soap I've ever used.
[0:56:20] And I've even been using the balms too.
[0:56:22] And it's good.
[0:56:24] So that's at idahotallo.com.
[0:56:26] And if you are worried about the economy,
[0:56:28] if you're worried about what's going on with like SpaceX,
[0:56:31] this crazy valuation that they got,
[0:56:33] what's it at today, by the way?
[0:56:34] Where are we at with SpaceX?
[0:56:39] Is that in my watch list?
[0:56:41] 100, holy shit, dude, $192.
[0:56:44] RIP to everybody that shorted.
[0:56:48] RIP to absolutely everybody that shorted SpaceX.
[0:56:52] Look at this.
[0:56:53] It went from $160 on Friday to where we at now?
[0:56:59] Let's see.
[0:57:00] 193.
[0:57:02] 192.
[0:57:04] Unbelievable.
[0:57:06] So yeah, hopefully you didn't short that one
[0:57:08] because that would have hurt.
[0:57:11] Jeez, Bitcoin, by the way,
[0:57:13] They put in a little bit of a bottom a couple days ago.
[0:57:17] Looks like it's working its way back up.
[0:57:19] But gold and silver, looking like a good time to buy.
[0:57:22] And you can do that, of course, with our friends here at atlasbullion.com slash backlash.
[0:57:28] If you're worried about the amount of money that they're going to print, I mean, $300
[0:57:33] billion we're going to give to Iran, that's going to be inflationary.
[0:57:37] The fallout from this Strait of Hormuz stuff has not yet fully hit.
[0:57:42] That will be inflationary. And, uh, you know, this AI stuff is definitely going to be leading
[0:57:49] to problems with the economy, whether it's people getting, uh, fired from their jobs
[0:57:55] or laid off, whatever. So anyway, protect yourself, protect your wealth by buying gold
[0:58:02] and silver at atlasbullion.com. They've got gold and silver subscriptions as low as $55 a month.
[0:58:08] so you can get signed up and stack precious metals the easy way with Atlas Bullion.
[0:58:14] And of course, every purchase does help subsidize the production of this show.
[0:58:19] But hey, you can't save in dollars.
[0:58:26] You just, you cannot do it because they print more of it
[0:58:29] and it becomes worth less and less over time.
[0:58:31] It's not good. Not good at all.
[0:58:35] So that does it for our sponsors.
[0:58:38] I need some
[0:58:41] advice, I guess, from you guys. Who do you want to see on the show?
[0:58:47] We've got some people lined up to come on, but
[0:58:49] drop a comment. Let me know who you would like to see
[0:58:53] on the podcast. We should be having
[0:58:58] some interesting conversations.
[0:59:01] And yeah, a lot of big things happening here in North Idaho.
[0:59:04] So can't get too much into it
[0:59:07] You know, that's the thing that sucks about having a public podcast
[0:59:10] You can't really spill the beans
[0:59:13] You know, you gotta move in silence
[0:59:15] But if you are in North Idaho or Spokane or, you know, just the Pacific Northwest
[0:59:21] Get in touch, send me an email at info at the backlash dot net
[0:59:23] We'll get you hooked up
[0:59:24] Make you part of the community
[0:59:27] And get you situated
[0:59:29] So anyway, that's what we got for you today on The Backlash
[0:59:32] We will be back on Wednesday
[0:59:34] and we'll have a big show for you then.
[0:59:36] So please join us on Wednesday.
[0:59:39] Thank you for subscribing and watching and tuning in.
[0:59:42] It's great to be back with all of you.
[0:59:44] God bless.
[0:59:45] Have a great rest of your day.
[1:00:04] Thank you.
[1:00:34] Thank you.
[1:01:04] We'll be right back.
[1:01:34] Thank you.
[1:02:04] you
