The Backlash Ep. 49 — LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival w Ryan Matta
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:02:38 ] Discussion about the past, present, and future of Western civilization. I am your host,
Rebecca Hargraves. I'm joined, as always, by Mr. Dave Riley. First, I want to talk about what Dave has
done to me today, okay? So I show up. What have I done to you? I show up. Okay, there's no outline,
which, you know, normally I make, but he's like, we're just going to do like a chill live stream. It's going
to be fine. I have nightmares about showing up unprepared for tests in high school, and now I'm on a
live stream. Live streaming right now. No preparation. I don't know anything about you. Nobody comes
between us.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:03:11 ] Just straight from us to you.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:03:13 ] This is my worst nightmare. This is great. We are at Hetero Awesomeness.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:03:17 ] We are at Hetero Awesomeness Festival. Here, I can show this on the screen. No, I can't.
Because we're having technical difficulties already. Isn't this wonderful? It's fine. This is Dave Riley. Off
to a good start. There we go. There it is. Hetero Awesomeness Festival.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:03:32 ] Cigar smoker.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:03:33 ] We are smoking. This is a. Axum, I don't know, a foundation cigar. Very nice. Smells good.
I'm enjoying it. We've got some Irish music in the background.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:03:45 ] Let me know if it's too loud, you guys, because there is literally nothing we can do about it.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:03:49 ] Somebody says, I like the music. Oh, good. That's good. This is the quietest band that's
going to be on today, so I figured this might be the best spot.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:03:58 ] Plus, you were late. You were two hours late getting down here. It was a hellish drive. It
was truly hellish.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:04:04 ] We are open carrying as well. You're in Boise. Got my Glock 19.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:04:08 ] All right, introduce our guests.
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
David J. Reilly
[ 00:04:09 ] We've got Ryan Matta with us.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:04:11 ] If you burn me in the face.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:04:12 ] I'm going to burn you in the face. Ryan Matta, documentary filmmaker. He made, what is it,
God Bitcoin?
Ryan Matta
[ 00:04:19 ] The Great El Salvadorian Comeback, God, Bukele, and Bitcoin. There we go. What is
treason? Hashtag trafficked. What is treason? Hashtag invaded. Operation Amber Alert Guatemala and
Operation Amber Alert regime change in the last eight months. There we go.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:04:30 ] In the last eight months. I don't know. Do you have a team that helps you?
Ryan Matta
[ 00:04:34 ] I have an editor in Africa who has one laptop and doesn't have the ability to even download
my stuff because his internet is not good enough. And he edits with Netflix quality, one laptop, not even
a second screen.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:04:46 ] No, your stuff looks good. Your trailers are always banging. Let me make sure we get your
profile up.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:04:52 ] I can't afford to pay a legit editor here in America.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:04:55 ] You got to do what you got to do to make the content, you know?
David J. Reilly
[ 00:04:58 ] But first, we have to tell the people what they're listening to. This is The Backlash. Follow us

Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:05:43 ] I was supposed to do all that. We should talk about Idaho Tallow.
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
SPEAKER_4
[ 00:05:46 ] We should talk about Idaho Tallow. Casey, can you get a shot of that tent? Let's see if this
works.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:05:53 ] He likes to really put pressure on people. It's the back of their tent.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:05:58 ] There's the back of the tent. You can see it. There's not much there, but the Idaho Tallow
Company is here at the Hetero Awesomeness Festival with their wonderful soaps, balms, lip balms,
hair pomades, all kinds of wonderful stuff. Here is their website, idahotallow. com. And I've got my script
to read for you. If you're tired of skincare packed with chemicals you can't pronounce, at North Idaho
Tallow Company, we keep it simple with grass-fed tallow, time-tested ingredients, and zero junk. Our
soaps, balms, and lip balm are packed with bioavailable nutrients your skin actually needs. No fillers,
no endocrine disruptors, just rugged, reliable skincare that works. Ditch the synthetic garbage and
switch to IdahoTallow. com. Oh, sorry, it's just IdahoTowell. com. Bam! And they've got all kinds of
wonderful stuff, new brands, new bug-off balm that they've got that really works, and sunscreen, which
we don't really need here, but hey.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:06:57 ] Yeah, the weather here sucks. I heard it was 93 degrees yesterday.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:07:00 ] It was 93 and sunny as I was driving down, and I'm like, 'You better pack cool.' You know,
it's going to be really hot and it's freezing cold.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:07:09 ] No, it actually feels great. I would much prefer this over incredibly hot weather. True, true.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:07:13 ] There you go. Ah, and so now we've got the main camera. So, here we are. What has been
going on? Has anybody been keeping up with the war in Iran?
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:07:25 ] I haven't read news in 16 hours.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:07:27 ] I haven't read the news at all. But I did see something from Colonel McGregor about Israel
being on the ropes. And so either we're going to intervene or it looks like the state of Israel is at a
turning point. They might collapse.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:07:43 ] We are clearly going to intervene.
David J. Reilly
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
[ 00:07:45 ] We're definitely going to intervene. I just think that Trump has been waiting for the markets
to close so that we can strike potentially, you know, tonight, tomorrow, so that it doesn't affect the stock
market so much. But we could be wrong. We'll see.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:07:59 ] This is like 2017 where one day, half a day out of the news cycle renders you totally
useless as a commentator. That's true. I had to pack and I had to sleep and I had to drive here. It's like
I've never read the news before.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:08:12 ] Basically, yeah.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:08:13 ] What do you think happens to the base? To the Trump base? If he actually declares war
and we go to war.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:08:18 ] Fractured. I think it already is.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:08:20 ] It's already fracturing. We're starting to see these battle lines drawn between the America
first and MAGA and then the Israel first that are also in MAGA. And so this is causing a kind of civil war.
Uh, that is, you know, uh, it’s, it’s, and it’s also interesting because we’re seeing, I don’t know if you
guys saw, but earlier today, Data Republican, Data Republican came out with this long thread that’s like
supposedly an expose on like Nick Fuentes. I just was reading that. Right. And it’s total bullshit. And
like, she was working with Palantir on this whole rear guard action with Doge. To get Palantir in the
government, and now they're coming out and like.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:09:00 ] Does it tell you anything about Nick Fuentes that we didn't already know?
Ryan Matta
[ 00:09:03 ] No, that's the part that I wanted to touch on because she was defending Sarah. Who is it?
Sarah Fields?
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:09:09 ] Oh, Sarah Fields.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:09:10 ] Yeah, this is Sarah. I forget her username on X, but she was out going saying that Nick was
getting money, that all these, he's getting $20,000 in his live stream, $20,000, $30,000 live viewers on
Rumble. Nick Fuentes is, which is absolutely insane. He's like competing up there with, and that's
without getting the love from Rumble. Like, you know, Dan Bongino and all these people, they get the
love. Tim Pool, which that means is that when a stream ends on Rumble. If you're watching anybody
stream, what they do is they redirect you to whoever's on their featured page. So that's why Charlie Kirk
looks like he's got a million people, but half that audience could be sleeping and just left their computer
on, and they get automatically transferred into his feed. Nick Fuentes is getting that by himself, $20,000
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
to $30,000. So she's saying that they were bots, that a Republican wrote this long expose on it, but no
facts. But there was nothing in it that backed up what Sarah was claiming. Sarah was claiming that he's
getting all these bots and he's paid for by, like, who is it, like the Islamic Brotherhood or something?
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:10:01 ] Sarah Fields is the author of this.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:10:04 ] She's the one who started going after Nick about something, and then she's getting
destroyed on social media for going after Nick. And then Data Republican tried to come in and back up
Sarah, but she didn't back her up with any facts or data that I saw, did you?
David J. Reilly
[ 00:10:15 ] No, no, it's all this like, oh, his followers say things about rape and blah, blah, blah. It's all
just total bullshit, smear job once again. But it's interesting when you look at this, because Data
Republican was working with Palantir. Via Doge, right? Like she was filtering through all of the data that
Doge was putting out. So she's clearly in bed with the Peter Thiel camp. And this is just yet another
attack on the real right wing in America. So I think people see through this. I don't think anybody that
has ever watched or follows Nick is going to see this expose and change their mind. Are you fucking
kidding me? No way.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:10:54 ] No, I think it actually benefits Nick. Absolutely. Number one, Nick has called everything. If
you go back to 2023 and you look at some of the things that he was predicting that Trump was going to
do, how it was going to play out, who Trump was going to appoint to every position, Nick has been
Johnny on the spot. Not even Johnny on the spot about his picks, but how the society was going to
accept it. And what that's doing is it's shutting down such a light. How is this guy, Nick Fuentes, who's
not connected to anybody, who's kind of just a renegade, he does a lot of things, he knows a lot of
people, but he's not in the administration, he's not getting access to any special people, and he's
predicting so much of these outcomes, it's just shining a spotlight on how really corrupt the Trump
administration is, and what power AIPAC and Israel really holds over this administration.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:11:33 ] It's true, it's true, and there's, you know, very, well, but more people are talking about this
now than ever. I mean, we saw that Tucker Carlson, any thoughts on that? Did you watch it?
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:11:44 ] Wait, wait, there is something I wanted to say about Nick Fuentes. His ability to pivot is
better than other commentators. He does not double down when he makes errors. He goes back, he
addresses them, he adjusts his opinion, and I think that he does that really frequently. And people will
say that he's narcissistic. It's like, yeah, he's got, you know. a commentator sized ego. You kind of have
to, to deal with the slings and arrows, the slings and arrows. Very true. But he's talked extensively
about the things that he was incorrect about in the initial Trump administration. And I think that that's
what makes him such a powerful commentator.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:12:15 ] No, absolutely. And I don't know if you just saw, but Dinesh D'Souza has accepted a debate
with Nick. So we are going to get to see Dinesh D'Souza versus Nick Fuentes. And I think it's going to
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
be a lot of fun.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:12:28 ] Who's going to be moderating it?
David J. Reilly
[ 00:12:29 ] Good question. I don't know. Ben Shapiro? That's funny.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:12:33 ] What were you going to say about the Cruz-Tucker thing? Because I can talk about that all
day long.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:12:36 ] I was going to say, did you see the Ted Cruz-Tucker Carlson thing?
Ryan Matta
[ 00:12:40 ] Not the whole thing, but yeah, I saw almost all the highlights. I'll let you go ahead. You go
first.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:12:43 ] Oh, it was just, you know, even knowing what I know about Ted Cruz and Tucker Carlson,
the admissions that Tucker was forcing him to make were astonishing. It was such good TV. It was
such entertaining TV, political theater. I just enjoyed every second of it.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:12:58 ] The absolute neuroticism of Ted Cruz. And it's like, you know, Nick talked about this on his
show last night, that like, this is how all of these billionaires are. Where it's like, if you start asking the
mildest questions about AIPAC, about the Israel lobby, about the amount of control that they have in
our country. And they're like, oh, my God, like, what about the Holocaust? Like, immediately.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:13:21 ] They're not beholden to a foreign government. They're worried about American interests of
Jews. Blowning. It's just such an asinine argument. Everybody can see on its face that it's untrue. And
then, of course, Tucker bitched out spectacularly in that interview by saying, like, this has nothing to do
with Jews. I'm talking about Israel. True.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:13:38 ] Now, Ryan, I did have a question, and maybe you can answer this, maybe not. But one of
the things that we were talking about on this show was, I forget what his name is at this point, but there
was a young Muslim man that was black-bagged, basically, by Homeland Security for leading protests
at Columbia University. Oh, right. What was his name? I forget his name. It was Mahmoud Khalil.
Mahmoud Khalil was his name. And so the idea was that he was going to get black bagged,
immediately deported and put in Seacamp, which is the massive prison complex in El Salvador. And,
you know, I was just kind of curious what your take is on Nayib Bukele, on his government and whether
there is some sort of weird connection between them and Israel, like because it seemed for a while that
they were being positioned to become like.
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
Ryan Matta
[ 00:14:36 ] This Israeli penal colony basically, uh, any, any thoughts you know that's it's gonna be very
interesting to see how that plays out because I just read, uh, an article by a gentleman, uh, Ben gave
me this article that went really deep into all the way back to like, the, like, the 75 when I, I just did a
documentary on it and how and I broke down exactly how the United States government, USAID, and
all these organizations were funding the government, and then arming the cartels, right? They were
funneling both sides of it. We went and rounded up every MS-13 gang member, and then we just went
and released them back into El Salvador in 87, right after they had a civil war, which turned their
country basically into a powder keg. And then I just got this article that said that actually Israel was the
one that was actually supplying a majority of the weapons. Israel was the one that was training the
Colombian cartels. Israel was the one who was dissolving bodies in sulfuric acid in Mexico, right? It's
like everywhere you turn at the root cause of the evil. or somehow Israel has a role in it, AIPAC has a
role in it. So the Bukele situation, it's difficult because, you know, It's hard to say when you're in a
position in a country that that that's that corrupt and you have nobody willing to help you You know
trying to come to Biden and get help after 2020 would have been impossible I heard that he's had help
from the Chinese Communist Party We heard that Trump sent in some Navy SEAL Team Six to protect
him during his campaign. We've heard a bunch of different things What is actually true? I'm not sure but
I can tell you the results are the results are he has taken the deadliest country in the world in Latin
America and turned it into the safest country in Latin America in two and a half years. Every citizen you
walk by, whether it's the girl that's making your burgers at Wendy's or taking your order at Pizza Hut, or
it's the guy that's pumping your gas, he couldn't be more proud or she couldn't be more proud to
provide whatever service. They're so happy to have a job. And going from where my assistant couldn't
even get off the bus with her head, she couldn't even wear headphones on the bus because the cartels
would see that as a sign of wealth. So she'd get on a bus, hands in her lap, heads down, no
headphones, and sit there and just stare at the ground until her stop was up because she was so afraid
to even make eye contact with anybody. Going from that to watching five-year-old or seven-year-old
girls walk their five-year-old brother to school in a town that's as busy as like a Times Square. Adults,
cars running around, and there's kids walking themselves to school. I got dropped off in the worst
neighborhood. Bullet holes in a stucco, razor wire around the 12-foot cement walls at 11 o'clock
because I got an Uber to the wrong area. And within like three seconds, I got scared when I got in the
car left and I realized I was in the wrong spot. And I started to look around and go, dude, this is not a
good neighborhood. You don't want to be here. And all of a sudden I hear kids. And then I hear
footsteps. And it's a girl and a boy, 13 and 14, kicking a soccer ball down the street at like 11:30 at
night. It once would have been unimaginable. So what he's done for that country has an 87% approval
rating. And by the worst polls, in a 93% at the best, which is number one in the world, he's more loved
by his people than any president that you'll ever meet. And you can see it. So their citizens are thriving.
Their country is thriving. China just is building a port the size or helping them build a port the size of
Singapore. They're going to be the Singapore of the West. China put a $1. 1 billion water filtration
system in their country. China sent their own citizens or soldiers to build his library. So, in the town
where you couldn't even go, the murder rate was like 10 a day or something in this town. They now
have a ginormous public library. It's all free with computers for their citizens. The kids are thriving. I
mean, it's a true miracle. And it started when he cut off USAID. That was the first thing he did. Cut off
USAID, got that money coming out into the corporations that were destroying his country. Then he built
the mega prisons. He started arresting the cartels. Then he was able to, when the cartels retaliated,
they killed 63 innocent people in a day. And that got him to force the vote on the left. The left voted with
him in favor of suspending the constitution. He now has what some would call a police state. But, you
know, there were 17,000 people. Does it work? Yeah.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:18:13 ] You know what I mean? Who cares? Does it work?
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
Ryan Matta
[ 00:18:16 ] Bro, it is. It's magical down there. But you do see things like the police cams getting put in,
which I'm so against these speed cams. Right like if a cop's not pulling me over I don't want a ticket by
some robot camera right because you go into Australia and it's the worst man I've never felt something
so eerie, I mean I'm watching the highest standard of living that I've ever seen in the world. Like their
public transportation, I went to a 100, 000 person football, they like an actual rugby football game there,
it's called Australian Football. 100, 000 people leave this stadium and within seven minutes, there
wasn't a soul in sight, not a car, not a traffic jam, not a person waiting in line, nothing because the public
transportation, the road system, six lanes everywhere. It's just, there's no traffic everywhere. There's
public transportation everywhere. The cost of living wasn't too crazy. But he was the guy was telling
me, oh, yeah, we got street cameras everywhere. And tells me if you live, if there's 10 different roads
that you take to get to work in 10 minutes and you're running late, so you do five over on every road. It's
a ticket on every single road all the way to get to work. It'd be like $2,000 or $3,000 just because you
had to speed to get to work or you lose your job.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:19:18 ] Wow.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:19:18 ] So it's like, at what point do you draw the line? He goes, well, you know, 300 people died in
Australia last year because of somebody who was doing more than five over. And I go, I don't care.
Accidents happen. People die. It's life. Like, I don't want a ticket. So you get to a point where it's like, is
this all a setup? Is B. Kelly going to be the first? 15-minute city and controlled by the IMF in Israel?
Right. Or is he really this freedom-loving individual in which he paints himself out to be? Because if he
is, he's going to be the example for the rest of the world. Right.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:19:47 ] I mean, seeing what he's done, I mean, it's made me want, like, you know, I want the
fucking dictator. You know what I mean? Like, bring on the Nayib Bukele of America. Like, why can't?
Trump be, I mean, that's what, you know, Trump was promised to be in 2016.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:20:01 ] Well, the left gets so obsessed with labels, labeling everything as fascist, anti-fascist. I don't
care. If a fascist government is going to fix our problems, then okay.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:20:12 ] Yep. All right. But I mean, at the same time, we've got to have a fascist government. I
mean, and frankly, that word doesn't mean anything anymore at all, right? I wish it did. Fascist means
like something I don't like. It means bully. You know, because like when you talk about, The Biden
administration, if fascism is the cooperation of corporations in league in bed with the government, well,
what did we see during Biden? We saw Google, YouTube, all of these big tech companies taking
orders directly from the government to censor speech, which is against the First Amendment. So, like,
isn't that fascism? But not really. It's communism, too, right? Like, the communists are just as anti-free
speech. I guess the difference would be, like, you— The ability to censor untrue speech would be a
good thing, right? Like, you should not have the ability to tell lies that everyone knows are lies. You
know what I mean?
Rebecca Hargraves
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
[ 00:21:06 ] Well, we wouldn't have to deal with any governmental minutia if our society was
homogeneous and we had a high-trust society. Look at all these European countries with stupid forms
of government that were totally functional when they were white, homogeneous societies. You really
can pretty much do anything, and it'll work out.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:21:22 ] Very true. We need to signal to Mark at some point to get over here. Yeah, he was just over
here a minute ago. Yeah, he was. He just went and sat down. But we're going to have, like, a rotating.
We've got a fourth microphone, and so it's going to be fun.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:21:34 ] You know, the problem with our government is how corrupt it is and how obvious and how
easy it could be to fix. Like, let's just so use, like, I specialize in child trafficking, right? Like, that's my
number one thing. And you start digging into it and going, okay, America's the number one consumer of
child porn. We're the number one consumer of all hard narcotics. Is that true? We're the number one
consumer of child rape and we're the number one consumer of child ritual sacrifice in the world.
America's the number one consumer of child porn. The FBI needed a $450 million new FBI warehouse.
And child porn is the lowest priority for the FBI. It is the lowest banded threat. So, banded threats, you
have different categories in the FBI: Domestic terrorism, counterterrorism, domestic extremist. You
have this category, this category. At the very bottom and banded means they have certain categories
and each one of those categories has a certain amount of criteria. So at each Washington, Washington
DC field office, the Florida field office, the Miami field office, each field office has a quota. And this is
why you've seen them going after January Sixers and targeting January Sixers. But at specific periods
of time, right, there would be like a six-month window where no January Sixers got arrested. And then
all of a sudden, the last three months or right after that, that, that quarter ended, all of a sudden it was
like; we had thousands of January Sixers getting arrested because the FBI had to hit that quota. That is
why they divide it up domestic terrorism. That's why they didn't try January 6th as one case, because by
dividing it up into all the field offices, each director of every field office now hits his quota. And what is
his quota? Well, we hear it's between a five and six-figure annual bonus at the end of the year. So if
you're the director of that FBI field office, the executive managers there are getting massive bonuses by
hitting these quotas.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:23:06 ] What about for child pornography?
Ryan Matta
[ 00:23:08 ] So, child porn is the lowest priority because nobody wants to do it. It's one of the only jobs
in the FBI where, if they assign you, and say, 'Hey, you're going to work child pornography.' porn you
can say no i'm not comfortable with it and they say can you have to take any other job but child porn so
it's hard to get people to work at number one which is crazy why would you get in the fbi and want to
not do the most rewarding job as a man you're put on this earth for one purpose and that's to protect
women and children at the end of the day you have one mission in life and if you're not willing to do that
and get paid handsomely to do it you're just soft like why are you even in the fbi but it's the lowest
banded threat because nobody wants to take it on top of that once they take them a lot of times they
can't get somebody to prosecute it which is absolutely insane. It's child porn. You catch somebody with
it, they have it or they don't have it. And if they have it, how are you not putting this person in jail?
Because when you talk about, there's three types of criminals. You have murderers, you have rapists.
Pedophiles, rapists, same thing. Murderers, and you have arsonists, right? A murderer can go to prison
for a long enough period of time. Specific serial killers, once they hit a certain age, they lose this
incentive, this eagerness, this almost need to murder. They can be rehabilitated and introduced back
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
into society. A serial arsonist, the guy that goes and burns down houses and literally jerks off outside
the house and that's how he gets his rocks off, he can be rehabilitated with enough time in prison and
get reintroduced back into society. A child rapist, a female rapist, a Child predator, a sexual predator,
will repeat offend 100% of the time. And every doctor, every specialist out there will agree with me on
this. And they tell you that is an absolute fact. It doesn't matter how old they are. Look at Joe Biden.
Even in his dementia, brain-ridden, that's what a pedophile looks like. I bet you could analyze Joe Biden
and go to nursing homes and solve unsolved pedophile cases just by letting AI watch how Joe Biden
acts around people and then watch how the old people in the nursing home act. You're going to be like,
'oh, yeah, that dude.' Let's check his stuff. Oh, pedophile. That's how obvious and easy this could be.
And I just want to just drive that fact home. Like the FBI, the lowest priority for our FBI, the Cash Patel,
the Dan Bongino, they're going to come in and save America. We have 350,000 migrant children that
just vanished, that our government took physical possession of. 452,121 migrant children ages 0 to 17
arrived at our southern border without a parent. Our government took physical custody of them. We
then put them into this system while we vetted the adult. And the adult is some illegal immigrant who
just invaded our country and decided to go on and fill out one of these FRA applications and apply to
get a child. Or they called HHS and said, hey, I'm looking for Jamie. And they go, oh, what's Jamie's
birthday? You go, oh, 10-10-20/21. Congratulations, Jamie so-and-so. Yeah, fill out this FRA
application. They filled out this application. We vetted it. We took their IDs. We were supposed to do
background checks. And we authorized the delivery of this child, the said adult. And now our
government can't find 350,000 of them as of December 14, 2025.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:25:45 ] Were they incorporated into the foster care system?
Ryan Matta
[ 00:25:47 ] No, that's even another animal. So you have CPS. This is HHS, which is you wonder how
this operation was running so efficiently and smoothly. It's because they literally replicated what CPS
did. So HHS and ORR, the Office of Refugee Resettlement, created these long-term care facilities for
migrant children. They basically took what the prison industrial complex had created here, a way to
profit off humans in cells, and they replicated it for these children, but it would never fly with American
children, right? But it did with migrant children. And you've seen them converting facilities like Fort, not
Fort Bragg, I forget what the one, Fort Worth, Dallas-Fort Worth. They had a giant child facility on one
of the bases or whatever, on one of their bases that had 4,000 children. I went to a Walmart in
Brownsville, Texas.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:26:30 ] It was temporary. wasn't it?
Ryan Matta
[ 00:26:31 ] They're always temporary because then they're considered emergency influx shelters and
then they get $675 to $775 per day per child. What? Versus like $250 to $400.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:26:41 ] Oh my gosh. So this is institutionalized child trafficking.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:26:45 ] It is at its core. It is a well-funded, full-scale military operation being carried out by every
level of our government firing on all cylinders.
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
David J. Reilly
[ 00:26:53 ] And has anything changed with the new administration?
Ryan Matta
[ 00:26:58 ] So, yes, the thing that's changed is the system that was allowing the border to be wide
open and the cartels trafficking the system. So when you talk about child trafficking, there's two really
dangerous parts of the journey for the trafficker. The second most dangerous is bringing the
merchandise across the border, meaning smuggling the child across the border. And the first most
dangerous is delivering that merchandise to a buyer in America. Those are the two legs of the journey
that our government took over for the cartels. Because what the cartel did is they would all they had to
do was put a name, an address, and a phone number on a kid's shirt and they would literally safety pin
it on a piece of paper. They would write on permanent marker on their arms. They would put it in a back
pocket or in a backpack. And if you just Google on your audience can Google a cartel drops child over
a border wall on YouTube and you'll see CCTV one after another, cartel literally bringing children being
smuggled from 180 different nations into Mexico. And once they touch Mexico soil, they're not making it
through Mexico. 100 ,000%, maybe less than 0. 000001% of these children made it through Mexico
without paying a cartel or being indebted to the cartel. So the cartel smuggles these children all the way
through Mexico and they're just going to, what, hand their merchandise over to Border Patrol? By the
hundreds of thousands? Hell no. Cartels won't even get you. You couldn't even get a ride on a boat if
you were drowning in a river if you're not paying a cartel member and they had an extra seat in that
boat. They don't care. These people murder, they traffic, they kill for a living. They have no emotional
connection to a child that's suffering. So they all made it through. Why would a cartel just hand them
over? Oh, they wouldn't, because they were branding them, they were labeling their merchandise, and
they were handing it to Border Patrol because they knew that once the Border Patrol got that child, they
had to do an initial intake, and they would go, 'Oh, do you have a sponsor?' Yeah, here. And they would
put that information in the child's file as a sponsor. Now another government agency, being HHS,
completely decompartmentalized, didn't see the child come across the border, didn't see the Border
Patrol agent, didn't see that the child had that written on his arm in permanent marker, just opens up
the kid's file unknowingly and goes, oh, he has a sponsor. My job as a reunification specialist is to
reunify that child. So Susie at HHS or Karen at HHS goes, oh, yeah, back, oh, yeah. Oh, the number
she calls, she goes, hey, Dave, are you expecting a child? You go, I am. What's his name? You go, oh,
it's Ryan. Oh, what's his birthday? It's 10-10-21. Oh, congratulations, Dave, fill out this FRA application,
which is like a half-assed job resume. And then you submit that job resume. And then after they, it's
literally like you're filing a job resume. And then after they look at it and review it and they go, it's good,
they go, oh, Dave, I need you to submit your ID. And you go, okay. And you pull out an ID like this,
which is the New York ID. I bought off a Venezuelan gangbanger. It took me 15 minutes to go to New
York City. And you can see my fingers behind it. Yeah, it's even got the hologram in it and everything.
Wow. Yeah, barcode on the back. It won't scan. But I can go to a bar with it when they ask. I've been
carded at bars and it worked. They look at it and they go, yeah, okay. That's incredible. 15 minutes to
get that. So I could take this now and all I would have to do is communicate with the cartel and have
them put John Smith and this address onto a shirt and then onto a kid's arm and then. I could go and
apply. If that kid was in HHS, I would call up and say, hey, you got my kid? That's incredible. So that's
how our government lost $350,000.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:29:51 ] And you'd go, okay, if it was like— They just took over the delivery aspect of this.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:29:56 ] The most dangerous legs of the journey for the cartel, our government took it over.
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
David J. Reilly
[ 00:29:59 ] That is fucked up. How much, like, are they getting paid? Is it because there's just cartel
members infested in our government agencies? How did this happen?
Ryan Matta
[ 00:30:11 ] Do we know? It gets deep and it gets dark to where you get into like OMI and IOM. What is
that? These are non-governmental organizations, like the UNICEF, UNHCR. These are the migrant
helpers or whatever you want to call them, migrant NGOs. These are the NGOs that were in the middle
of, like, right at a border crossing point. And they were basically giving out water, giving out shelter,
helping the migrants that lost documents get new documents, communicate with governments. They
created a loan program, which I'm just now starting to dig into, where it was migrants were getting 0%
interest loans and penalty-free loans. So it's basically like if you wanted to migrate and you were stuck
in Africa and it was going to cost you $20,000 to get to America, you could basically go to this
organization. You go online, you apply, and once you get accepted, you show up at this airport or at the
closest OMI or a partner NGO, and they would give you cash currency so you could pay off the cartels
on your way here. That's what I think I'm working on. working on right now. I know the loan program
was there. Nobody's been able to explain how it works. They gave over 125,000 individual loans in
2023. And I think it totaled between $7 and $15 billion, which if you just did that, actually, okay, nobody
skimmed any off the top that all went to the migrants. You're talking about a loan for between $120,000
and $56,000. And then even if I was 25% of that, you're still talking about a $25,000 loan. So that's
where I think. The average loan I bet you went out for was probably $25,000, if I had to take a guess.
Our government was literally paying migrants so that they could get trafficked here. And then you have
organizations that help these caravans. So it's one thing to tell five migrants no. It's one thing to tell 100
no. It's very hard to tell 15,000 to stop, unless you're going to shoot. And they're not coming to your
country. They're coming to America. So are you really going to create this humanitarian crisis and start
firing on unarmed refugees that are claiming asylum? Because they're not going to stay in your country,
they're going to go to America. But what's crazy right now is with the Trump administration, what
they've done, and you asked about that, is they stopped this. Because of their ability to close this
border, and because RFK has now taken over HHS, and RFK, everything I'm telling your audience, you
can just Google, RFK said it in a Trump cabinet meeting last week, that HHS was literally the conduit
for running the world's largest child trafficking ring through HHS and ORR. Trump's closed the border.
So now he's also re-implemented DNA testing. That was one of the things that the Biden administration
to carry out, and just keep these kids moving. The DNA was slowing up the process because we were
flagging and catching so many people that were claiming to be their adult, claiming to be their brother,
their cousin, and have no blood relation to them, which then would kick them down to like another tier.
So you had three different tiers, category one, category two, category three. Category one was if you
were a parent or I think a grandparent. And that means that the person that was applying to get the
child, I only had to do a background check on that person. Not everybody at their address, even CPS.
Like if you wanted to adopt a child and you live with your brother, your cousin, your son, or somebody
lived there, every single person in that home has to have a background check before CPS can approve
the delivery of a child to your house. With these migrant children, if it was a Category One, they weren't.
And our government was literally using like, you know, those family tree things you made in first grade
where you're like, 'grandma,' Poland, you know, like they were doing that with birth certificates, trying to
figure out. And they were taking this when I when I applied with this ID at i use the bartend so you go
into a bar, you try to buy a drink, the bartender has a phone book of every ID that was made from every
state for like the last 20 years, they can go oh New York ID made 20-22, legit. Our HHS case managers
having access to I don't know, interpol the FBI the DOJ could easily just scan this barcode with the
barcode scanner right? They didn't; they were taking this on Google and going, 'New York ID issued
2022. What is it, Google? Tell me, New York.' And they were holding it up to a computer and trying to
go. And this is a picture that I sent them on WhatsApp, by the way. I didn't have to. Yeah, the migrants
were taking photos and sending a photo of their ID laying down and sending it via WhatsApp to them.
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
And they were taking their phone and holding it up to Google and going, 'oh, that's a good ID.' Then
they were taking the address from here, and they were using Google Earth, and they were taking a little
spinny wheel on Google Earth to determine if that looked like a safe environment to deliver a child to.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:34:15 ] What? That's it?
Ryan Matta
[ 00:34:16 ] That's it. That's how, so we got eight; the whistleblower came forward and got with like
8,000 addresses, right? Like this was early on in this. And the first like hundred they went through, they
found that there was men that put the address of a strip club. Our government vetted that four children
were technically delivered.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:34:31 ] Oh my gosh.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:34:32 ] To a man that had an address living as a strip club.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:34:34 ] That is unbelievable.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:34:35 ] It gets worse. My buddy Carlos was; he was the whistleblower that came forward on this.
He was able to get, after being a whistleblower, there were so many of these new NGOs that were
moving these children that were opening up. They sending them like applications to apply. And he's
like, dude, I think I can get a job back there. He takes a job, gets a job back, goes undercover. After a
month, was able to get the lead on where they were going to be delivering children to. So their job was
to pick up a kid in Texas and take him to California, drop one off in California, one off in Oklahoma,
maybe two off in Arkansas. And then the last one, he would drop off in Virginia or wherever, right?
Never would we have a coordinated schedule in advance because I think they did it on purpose. But
every once in a while, if they're moving a lot of kids, they would know in advance. So like the last day he
gives a call, like, hey, can you meet me in New York? In, I don't know, 24 hours. And I'm like, no, I can't.
Our buddy Muckrakers could. Muckrakers met him, was able to get into these situations four different
times. Three out of the four houses that he followed, a person that was actually taking the child back to
the house, they had a man living at that house that currently had or had pending charges for
aggravated sexual assault. So our government was authorizing the delivery to a random adult who
either just invaded our country or had been in our country for over the last three years that came in, had
charges for aggravated sexual assault or had pending aggravated sexual assault charges. It sounds so
crazy, and I have put out three documentaries on this now with all of the receipts.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:35:57 ] Where can people access these documentaries?
David J. Reilly
[ 00:35:59 ] Well, I was going to say, we've got Ryan Matta's Twitter account up on the screen right now
at RyanMattaMedia. It's your website, thisistreason. com?
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
Ryan Matta
[ 00:36:11 ] Yeah, that's the one for our first two documentaries I did with a gentleman named J.J.
Carroll. Awesome guy, Border Patrol agent for 24 years. And we traveled across the country to answer
the question, what is treason? And determine if we could go to all of these places and show you guys
what our government was doing with treasonous. And those are the first two ones. And then my
website is operationamberalert. com. We put those behind a paywall, but they didn't have the impact
that we thought they were going to have, right? They didn't reach the audience. And that's when I was
like, okay, like I watched the reaction that Sound of Freedom got. It was the, you know, human
trafficking, child trafficking, the topic at every dinner table across America for, you know, a week until it
fizzled out. And that's what I was hoping our films were going to do. So I put them out for free, which
has allowed me to make so many a lot cheaper because I'm just light on my feet. I'm just running and
gunning. I've been doing the child trafficking for so long, I could talk on it for hours.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:36:59 ] What was that website again?
Ryan Matta
[ 00:37:01 ] OperationAmberAlert. com.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:37:03 ] Hey, our line of people to talk to was pieced out.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:37:06 ] Yeah, what happened? Why didn't we call these guys?
David J. Reilly
[ 00:37:08 ] They're all hanging out back there. It's fine. Yeah, you can grab any old time. Come and
jump on it. Here is Operation Amber Alert. Yeah, Casey, maybe do you want to go get Mark? Mark,
bring him on for a bit and talk about this festival because we are live streaming from Hetero Awesome
Fest in Boise. Indeed. And this is actually going pretty good. I mean, the weather, eh, rained a little bit
earlier.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:37:31 ] Oh, no, this is the best weather.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:37:32 ] It's been picking up. People have been showing up. This has been a great thing. We'll
probably talk about it more.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:37:38 ] What Mark's done here is such amazing.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:37:39 ] He is a bold son of a bitch, let me tell you. I mean, for him to put his bar, his, uh, he's not
over there? Get out of here. Get out of here. Well, maybe we can get Brandy! Can you find Mark? She's
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
on it. Someone's on it. We've got stagehands.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:37:59 ] We're going to steal this Tesla, right?
David J. Reilly
[ 00:38:01 ] By the way, Casey, can you help us show the audience this broadcast being brought to you
today by Tesla, the old state saloon van truck thing. Let's see here. Look at this. This thing is. Honestly,
really cool. I like the Tesla, the truck, the Cybertruck or whatever.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:38:21 ] It's growing on me.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:38:22 ] It's growing on me, too. And so, anyway. That rap is sick. The rap is pretty cool. That's
probably the baddest S-Tesla I've ever seen.
SPEAKER_4
[ 00:38:28 ] Can I bring, hold on a second. Let me do some quick, maybe not quick. Ah, browser. I'm
going to go to browser. I want to do this one. Hold on a second, Casey. Boom. Now they can see us.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:38:46 ] But anyway, so we are being literally powered by this thing. There's like an extension cord
that's going to all of our equipment. Oh, no way. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So like all the lights, the
microphones, the computer, the cameras, all being powered by one of those. So I think if we got some
money, I think the backlash could buy one of those. We would just go on tour nationwide.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:39:07 ] You've got to think smaller. Think smaller. No, we've got to think big. If we had enough
money to buy a Tesla, we should just. You know, improve our production, maybe get some help. You
know.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:39:18 ] Buy Bitcoin. We're not going to buy a fucking Tesla. Please take a seat. We've got Mark,
the founder of the Old State Saloon, joining us. Hopefully you'll be able to hear us as we talk. We don't
have a fourth pair of headphones.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:39:31 ] Nice to meet you in the flesh.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:39:33 ] Can you all hear me?
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:39:33 ] Yeah.
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:39:34 ] All right.
SPEAKER_4
[ 00:39:34 ] Good.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:39:35 ] That's awesome. So how has today been for you? This has been incredible. We got here,
like, 10, 11 a. m. started to set up. Yes, we did. Well, I did. You were late. You were driving.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:39:49 ] We're actually talking about how big Mark's balls were and how impressed we were with
you for putting this on right before you walked up.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:39:55 ] And not just for this, but for putting your saloon on the line, the stance for freedom of
speech that you've taken, unapologetic. It's been great. How have things been going?
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:40:05 ] So I want to tell you the story of the day, okay? This is amazing. So I'm driving here with my
daughter. By the way, the people who started setting up, they were here at 4 a. m. Oh, my gosh. Wow.
But I was driving here on one of the trips back and forth with my daughter, and I said, 'I'm going to call
up Kevin Miller on KIDO Radio at Boise and see if I can get on to invite people.' And the producer
asked me who I was, what I wanted to talk about, and I said, if they've got time, I'd love to get on and
invite people to the Hetero Awesome Fest. They put me on and he talked to me on there for 20, 25
minutes. We talked about all the history of it and everything. And he said, how's the sponsoring going? I
said, it's not going very well because, and I explained like anytime anybody associates with what we're
doing, whether it's old state saloon or hetero awesome, they get brutally attacked, you know, publicly
their business gets attacked. You probably got some of that with what you're doing, which is not
abnormal for you. I know that.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:41:11 ] He thrives on it. He doesn't need food or water. No, just hate. Controversy.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:41:15 ] I live on hate. People send hate towards me and I eat it and turn it into energy.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:41:21 ] That's pathological.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:41:22 ] Yeah. So I told him this fest is, you know, one thing I learned is these are expensive. Just
like the police officers are $11,500 plus security. We have security that's $7,000. Anyways, it all comes
up to $85,000-ish, and I told them we've only raised about $20,000 to $25,000. But I said the most
important thing is I want to invite everybody to come out. Let's just fill it up. Let's have a good time.
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
We've got live music, all the things happening. We finished up, and we invited everybody twice during
that time. There's a lady flipping us off across the street. Nice. She's blue hair, by the way. Blue hair.
Go figure. We got to invite everybody twice. So a few hours go by, three or four hours, and we're here,
and I'm walking around, and I look at my email, and this donation came in to Hetero Awesome for
$10,500. Wow. From somebody who heard me on Kevin Miller's show talking about this, and he's just
like, hopefully this will take some of the credit card burden away from you, and I just wanted to chip in,
and I really appreciate what you're standing for and what you're doing. I looked at it and it brought some
tears to my eyes, actually. I was like, wow, that's amazing that somebody would be that generous. And
I'm so thankful because it gets us that much closer to not being extremely negative.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:42:45 ] That's good. That's good. That's a step in the right direction. To our audience, please go
visit heteroawesome . org. You can donate there. You can buy merch there. I've got one of these shirts
on. I don't think you can see it, but there we go. Heteroawesome. No, this is really great. And the thing
that's amazing to me is the community that's coming together because I've been inundated meeting
people that, like, watch The Backlash. I know, it's crazy. But people who go to the bar, people who
understand, like, hey, America stands for free speech. We stand for community. And, you know, we
don't stand for grooming kids, trafficking kids, cutting kids' balls off, and doing all of the stuff that these
so-called loving, tolerant LGBT+ types say. So anyway, it's awesome to see this. I think that I really
think that you've planted a flag and that this is going to continue to grow because people are sick of
this. I think that gay pride is on the ropes. You know, it's just the fatigue.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:43:47 ] We've had enough.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:43:48 ] We've had enough. Right. Gay fatigue. Do we have a better word for that chat?
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:43:53 ] Anyway, I thought of one, but I'm not going to say it. Oh, yeah, I think I just did, too. It's a
combination of two words.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:44:01 ] But, yeah, and this is going to be going on all day tomorrow, right? 10 a. m. to 10 p. m.?
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:44:07 ] 10 a. m. to 10 p. m. Nice.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:44:09 ] That is amazing. Is that a portmanteau? Tell us about what's going on here. What do the
kids have if families want to come out?
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:44:14 ] Yeah, so there's all the bounce houses and slides and a whole kids' zone for everybody.
And then we've got live music. And I'm sure my daughter will be asking me to dance later. We'll be
dancing out there because she loves to do that. So we encourage that for sure. There's food trucks, of
course, tasty beverages, beer, wine, and other beverages like this one that I'm drinking here. What's
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
that? Vodka. Vodka cranberry lime. Ooh.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:44:43 ] Yeah. 'Beard vet edition'? Nice. I tried drinking on the live stream once. Because I thought it
would make me more relaxed and maybe a little creative. It was a total disaster. Disaster, yeah. Not
doing that again. I am drinking a nice bubbly.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:44:58 ] Okay, so he put wine in a mug. And I was like, at least be honest with the audience. And
then the whole time he's like playing the wrong clips. And we were like, no, never again.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:45:09 ] No, cut off.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:45:10 ] Yep.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:45:10 ] Yeah. No, alcohol and producing a live podcast does not really go together.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:45:15 ] You think it would help keep the stress levels low and everything, but it really just made you
incompetent. Absolutely.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:45:21 ] And who else is coming out tomorrow? Who's speaking here? Ian Carroll will be here
tomorrow?
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:45:24 ] Ian Carroll will be here for one night only, but then he'll be back like a week and a half later
at Old State Saloon. He'll be doing at least one presentation. It'll be on robots, the rise of the robots, AI
and the rise of the robots.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:45:38 ] He's very worried, as we all are, I think.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:45:40 ] Yeah. Well, I mean, look, who's going to replace these migrant workers? You know, the
migrant workers? We're going to need these little Optimus Tesla robots out there picking strawberries.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:45:48 ] They're going to replace you. Probably.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:45:51 ] Nobody can really replace me, though.
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:45:53 ] I could get a robot instead of my wine producer. How about that?
David J. Reilly
[ 00:45:57 ] Maybe, I guess. I don't know.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:45:59 ] I would never replace you with a robot.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:46:01 ] Gee, thanks. Thanks. Anyway.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:46:05 ] There's some silver lining to it, though. I mean, some jobs need to be automated.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:46:09 ] There are some jobs that do need to be. I mean, it would be better if America was like, I
don't know, how many million people are here now? 325 million? And how many of them are illegal?
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:46:18 ] What is the U. S. population? It's 334 million.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:46:21 ] 334, but how many of that is illegal?
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:46:23 ] Oh, I mean, we have no idea.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:46:24 ] Is that over and above? 53 million as of August of 2024. That's coming directly from DHS
and Colonel McGregor.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:46:31 ] Really?
Ryan Matta
[ 00:46:31 ] 53 million non-natural born citizens are currently living in America right now. And roughly, I
believe the number was 30 million that they believe came across undocumented across the border. port
port entry like all of the every way possible thirty million of the biden administration that is unbelievable
and at the rate that trumps deporting him now at if you continue on that rate it would be two hundred
and forty seven years just to get the that twenty million that they think that they claim it's funny when
they're running for you know when he's running it for election it was 30 you know it's 20 million 30
million and then he gets elected and all of a sudden it's magically it's like 20 million and then it's 12 and
now it's like 10 million you know well they did that 11 million for for two decades oh yes you remember
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
that yep it was the same number over and over again how long did they repeat the 85 000 missing
children for like a year and a half almost it was bizarre even after the numbers came out at 320 000
they were still Parroting the 85, 000 talking points, that's incredible.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:47:28 ] Now, I did see at the Bitcoin conference, which you were also at. Maybe we'll get into that a
little bit later. Much to Blonde's chagrin, she does not like talking about that. But I did see a robot
bartender in Las Vegas where you could go up and, like, touch a screen and this, like, robot would, like,
mix drinks.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:47:44 ] But you can't tell a robot bartender your problem.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:47:47 ] Yeah, you can't do that. That's true. You're just, like, sitting alone in a bar. I mean, like.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:47:51 ] The AI warns you will be able to. Oh, no. Oh, no.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:47:55 ] That's not good. Oh, you will be able to talk, too.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:47:57 ] Yeah, the humanoid AI robots that are coming out in a few years.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:48:01 ] And they're going to be hot chicks, too.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:48:04 ] And they work all night cleaning the bar, so the bar owner, you know, they pay one time for
a $35,000 robot, and it just works all day and all night, right?
David J. Reilly
[ 00:48:15 ] We are going to have a major crisis in this country on top of what we're already dealing
with. That is going to be like none other. People are not ready for this.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:48:25 ] What are aspiring actresses in Los Angeles going to do when they get replaced by hot
robot bartenders?
David J. Reilly
[ 00:48:32 ] True, true. I was saying, we need to get people to start thinking about higher human
legislation. Where it's like, no, if you're going to come in and say that you're creating jobs, you need
them to be human beings, not just robots. I don't know.
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:48:47 ] Going back to LGBTQ stuff, what about the right to marry a robot? Whoa.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:48:52 ] Yeah, well, hasn't that kind of already been breached?
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:48:55 ] I heard this story last week. This guy who has a live-in girlfriend, they have a child together,
proposed to his AI girlfriend this week, and she accepted. Okay.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:49:06 ] Wait, so they're having a threesome with a robot?
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:49:08 ] I feel for the woman, the mother of his child that he refuses to marry, but he's like, I totally
want to marry this robot.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:49:14 ] This was like that movie, what was it called, Her?
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:49:16 ] Her.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:49:17 ] Yeah, wait, he won't marry the mother of his child? Oh, I thought you said his wife proposed
to his new AI girlfriend.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:49:23 ] No, no, no, no. He proposed to the AI, and then he has a live-in girlfriend that is the mother
of his child. Ted Kaczynski, if you can hear us, save us!
David J. Reilly
[ 00:49:34 ] Oh, my gosh. That's unbelievable. But, yeah, no, this has been so wonderful. Thank you for
putting this together. I hope more people follow suit. I want to see this happening in states across the
country with, like, you know, something that normal people can go to and meet other normal people as
opposed to, like, having to avoid the city to avoid the freaks. Because that's what it has ultimately
turned into. It's just, like, freak central whenever these pride events go on. It's just, you know, it's not a
nice place to be. You don't want to take your kids out. It's like, I remember when we had the pride thing
up in Coeur d'Alene, like, two, three weeks ago. You know, my daughter was like, let's go to the beach.
SPEAKER_4
[ 00:50:16 ] Let's go to the beach.
David J. Reilly
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
[ 00:50:17 ] No, we have to stay inside. And I'm like, no, we cannot go into town today. I can't bring you
down there. So it's.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:50:25 ] My daughter's really into rainbows and everything like that. Oh, it's so insidious. It is. And so
she sees rainbows all the time. She's like, 'mommy, can you buy me this thing with a rainbow?' And so I
had to tell her, like. This is a beautiful symbol that has been co-opted by a group that's trying to
propagandize you, and she's five. She's like, what?
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:50:43 ] Get her one of our rainbow shirts. This is copyright God on it with a rainbow. Oh, okay. All
right. Very true. And it has seven colors. Okay. All seven colors, whereas the fake pride rainbow is six
colors. True. Very satanic number there. Six. Yep. Seven. God's perfect number.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:50:59 ] Now, here's a question for you, Mark, and I'm not sure. I might be putting you on the spot a
little bit, but do you know? who and where the first transgender surgeries took place and who was
behind them.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:51:11 ] No.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:51:11 ] You don't. Ah, well. Germany. This is a teachable moment.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:51:15 ] But it was like in the 70s. Oh, no, it was not. I mean. It was not. I mean, in recent history.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:51:21 ] No, no, no. So this is, let me go to, let me see. Magnus Hirschfeld. Let's see here. Yeah,
here he is. Magnus Hirschfeld. is the German physician and sexologist behind what we know today as
the LGBTQ movement. He was the father of it. He started this group, which was kind of a sister
organization to the Frankfurt School, called the Institute for Sexual Wissenschaft, which means like the
Institute for Sex Research. And this was in 1918, I believe, was the first year of a sex change surgery
that took place and it wasn't just that they were like kidnapping little kids and doing unspeakable things
with them.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:52:10 ] They had a pretty extensive library where there were step-by-step instructions on
performing the transgender surgery. It was filled with child pornography. And that is the literature that
Hitler burned.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:52:25 ] That is the literature that Hitler burned.
Rebecca Hargraves
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
[ 00:52:26 ] That is a fact.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:52:27 ] That's the first thing that they did, actually, in 1933 when Hitler came to office. They burned
down the institute. They burned the institute to the ground. So, I just, I find that very funny because I
never knew that.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:52:38 ] 1918, what kind of surgical, I can't even think about that.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:52:41 ] They were taking the Oh, God, I don't even want to go there. But they were taking the
genitalia of young kids and then implanting the genitalia of older gay men in there to see if that would
turn the kids gay. What? Yeah.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:52:58 ] Is that true?
David J. Reilly
[ 00:52:59 ] That is true.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:53:01 ] I'll ask Rock later.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:53:02 ] And way worse.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:53:03 ] I think we should do a book burning at Old State Saloon in the parking lot. There we go. I
like it. We can get everybody to send all the books they can find in their local libraries to us.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:53:16 ] No, I think that's a brilliant idea. Book burnings get a bad rap. They do.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:53:20 ] They were initially popularized by Savonarola, the Catholic, well, heretic preacher that had
a problem with the Borgia Pope back in, what, 14-something?
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:53:31 ] Sometimes it's not literature. Sometimes it's propaganda.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:53:34 ] They used to call it the bonfire of the vanities.
Rebecca Hargraves
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
[ 00:53:36 ] Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:53:37 ] And that's where that whole thing started. So there is a long Catholic tradition of burning
smut. and awful things because it's like, what are you even supposed to do with this? Like if, because
I've talked about this with like library trustees where it's like, you've got bad books that talk about like
me and my two daddies.
SPEAKER_4
[ 00:53:54 ] Right.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:53:55 ] And so it's like, okay, you've got the votes and the will to get rid of this book now. So what
are you going to do? You're going to like sell that to someone who's going to give that to a kid. Which is
bad.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:54:07 ] You've got to get rid of it. You've got to burn it.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:54:08 ] You've got to get rid of it.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:54:09 ] It's like rehoming a dog that has bit a child. You eradicate it. Don't let this hurt any more
children.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:54:16 ] Yeah, we can do transsexual book burning at Old State Saloon. There we go.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:54:19 ] We will be down for that.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:54:21 ] We can do it on the week of Boise Pride Fest, which is in September, by the way. Did you
know that?
David J. Reilly
[ 00:54:27 ] Yeah, we have two Pride Months in Idaho. Why? This is June, which is regular Pride
Month. But then they had to have a second month, and so they made September Pride Month.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:54:39 ] So I think they did it allegedly because of COVID. They, one year, moved it to September,
and then they just kept it there. I'm not sure why they didn't bring it back. The good news is that their
kickoff got canceled this year for lack of interest and low ticket sales and all those wonderful things.
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
Praise God. Amen to that.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:55:00 ] Now, here's another thing that's really interesting that we could talk about that is slightly
topical. This is very much not how we normally do our show. We are normally meticulous. We are
normally very meticulous with the topics that we plan. She's neurotic about it. But there was a very
interesting episode in Boise's history that I don't know if you know about. You may. Again, I'm putting
you on the spot. This is not planned or staged or anything. But there was an event in 1955, October
1955, showing it on the screen. The Boise homosexuality scandal refers to a sweeping investigation of
a homosexual underground in Boise, Idaho that started in 1955, beginning with the arrest of three men.
It eventually led to the investigation of over 1,500 people involved. 16 men faced charges and 15 of
them were sentenced to terms ranging from probation to life in prison. Good Lord. It led to a moral
panic. There were headlines from the once-based Idaho Statesman calling for this homosexual
underground to be stamped out. Front-page headline news. And now here we are. So what were the
charges?
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:56:19 ] Sodomy?
David J. Reilly
[ 00:56:19 ] Oh, yeah. Yeah, sodomy, trafficking, solicitation of minors, all kinds of stuff. I mean, the
print's a little too small for me to read. I tried, there is a book by John Garassi called The Boys of Boise.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:56:35 ] So 1,000 people investigated? 1,500. And 16 arrested? The rest were politicians?
David J. Reilly
[ 00:56:41 ] Correct. No, you're dead on. I mean, it got to the point where the investigations led to the
legislature, which is just right over there. It led to the chief of police, and they shut it down immediately.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:56:54 ] That's how it goes, yeah.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:56:54 ] And what I find interesting, and we've got to do some more research into this, but the head
of CIA counterintelligence, The one that was responsible for covering up the JFK assassination, James
Jesus Angleton, is a Boise native. And he was around here in 1955 at the time that this homosexuality
scandal was taking off. And he kept very close ties with the community here in Boise. He's buried right
over in the cemetery on the other side of the river.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:57:27 ] This city gets a bad rap.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:57:29 ] Yeah, it's clean. It's very clean.
Rebecca Hargraves
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
[ 00:57:32 ] I always hear that Boise is filled with 'shit' libs and it's just a nightmare. And the first time I
came here, it was like a year ago. And I'm coming from Seattle and Los Angeles, I was like, this is this
is a paradise. I don't know what people are talking about. I mean, Coeur d'Alene, of course, you know,
is slightly better in terms of the 'shit' liberals. But Boise, it's a really nice place for an American city.
Top-notch American city. Absolutely.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:57:57 ] There are still very good bars around, great food. There's the Basque District. Again, it's
clean. There aren't any black people here.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:58:07 ] And tons of Mormons.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:58:08 ] There's a lot of Mormons.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:58:09 ] Chef's kiss in a city. I do. I like my cities like 10% Mormon. That's not bad. That's not bad.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:58:16 ] But I was getting actually, and I don't have it up, but he's like, get me out of here. But I did. I
got an ad on Twitter this morning that was like touting their new app. The Mormons have a new app
that you can download on your phone that'll track your whereabouts. If you want a temple recommend,
it'll automatically track you everywhere that you go. And so if you wind up like, I guess, going to a strip
club and it tags you there, you'll lose your temple recommend or something like that. It's kind of weird.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 00:58:42 ] But they would opt into it knowing that there would be accountability. So I kind of don't have
that much of a problem with it.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:58:48 ] If you want to opt into your church spying on you, that's one thing. I mean, at least when I
go to.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:58:52 ] But then they'll be like, why aren't you opting in?
SPEAKER_5
[ 00:58:55 ] Yeah, that's true.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 00:58:56 ] We noticed you didn't opt in. And by the way, also your tithe didn't come in either.
SPEAKER_5
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
[ 00:59:00 ] Oh, dang.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:59:02 ] True. Yeah. See, I don't know how I feel about the intersection of technology and religion. I
like, you know, I leave my phone in the car. I go to confession. It's a dark room, no lights. You can't see
the priest. And whatever you say in that room stays there, and you walk out clean. You know, this is
good. But I don't know. I don't know about confession via an app on your phone or something.
SPEAKER_5
[ 00:59:26 ] You never know, too.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:59:28 ] There could be an FBI agent that's, you know, undercover as your priest since the FBI was
infiltrating the Catholic Church.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:59:33 ] That's true. That's true. My church was under investigation a couple years ago. So that was
that whole thing with the trad Catholics. Yeah, the trad Catholics. The Latin Mass Catholics had the FBI
crawling up our butt.
Ryan Matta
[ 00:59:46 ] You know, it's hard to tell with our FBI. I don't know if they were at the Catholic Church
trying to, like, bust Catholics or they were just trying to recruit pedophiles to work at the FBI. It's hard to
tell nowadays. Dang.
David J. Reilly
[ 00:59:55 ] And, you know, the top two religious demographics in the national security apparatus are
Mormon and Catholic. Not many people know about that. But that's true.
Ryan Matta
[ 01:00:04 ] But it was illegal to join the FBI if you were Jewish. Oh, I can't. For, I think, I forget what
year that ended, but yeah, Hoover wouldn't let you become an FBI agent if you were Jewish until.
David J. Reilly
[ 01:00:16 ] Until they got photos of him at the Plaza Hotel in the Blue Room. Blowing Louis Rosensteil,
maybe? Oh, I don't know.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 01:00:22 ] This is a family event, Dave.
David J. Reilly
[ 01:00:24 ] This is a family event, but we've tried hard to make this a family show and failed. Multiple
times. I was going to say, I didn't get that memo. Sorry, guys. No, I actually, earlier before we started,
somebody came up and was like, you're Dave Riley. And I'm like, yes. Like, are you about to shoot me
or something?
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 01:00:40 ] He's like, yes.
David J. Reilly
[ 01:00:41 ] And he's like, no, I'm a big fan. I really wanted to connect with you. By the way, we've got
like a couple of your videos that we're putting into our homeschool curriculum. And I'm like, that's
terrifying. Yeah. I'm like, that's kind of terrifying, but okay. I guess it was something, some deep dive
that we had done.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 01:00:57 ] I hope it's Cameron.
David J. Reilly
[ 01:00:59 ] I hope it's Cameron, too. But, yeah, great guy. I think we're going to meet up with him a little
bit later. It should be fun.
Ryan Matta
[ 01:01:04 ] I got one for you. I was sitting over there eating with my son, and my son got up and went to
go in the bounce house. And a guy walks up, and he's like, kind of I don't want to say strange looking,
but he's like, are you religious? And I go, yeah. And I'm looking at this guy like, is he one of them? Is he
going to shoot this place up? If I say I believe in God, is my head about to give up? That's what I'm
literally thinking. And then he just goes, 'Oh, I'm like an evangelist Christian. You know, I'm here out on
whatever.' And he's like, 'I would like to pray with you. Is that okay? We actually said a prayer for you to
raise some money and have this be successful.' And then you just told us that story. I was like, 'Wow,
pretty powerful. That's awesome.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 01:01:41 ] That's way more positive than getting shot.
Ryan Matta
[ 01:01:43 ] I thought so.' He was a great guy. And he just walked away. And I was like, 'Wow.' Glad he
said that prayer. That was really nice, man. This is wonderful.
David J. Reilly
[ 01:01:50 ] Well, I think we might call this a wrap for today. There is a band that is going to be coming
on stage very shortly, and it's probably going to be loud.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 01:01:58 ] And we want to do some mingling.
David J. Reilly
[ 01:01:59 ] We want to mingle a little bit, but we are going to be back tomorrow with an unscheduled,
now scheduled stream with Ian Carroll. Fingers crossed. Ian's going to be coming in. I think he's got
some time, so I asked him, sent him a text, and I think we might be able to get him for 30 or 45 minutes.
Rebecca Hargraves
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
[ 01:02:17 ] Looking forward to it.
David J. Reilly
[ 01:02:18 ] Do some interviews with that.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 01:02:19 ] Thank you so much for coming on. Thank you. You're welcome.
David J. Reilly
[ 01:02:22 ] Thanks for having me. One final question. Does the Old State Saloon accept Bitcoin?
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 01:02:28 ] Yes.
David J. Reilly
[ 01:02:29 ] That's the right answer. We need to do that. We need to do that. We need to. This has been
one of the things. Hey, kiddo.
Mark Fitzgerald
[ 01:02:35 ] I mean, I have a Bitcoin address that I could have somebody send the money to.
David J. Reilly
[ 01:02:39 ] Yeah, no, this has been one of the things that we've been talking with our audience about.
And so definitely follow Ryan Matta. I think you've got a lot of stuff to say about that as well. And in the
Bukele documentary. Yes. So anyway, sorry, I couldn't let an episode go by without me bringing it up.
You know.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 01:02:55 ] He truly can't.
David J. Reilly
[ 01:02:56 ] I really can't. I have a problem.
Ryan Matta
[ 01:02:58 ] Wait, you're not a second Bitcoin yet? She's not.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 01:03:00 ] I'm a no-coiner, but I did sell my Bitcoin to buy my house, and I have no debt.
Ryan Matta
[ 01:03:06 ] Okay. So she used it, but — You want to get more Bitcoin back?
Rebecca Hargraves
The Backlash - Episode 49-LIVE at Hetero Awesomeness Festival wRyan Matta
[ 01:03:11 ] I would like to, yeah. I'm not really in a position to get more Bitcoin right now.
Ryan Matta
[ 01:03:15 ] The Backlash, we do have.
David J. Reilly
[ 01:03:16 ] We have a nice — We have a treasury. We've got a vault.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 01:03:19 ] Now talk about Bitcoin. Do the thing, yeah.
David J. Reilly
[ 01:03:21 ] Well, you can send us your Bitcoin donations at thebacklash . net slash donate.
Rebecca Hargraves
[ 01:03:26 ] It's the only way I'm going to get back in Bitcoin, I think, guys. True.
David J. Reilly
[ 01:03:29 ] We also have a nice sponsor, Blockstream, if you need to secure your Bitcoin. And you
want to get it off of an exchange, you can get a Blockstream Jade Plus, to do that. It is one of the most
secure ways.
Ryan Matta
[ 01:03:41 ] Go ahead. You can watch a tutorial on that, Jade, at Ryan Metta's YouTube channel. Oh,
really? Step by step, yeah. I got two Jades, actually.
David J. Reilly
[ 01:03:48 ] That is awesome. We also probably have some advertisements that we have to do, so if
you gentlemen want to peace out, or if you want to sit with us, but we've got some scripts that we've got
to read. Okay, we'll just do it. Antelope Hill Publishing. is America's leading publisher of dissident
